Orbit airborne troops.

This army completely met Han Shu’s requirements.

However, he still had to think about how to do it. After all, this thing was not something that could be done just by patting his head.

“Understood. I already have an idea. I’ll give you the results in a while.” Tang Rui did not go into detail, but gave Han Shu an affirmative answer, indicating that there was no problem.

“Alright, I’ll wait for your news.” Han Shu did not ask further.

The two of them chatted for a while more before Han Shu went back to pack up and went for dinner together.

Tang Rui did not call many people either. He just called Lin Chao and Gao Yang, and the four of them ate a simple meal.

A few days later, Tang Rui was in the laboratory researching orbital parachuting.

There were no orbital airborne troops in reality, but he could refer to movies, games, and novels.

At present, most sci-fi fantasies were about directly launching an orbital airborne module.

There was no problem with this idea. Tang Rui could also create an orbital airborne module.

But the problem was… In a game, you didn’t have to worry about the recovery of the orbital module. In reality, you did.

It wasn’t the recovery of the orbital module, but the cost.

Each soldier was equipped with an orbital airborne module.

Good heavens.

Which country could be worthy?

Therefore, the single-person orbital airborne module design was directly rejected by Tang Rui. It couldn’t be done that way.

The second was the mecha’s orbital landing.

This thing didn’t need to be recycled, and its mobility and combat power were higher than the orbital airborne module, but the cost was also higher.

Tang Rui let Red Lotus design a simple mecha that could drop from orbit. It had a protective shield, electromagnetic anti-gravity, equipped with an electric propulsion engine, and equipped with weapons.

The cost of one set was almost eleven figures.

If the problem of price could be solved in other ways, then the problem of energy was a big one.

All the equipment on the mecha consumed a lot of electricity.

Even if he brought an extra high-energy battery pack, he wouldn’t be able to last long.

The battle lasted for fifteen minutes.

The mecha ran out of battery.

Without a small-scale nuclear fusion reactor, mechas would not be practical at all.

After Tang Rui considered everything.

He thought of a way to combine the two, which was to use a large orbital airborne capsule with an upgraded version of the individual exoskeleton armor.

A large orbital airborne module.

It could be said to be an upgraded version of the current return capsule. After the orbital drop, this airborne capsule also had the ability to bring the special forces team back to orbit.

This was not difficult. There was no need for a nuclear fusion reactor. He could just use a small fission reactor.

The electromagnetic anti-gravity coupled with 20 thousand Newtons of electric propulsion was enough to achieve this effect.

If the safety of the orbital module had been a big problem before, it would be much easier now.

With the integrated magnetic field control system, everything was no longer a problem.

The large orbital module could be equipped with an electromagnetic deflecting force field, electromagnetic anti-gravity, and even wireless charging for the nearby special forces.

Orbital landing.

He rose to the sky on the spot.

Before the enemy could react, the mission had already been completed and they had returned to Earth’s orbit.

“Red Lotus, show me the life support system, central control system, and various functional components required by the orbital airborne module.”

After Tang Rui thought of the plan, he said to Red Lotus.

“Yes, Master.”

Red Lotus immediately displayed all the models of the various equipment in front of him.

Tang Rui first put the equipment aside.

He began to design the shape and structure of the large-scale orbital airborne module.

Since the airborne capsule only needed to take off and return, the external design was very simple.

The shape of an egg would do.

After considering the problem of air resistance and direction adjustment, the design was completed very quickly.

“Red Lotus, simulate and optimize the external structure.”

After the design was completed, Tang Rui let Red Lotus help carry out the simulation and optimization, while he himself began to design the internal structure.

The internal structure was a little more troublesome.

But this trouble was only relative.

He did not need to design the internal structure bit by bit. He only needed to assemble the various accessories and equipment like building blocks.

What structural mechanics?

He didn’t need to consider it at all.

After he was done designing, Red Lotus would run simulations and perform optimization. There would definitely be no problems.

After a day’s worth of events, the design of the large-scale orbital airborne module was completed.

After many modifications and optimization, the final orbital airborne module was very different from the original design.

The shape changed from an egg to a flat echelon.

The overall length was 14.2 meters, the height was 4.5 meters, and the width was 3.2 meters above and 8.6 meters below.

The entire body was made of high-temperature, high-strength alloy, equipped with a 120-megawatt-sized nuclear fission reactor, six electric propulsion engines with a thrust of 20 kilonwtons, an integrated magnetic field control system, and two laser defense systems.

There were 16 seats inside. Excluding the 12 special forces members, there were four empty rescue seats.

These four rescue locations were isolated cabins for individual use, so there was no need to worry about overload and life-sustaining problems.

The airborne pod was taken care of.

The remaining problem of the individual exoskeleton armor was even easier to solve. There was no need to re-design it.

As long as the special forces team’s exoskeleton armor was upgraded, it would be done. It was very simple.

