“Chicken soup is coming!”

Li Shuyao carried the chicken soup out of the kitchen and placed a full basin of chicken soup on the dining table.

The chicken soup contained goji berries and some mushrooms.

The pale yellow chicken soup smelled very fragrant.

Indeed, it was a free-range old hen from the military farm. It was very fragrant when stewed, much better than the broiler chickens bought from the market.

“Why not kill that black chicken, it’s even more nourishing,” Li Shuyao said while serving Tang Rui the chicken soup.

“That black chicken is very energetic, we are planning to send it to the moon for experiments, so we can’t eat it,” Tang Rui said casually.

Sip…

The taste was just right and very fragrant.

Tang Rui didn’t like eating chicken meat, but he liked drinking chicken soup.

He drank three bowls of chicken soup and ate a bowl of rice.

What a feast.

He wasn’t sure if it was because of the ingredients in the chicken soup or if the soup was too nourishing, but that night Tang Rui performed exceptionally well and exercised for more than an hour.

The next day, when Gao Yang went to the moon, he also took the energetic black chicken that was jumping around in the cage.

This time, the space command center made more preparations.

They used more advanced sensors and also gathered information and monitored the environment around the cage in real-time.

Tang Rui didn’t bother with these.

After he gave the chicken to Gao Yang, he returned to the laboratory and began to enhance and upgrade the exoskeleton armor.

[Item: Single Soldier Exoskeleton Armor +3]

[Experience: 1120528/? (Non-upgradable)]

[Origin points: 756.28]

Looking at the data on the system panel, the experience points were overflowing a lot, probably enough to upgrade to +9.

The whole structure enhanced -2 origin points.

External armor enhanced -2 origin points.

The internal system enhanced -2 origin points.

Power system enhanced -2 origin points.

He spent a total of 8 origin points to fully enhance the exoskeleton armor, which now included an auxiliary power system.

The enhanced exoskeleton armor looked more sci-fi and more menacing.

After the enhancements were complete, Tang Rui continued to upgrade.

He upgraded directly to level 6.

With a flash of pale golden light, the upgrade was complete.

[Item: Single Soldier Tactical Maneuver Armor +6]

[Experience: 6714.28/? (Non-upgradable)]

[Enhancement: Frame, System, Armor, Power, Energy]

[Features: No Blind Spot Defense, Flexible Maneuverability, Full Anti-Interference]

[origin points: 74.8.28]

The exoskeleton armor, now upgraded to level 6, had become Single Soldier Tactical Maneuver Armor.

Its performance had definitely improved a lot.

But it still needed to be tested.

“Red Lotus, keep the blueprints and data safe and then test it, a full-range test.”

“Okay, master, Red Lotus understands.”

Tang Rui nodded and then left it alone.

The remaining set of armor was not enhanced with origin points but was set aside.

Although the enhancement didn’t cost many origin points, it added up to a significant amount.

With current technology, this type of Single Soldier Tactical Maneuver Armor could be manufactured.

It couldn’t be made before mainly because of material issues.

Now that the material problem was solved, manufacturing it would not be a problem.

So, in this case, there was no need to spend origin points.

He had become quite lazy recently.

The accumulation speed of origin points was basically on par with his usage. If he hadn’t been doing research recently and created some experimental equipment and devices, his origin points reserve would have been even lower.

Back on the sofa, Tang Rui began to read the emails he had received recently.

Red Lotus could reply his emails, but he still wanted to check them to avoid any mistakes.

Most of the emails were from the Bohai Bay project.

Although the undersea tunnel had been laid, the decoration and equipment installation were still ongoing. According to the current pace, the Bohai Bay undersea tunnel could be opened to traffic by the end of this year or early next year at the latest.

Tang Rui checked Red Lotus’s replies, all of which were fine.

There were also a few emails from two refineries.

Requesting cooperation in increasing or decreasing the crude oil transport volume.

After reading these emails, Tang Rui sat up and asked Red Lotus to connect to the temporary lunar base. He wanted to see how the black chicken was doing.

The video connected.

An astronaut was checking the equipment next to the cage.

“Mr. Tang, are you here to see Chicken Brother?” the astronaut asked as soon as he saw Tang Rui.

“Yes, I want to see how it’s doing. Are all the data still normal?” Tang Rui didn’t understand why the other party called it Chicken Brother, but that didn’t affect his understanding of the situation.

Actually, the other party got it wrong.

It was an old hen, it should be called Chicken Sister.

“All data is good, and the sensors haven’t detected any environmental anomalies,” the astronaut replied immediately.

“Okay, then you go ahead, I won’t disturb you.”

Tang Rui looked at the lively black chicken jumping around in the cage and then ended the video call.

It was very energetic, not bad.

Over the next few days, Tang Rui monitored the manufacture of the large orbital drop pods while casually writing research papers and lived a comfortable life.

He spent a day writing more than a dozen papers, all related to magnetic fields.

However, he only observed the phenomena and provided some data, not getting involved in the specific research work.

Naturally, others would study it once the papers were submitted.

After finishing the papers, he continued to work on nuclear fusion.

This time he aimed to miniaturize the nuclear reactor.

Initially, miniaturization went very smoothly.

All that was needed was to reduce the volume of the reactor. As long as the magnetic field strength didn’t decrease and the materials were fine, even the smallest reactor could be made..
