“It is estimated that it will take another two months, and that’s with the provision of new drill bits and excavation technology,” a member of the think tank replied.

“Two months… that’s acceptable. During this period, let’s not do anything and wait for the alien spaceship to be excavated.”

We can t just do nothing, that would be too abnormal.”

“Then what should we do?”

“Discuss the oil issue with Russia.”

“Oil?”

“Yes, the mainland has started producing oil, and the extraction volume is quite significant. For now, their crude oil is only used domestically, so it hasn’t affected international oil prices.

“But they won’t always refrain from exporting oil. When they do start, given their style, they will surely target our oil system.

Since we can’t stop them, it’s better to proactively open a door and let Da Mao get involved.

“That way, the interests in the oil sector won’t be ours alone,” said the think tank member.

Everyone agreed with nods.

Previously, they could use international influence to blockade Da Mao and sanction them, but they couldn’t use the same tactic against the domestic producers.

The same move, when used against different opponents, yields entirely different results.

Thus, the oil issue is an unsolvable problem.

Unless they could physically overpower them.

Unfortunately, they simply can’t do that now.

“Will the Russians collaborate with us?”

“No, but they will act for their own interests.”

“Alright, I’ll contact the Russians later. Any other suggestions?” After hearing this, the think tank member fell silent.

Any other ideas?

What a thought.

It was already challenging enough to slightly delay the opponent’s strength growth and cause them trouble in various aspects.

“Alright, let’s adjourn the meeting,” said the big boss, getting up and leaving the meeting room.

He went to a secure room to prepare for a phone call. After ensuring the line was ready, he dialed.

The call lasted for about fifteen minutes.

He hung up, satisfied with the conversation. Though slightly annoyed, the other party’s thoughts were all within the think tank’s predictions.

For the sake of their own personal interests, Russia dared to do anything.

“President Tang, are we participating in this year’s Zhuhai Airshow?” Lin Chao asked Tang Rui.

Zhuhai Airshow?

Tang Rui remembered that the airshow was coming up soon.

This was definitely something to participate in.

“Yes, we are. When should we go?” asked Tang Rui.

“No rush, there’s still more than half a month left. If we’re participating, we need to submit an equipment list in advance. What do you plan to display?” “Display, huh… There are quite a few things. I need to think about it.”

Tang Rui pondered over this issue, feeling a bit troubled.

Shen Hong Company had too many things.

Or rather, the mess he created was too big.

Just the airplanes alone came in many models, from fighters to transport planes.

There was plenty of equipment but much of it couldn’t be exported.

That’d be really bothersome.

Take your time to think, and send me the list when you’re ready,” Lin Chao said and left.

Tang Rui took a yogurt from the lab fridge and started to think while licking the lid.

Perhaps he should just submit everything.

As for how much got approved, that’d be up to the authorities.

But then again, why bother?

Knowing it can’t be sold, what’s the point in doing this?

Buzz buzz…

Just then, his phone vibrated.

Tang Rui picked it up.

It was a call from Prince Salim.

It’s been a while since they last spoke.

“Hello, Prince Salim.”

“My friend, I’m glad to hear your voice. I hope I’m not disturbing you.”

“Not at all, I’m just pondering whether to have grilled fish or sashimi tonight,” Tang Rui casually said.

You could have both,” Prince Salim immediately replied.

Good answer.

Very luxurious.

“You’re right, I might try that tonight.”

My friend, I have a matter I’d like to discuss with you.”

Go ahead, you don’t have to be formal with me.”

“Thank you for understanding. I want to know if Crimson still takes national security orders.”

Prince Salim’s question immediately piqued Tang Rui’s interest.

What did that mean?

As a highly regarded prince of the camel kingdom, he must be aware of the real situation in Sudan.

National security? That was just a cover.

But since he knows the real deal and still calls to ask about this, it means the camel kingdom has some plans.

“We do take them, but we can’t just accept any order,” Tang Rui thoughtfully replied.

“I see. Would you take an order from our camel kingdom?”

Wow.

This was really from the Middle East.

Weren’t they paying protection fees on both sides?

Why the sudden change of heart?

Starting to pick sides now?

“You have an army, and your equipment isn’t bad either. You even won

recently, why would you need it?”

Tang Rui didn’t address whether he would take the order or not.

The situation now is different from before.”

I see… I need to think about it, I’ll let you know later.”

“Alright, thank you very much, my friend.”

“Likewise. Talk to you next time, goodbye.”

After hanging up, Tang Rui called Lin Chao back.

Such matters definitely needed to be reported.

“What’s up?” Lin Chao returned, still puzzled.

“Prince Salim just called, asking if Crimson takes national security orders.”

“National security? From which country?”

“The Middle East.”

“Wait for me, I’ll report this.” Lin Chao was stunned too.

This move by the Middle East was truly unexpected.

Logically, it shouldn’t be like this.

Did they hear some rumors, or did they really decide to take a gamble and pick a side?

It was hard to understand.

Tang Rui didn’t bother to think about it further. After all, it wasn’t his concern.

Even if they took this order, it would just be under the guise of Crimson.

He wouldn’t even need to use his own official seal.

“Red Lotus, display all the company’s products. Let me see what can be simplified for external sale.”

Tang Rui continued to work on the Zhuhai Airshow issue.

Meanwhile, due to the Middle East’s signal, the higher-ups started to hold meetings to discuss the matter..