“Brother Han, pick a team to be the verification team for the new equipment. Send their exoskeleton armor over. I want to modify it.” Tang Rui sent a message to Han Shu.

“Alright, I’ll arrange it now. Send the equipment over later.”

After Han Shu received the news, he immediately began to choose.

There was no problem with the individual quality of the special forces squad. The difference in the level between the two special forces squads was basically negligible.

The only difference was his reaction speed.

This had nothing to do with combat quality. It was purely the difference in their brains.

Half an hour later, Tang Rui received 12 sets of exoskeleton armor.

These were all upgraded, but they had not been strengthened.

In other words, he could only simply strengthen the exoskeleton armor to achieve the effect he wanted, and it would not require many origin points.

“Red Lotus, install the power assist system on these exoskeleton armors. It’s the version that was tested previously. Inform me when the installation is complete,” Tang Rui said to Red Lotus. He didn’t even need to do this kind of thing himself. He just needed to use the system panel to add points later.

“Alright, Master. Red Lotus understands.”

Tang Rui had nothing to do again.

After resting on the sofa for a while, he remembered the chicken that Gao Yang had sent to the moon for experiments.

“Red Lotus, connect to the temporary base on the moon and see how the chicken is doing.”

“Alright, the connection is complete.”

Whoosh!

A person appeared on the holographic projection.

This person was an astronaut, one of the three people who had carried out the top-secret mission.

“What’s going on?”

After Tang Rui saw the scene in front of him, he was very puzzled.

Where was his chicken?

Why was it gone?

The astronauts in the video were cleaning up the chicken coop.

“Red Lotus, where did the chicken go?”

“Master, Red Lotus is investigating…The time of death was one hour and twenty-seven minutes ago. The cause of death is unknown.” Red Lotus replied immediately after investigating the data.

“Dead? Show me the complete data.”

“Yes, Master.”

Tang Rui frowned and looked at the data.

How could such a good chicken die just like that?

When he finished reading the data, he realized that things were not that simple.

After the chicken landed on the moon, its data was normal for the first two days, but on the third day, the data began to change.

This data change was very chaotic.

Some of the graphs rose today and fell tomorrow.

It was just like an hormonal imbalance.

Today, the egg suddenly cracked.

Why did it crack?

He did not know.

After Tang Rui finished looking at the data, he was also at a loss and could not figure it out.

“Red Lotus, contact the Space Command Center.”

“Yes, Master.”

The video call connected.

The person in charge appeared in front of him.

“President Tang, is there anything urgent?” The person in charge asked directly.

He knew that if there was nothing, Tang Rui would not contact him.

“My chicken died.” Tang Rui also said very directly.

“What do you mean?”

“The chicken is dead.”

“Was it the chicken that was sent to the moon? When did he die? He was fine yesterday.”

“I just connected to the moon and found out. He’s been dead for more than an hour.”

“I see… Let me see the situation.”

The person in charge was helpless. He had a lot of things to do in a day. How could he have the time to keep an eye on a chicken?

But Tang Rui had already sent the video over.

He definitely had to give an answer.

After asking the relevant personnel, the person in charge frowned.

He didn’t expect the chicken to behave so strangely after arriving on the moon, and it even died so suddenly.

“President Tang, I’ve already understood the situation. The specific cause of death is still unclear. I’ve already arranged for someone to contact the relevant experts. After the chicken carcass is sent down, we’ll conduct a comprehensive study.”

“Alright, I’ll go pick another chicken later and send it up tomorrow. This might be the chicken’s own problem.”

“Yes, this is indeed a problem that needs to be taken seriously.”

Neither of them cared about the chicken’s life.

What they cared about was why a chicken suddenly died on the moon and what the cause of death was.

This problem had to be clarified.

He hung up.

Tang Rui arranged for people to go catch chickens. This time, they did not go to the market, but went directly to the military’s farm to catch them.

Chickens from the market, who knew what they ate.

It was not impossible for him to die suddenly.

However, the chickens in the military farms were all natural chickens with strong vitality and combat strength.

Half an hour later, the person he sent a video.

“President Tang, which chicken do you want to catch? Here are ordinary chickens, and here are black chickens. They’re all free-range chickens.”

What?

You still need to ask me which chicken to catch?

Tang Rui was very speechless, but when he saw the chickens running all over the ground, his appetite suddenly came.

“Just catch the one with yellow feathers.” Tang Rui said after taking a glance.

“Okay, President Tang. Do you still want to grab the black chicken?”

“Catch.”

He would use this one for his experiments and catch another black chicken to make chicken soup tonight.

But when he saw the black chicken, he suddenly changed his mind.

This was because one of the black-boned chickens was mutated. Its feathers were very black, basically no different from black. Moreover, it had two white feathers on its body.

This chicken was very energetic and was jumping around.

“Catch the one that jumps the most.”

“Alright..”
