“Are you sure you don’t need it?” Tang Rui looked at Prince Salim with a bit of disbelief and asked.

“It’s not that we don’t want it, but compared to mecha models, soldiers, and military equipment bring us a greater sense of security,” Prince Salim organized his thoughts and said diplomatically.

Alright then.

Hearing Prince Salim’s response, Tang Rui didn’t insist further.

Offering cool stuff for show and you don’t want it?

Fine then.

“Okay, how about switching to fifth-generation fighters and missiles?” Tang Rui said nonchalantly.

If that’s possible, it would be ideal,” replied Prince Salim.

“Sure, I’ll arrange it for you.”

“Thank you very much.”

With just a few simple words, the matter was settled.

Tang Rui didn’t want to talk more.

Prince Salim seemed to want to chat a bit longer, but noticing Tang Rui’s reluctance to discuss further, he didn’t press on.

That night, Prince Salim left.

Tang Rui, along with Li Shuyao, took a yacht to Sanya to enjoy water activities like wake surfing, parasailing, and water jet riding.

In the blink of an eye, the day of the exhibition arrived.

Tang Rui and Li Shuyao entered the venue through a special passage, heading straight to the VIP seats beside the runway.

The VIP seats, though claimed to be special, were essentially just closer to the runway, offering a clearer view of the fighter jets.

At the airshow’s opening ceremony, flight performances were, of course, indispensable.

Last year, the Bayi Aerobatic Team performed the opening act, flying the J-io series fighters.

But this year was different. Tang Rui heard that the Air Force planned to showcase the sixth-generation fighter jets in the opening performance.

He didn’t inquire further.

The Air Force might have the idea, but it didn’t mean it would be approved from above.

After a while, the flight performance team finally made their appearance. “Wow!”

As five sixth-generation fighters entered the runway from a distance, a wave of awe swept through the crowd.

The simultaneous interpreter began explaining to the VIP section.

“Entering the runway now is our country’s independently developed and world’s first sixth-generation fighter jet…”

Tang Rui wasn’t paying attention to the live commentary.

He just wanted to know if the opening flight performance would show off some fancy maneuvers.

Sixth-gen fighters weren’t like fourth-gen ones.

Whether at low-altitude, low-speed, or high-altitude, high-speed, sixth-gen fighters could handle it all, especially the ones he designed with variable forward-swept wings.

coupled with powerful thrust-vectoring engines, they could certainly pull off some high-difficulty moves.

Obviously, what he could think of, the air force big shots had also considered. As the five sixth-gen fighters taxied in front of the audience, they suddenly raised their noses and retracted their landing gears.

“Damn!”

A voice of disbelief echoed from behind.

The five sixth-gen fighters hovered at a 75-degree angle just two meters above the ground, moving slowly forward-even slower than Mrs. Li next door on her morning walk.

Click, click, click…

Medm photographers on both sides of the viewing stand went crazy, snapping

A minute later, as the sixth-gen fighters were about to leave the runway in front of the crowd, they suddenly made a 180-degree turn on the spot and returned the same way at a 75-degree angle.

These were… the representatives of various countries in the VIP section, along with executives from aviation corporations, had a range of expressive reactions.

Was this a flight performance?

Yes and no.

To a spectator, it was an exciting flight performance, especially with sixth-gen fighters.

But from another perspective, it was more than just a performance.

The five sixth-gen fighters, with a domineering attitude, circled back and forth in front of the audience and then shot straight up like a rocket.

Quickly reaching an altitude of 500 meters.

The fighters, as if they had lost power, began to float down from the sky. Ultra-low-altitude leaf fall.

To ensure visibility, the fighters floated down from 500 meters, hovering just 2 meters above the ground.

Gulp!

Tang Rui heard many swallowing sounds.

That must have been frightening.

Not everyone had the nerve for this.

After hovering at a 2-meter height for two seconds, the fighters took off again flipping and spiraling into the sky.

Then came a series of super-maneuvers.

Zero-radius hovering, vertical backward flying, continuous loop-the-loops—maneuvers beyond the capabilities of fourth and fifth-gen fighters.

The sequence of thrilling moves left the audience in awe.

The real spectators were excited, especially the military enthusiasts.

Although it was known that sixth-gen fighters had been deployed, no one had seen their maneuverability in person. Nobody knew how the highly praised sixth-gen fighters truly performed.

Now they were convinced, even feeling that the internet had understated their capabilities.

After watching the flight performance, they were eager to spread the word.

But the expressions of the representatives from various countries were quite peculiar.

“Can our sixth-gen fighters be modified to have forward-swept wings’” a representative from America asked someone from Boeing.

“It can’t be done,” the Boeing official replied helplessly.

Everyone had sixth-gen fighters.

But why did yours retain close-quarters combat capabilities? That’s not logical. The standard for sixth-gen fighters was supposed to be their high-altitude, high-speed, and great combat radius.

Yet, they’d also managed high maneuverability.

How was Crimson supposed to compete with that?

Fifteen minutes later, after the sixth-gen fighter performance ended.

The Boeing official picked up the phone to call headquarters.

Others left their seats to explore the venue and exhibition hall, planning to return later for other flight performances.

Tang Rui, with Li Shuyao, walked into the venue.

He ignored the Crimson Corporation’s aircraft display outside, not interested in America’s planes.

What he didn’t care about.

At that moment, caught massive attention.

A military enthusiast saw the Cavalry and shouted.

“Holy shit… America brought out the B-1B Cavalry.”

The enthusiast, standing dozens of meters away, yelled excitedly upon seeing the Cavalry.

Then, a crowd rushed to the Crimson’s aircraft display.

“To be honest, America’s air force really has no weaknesses. Whether it’s fighter jets, bombers, including transport and early warning aircraft, they’re all impressive.

This C-2C… What’s this? It’s wrong, isn’t it supposed to be the B-iB Cavalry?

How did it become C-2C?”

At that moment, he wasn’t the only one confused.

The surrounding military enthusiasts were also baffled.

“Did America make a mistake? Or is it an upgraded version?” someone whispered.

“Is there a possibility that this isn’t America’s display?”

“Hmm?”

Holy f*ck…. it’s Crimson Corporation!”
