Space Command Center.

After dinner, the Astronaut Training Center suddenly issued a gathering command.

A row of twenty-three astronauts all stood in line.

“Liu Changquan.”

“Here.”

“Zhang Qiliang.”

“Here.”

“Liu Xin.”

“Here.”

“Those whose names are called stay, the rest are dismissed.”

Swish!

Those whose names were not called all left.

Only three remained.

These three were the ones assigned to go to the moon for a mission today and were also the ones arranged to work with Feng Yuanxing.

“Next, you will embark on a top-secret mission. The military personnel will take you away shortly. You have fifteen minutes to contact your families before we disperse,” said the head of the Space Command Center to the three.

After hearing this, the three had no objections.

As soldiers, they didn’t need to know what the mission entailed, just to follow orders.

After returning.

They each made a phone call home, informing them of the mission.

Their families were understanding.

Fifteen minutes later, the trio boarded a plane and arrived at the Crimson Corporation.

Tang Rui did not show up.

It was Gao Yang who received them.

“The upcoming mission is under my charge. Do you have any questions?” Gao Yang asked the three.

“No,” they shook their heads.

“Good, follow me.”

After saying this, Gao Yang led the three onto a spacecraft. Under the control of Red Lotus, they took off slowly with optical stealth activated.

“This mission is simple. Well stay in one place, not leaving the house, without contacting the outside world, making sure no one knows we’re there, and then wait for the next order.”

“Report!”

“Speak.”

“May I ask where we will be staying?”

“Yes, our destination is Nevada, near Area 51, in a villa.”

Gao Yang then explained the specifics of the mission to them, but they found it odd.

Staying in a villa, not allowed to leave or contact the outside, and that’s it.

What kind of mission was this?

A vacation?

They were astronauts, or rather, fighter pilots. This task didn’t seem fitting for them.

Their training was more expensive than a fifth-generation fighter jet.

Their value, in gold, was more than half of the three of them combined.

Yet.

They were on a mission to the moon during the day.

And at night, they had to run to Eagle Sauce’s house.

Confusing.

After three hours of secret flight.

The spacecraft silently landed on a small farm in Nevada, unnoticed.

On opening the hatch.

Gao Yang quickly led the three into the villa on the farm.

“Password.”

The person in the villa, holding a gun, asked the three.

“Sky-Initiated Carnage,” Gao Yang said four words.

“Stars Shifting Battle,” the other put down his gun and spoke the password.

There was nothing much to say after that.

Under the other’s arrangement, Gao Yang took the three to the third floor of the villa and began to rest.

The villa lacked nothing.

Not just food and water, but even weapons and equipment were available.

But for this mission, they didn’t need to fight.

They just had to stay put and wait for the next order.

After Gao Yang and the others arrived at the mission location.

Tang Rui back home was observing the dynamics of a small asteroid, but so far, its orbit hadn’t changed.

But Tang Rui wasn’t worried.

He had means to destroy the asteroid, so he wasn’t in a hurry. If it didn’t change its orbit, he would just annihilate it.

“Red Lotus, record the situation of the asteroid, I’m going to sleep,” Tang Rui instructed, then went home.

At 3 a.m.

A new solar storm erupted.

Affected by the solar storm, the asteroid’s temperature rose again, causing an increase in its core temperature.

The internal ice crystals vaporized massively.

Boom!

At the location of the shell’s cracks, another explosion occurred.

A column of gas several hundred meters long erupted.

Affected by the strong thrust, the asteroid changed its orbit again.

But before much change could happen, steam also erupted from another side.

This brought a new balance to the asteroid’s thrust.

The two forces accelerated the asteroid again.

Red Lotus continuously monitored the asteroid. As soon as its orbit changed, it began calculations.

By the time the asteroid finished its change in trajectory, it had already calculated the new orbit.

The landing point.

Nevada.

The next day.

When Tang Rui woke up, he immediately inquired Red Lotus.

“Red Lotus, how’s the situation with the asteroid?”

“Master, affected by today’s early morning solar storm, the internal pressure of the asteroid increased, causing another eruption of steam, changing its orbit and speed.”

“Tell me directly, where’s the new landing point?”

“Nevada Area 51 farm.”

Tang Rui looked at the holographic projection map in front of him, his lips slowly curving up. Everything was as he expected.

Coincidence?

It sure was.

After all, no one could control the eruption of a solar storm.

So all this was arranged by the heavens.

“Red Lotus, how long until impact?” Tang Rui asked.

“83 hours, 21 minutes, and 17 seconds until impact.”

“Good, print out the asteroid’s orbital data and simulated impact data. Give them to me after breakfast..”
