“is this a spacecraft?”

a group of people saw the design of the 300! and were all stunned.

it was one thing for a fighter jet to look like this, but what was the use of a spacecraft being so fancy?

there was no air in outer space.

no matter how well the aerodynamics were designed, it’d be useless.

instead of designing aerodynamics, it would be better to focus on how to enhance the performance of the spacecraft.

“nowadays, our spacecrafts are too ugly, so i optimized it a bit,” tang rui casually made up a reason.

he couldn’t just say that he made the spacecraft look like this because of its appearance and interior design.

that would be asking for trouble.

everyone is considering practicality, and you are considering aesthetics; isn’t that asking for criticism?

after looking around from the outside, tang rui also explained the general performance of the spacecraft, and then they realized that it was different from what they had thought.

according to their ideas, nuclear-powered rocket engines, still using radiation to heat and expand liquid hydrogen, could not possibly allow a spacecraft to return from the moon to earth in an hour.

the nuclear-powered rocket engine that tang rui developed, however, was exactly the kind that everyone thought was impossible to achieve.

after all, the technical requirements were too demanding.

but who would have thought that it wasn’t tang rui’s technology that made a breakthrough, but the materials.

he somehow managed to use materials to build a nuclear-powered rocket that was technically unachievable.

how could that even be rationalized?

after looking outside, tang rui opened the hatch and took everyone inside to have a look.

upon entering the cabin, there was another moment of silence.

the sci-fi interior made a group of experts want to say something, but it was inappropriate.

it was definitely beautiful, but the problem was that it was not practical.

actually, china never intended to make their creations aesthetically pleasing, just like with the space station.

their space station’s interior design focused more on space efficiency.

foreign space stations gave off a claustrophobic feeling, with astronauts fainting everywhere amid the lights and cables.

although the chinese were late to the game, their design was not bad, very impressive, even.

but the problem there was…

the aerospace field’s requirements for weight were extremely strict, not tolerating any waste.

this kind of thinking and design philosophy is deeply ingrained in them, which is why they were speechless when they saw the interior design of the spacecraft.

after walking around inside, everyone returned to the meeting room.

“president tang, i saw a bathroom in the spacecraft, and i want to ask, how does the shower equipment work?”

the professor was not curious about other things, he was just curious about the bathroom in the spacecraft.

they had researched bath equipment before.

but bathing in a space station would involve solving many problems, mainly the issue of gravity, not to mention the scarcity of water resources.

so, there was no bathroom in the space station, and showering meant entering a ‘steam cage/ which was very inconvenient.

“that shower equipment… it’s just a shower.”

after tang rui thought about it, he realized that the equipment in the bathroom was just an ordinary shower, nothing high-tech.

“a shower? how do you shower in outer space?”

“i go home to shower.”

“why put a bathroom in there if you don’t shower?”

“it complements the bedroom.”

there was no point in continuing the conversation.

although tang rui was telling the truth, it was still annoying.

“mr. tang, does this spacecraft use seg units for vertical take-off and landing?” the head of the aerospace command center asked.

“yes, otherwise it wouldn’t be able to leave the atmosphere,” tang rui nodded, as the spacecraft, apart from the seg unit, was just old theories and technology piled up with materials.

so, this spacecraft, in fact, is not much different from the white emperor spacefighter, just a bit larger and with a slightly longer range.

there was no technological breakthrough.

tang rui s answer disappointed everyone.

so, they stopped asking him and began to discuss the progress of various space plans during this time.

tang rui sat in the meeting room eating melon seeds.

“the lunar network project is going smoothly, the only difficulty now is the delay issue, but that is a physical problem, not a technical one, and is hard to solve.”

professor yu talked about the lunar network project’s signal delay issue with some helplessness.

after all, it was really a limitation of physical rules.

tang rui sat next to professor yu without saying a word.

although he had developed a communication satellite with no delay, he didn’t understand the principle behind it.

thus, he couldn’t talk about it.

“i remember that a while ago, america managed to create a micro wormhole through quantum entanglement, it would be great if information could be transmitted through wormholes.”

it’s a nice thought, but if we could create wormholes, why bother with communication? direct space teleportation would be better.”

several professors casually chatted amongst each other.

but tang rui, listened quietly on the side, deep in thought.

he had previously enhanced the communication satellite, and that enhancement was called the quantum information tunnel communication system.

he hadn’t studied what this information tunnel was.

now hearing about quantum entanglement and wormholes, he had a flash of inspiration.

maybe this information really is transmitted through wormholes, as bypassing physical limitations can only be achieved through another physical rule.

whether it was true or not, he still needed to go back and study it.

thinking about it, he had many black technologies that he hadn’t studied yet.

indeed, it was a bit of a waste.

half an hour later, the meeting ended, and everyone went back to their own tasks.

tang rui talked with professor yu for a bit and then went straight home.

“red lotus, find me the paper from america about wormholes formed by quantum entanglement.”

after returning home, tang rui went to the laboratory and asked red lotus to find the paper for him to study.

“okay, master.”

soon, red lotus found the paper.

and not just one, but many related research papers and experimental reports.

tang rui began to flip through them quickly.

his basic knowledge was solid, but he had little involvement in cutting-edge research.

he even ate lunch in the lab.

from noon until evening, he skimmed through all these papers, looking over various related conjectures and theories.

after reading, he had many thoughts in his head.

“red lotus, make an experimental device, i need to observe a wormhole.”

“okay, master, it will take about two and a half hours to complete.”

this kind of device was not difficult to make, and even its principles were clearly written in the papers.

leaving it to red lotus to make, the device’s performance would be stronger than the experimental device used by others.

this way, his observation results would be more accurate.

after giving instructions, he went home to eat.

half an hour later.

after eating, tang rui returned to the laboratory, this time not to read papers, but to let red lotus project the blueprint of the quantum information tunnel communication satellite.

then, he disassembled the entire satellite model.

keeping only the components for message transmission.

tang rui quickly found what he wanted in the message transmission component, which was the information transmission and reception module.

the design diagram was in front of him.

the structure of the equipment was also in front of him.

but if you ask him what the principle of this equipment was?

he didn’t know.

“red lotus, make a device according to this component’s blueprint, but make it bigger.”

tang rui fiddled with the component model and said to red lotus.

“okay, master, it will take about three hours to complete.”

two hours later, the experimental device was completed.

wormholes could be created by everyone, but the problem was that they’d be too small; not only invisible to the naked eye, but if the equipment was slightly off, you couldn’t even capture that momentary information.

“red lotus, start the experiment..”
