“gaoyang, with high-level authorization, is permitted to enter.”

“he yun, with temporary authorization, is permitted to enter.”

he yun was startled by the voice of red lotus, but seeing that gaoyang had no reaction, she could only follow closely behind him, heading inside.

upon reaching the laboratory door, gaoyang pressed the access control switch.

the large door of the laboratory opened.

“mr. tang, the reporter he from cctv has been brought back,” gaoyang reported to tang rui upon entering the laboratory.

“okay, brother yang, take a seat for a moment, there’s something for you to do later,” tang rui nodded and said to gaoyang.

“okay.” gaoyang found a chair and sat down casually.

tang rui looked at he yun. how to put it?

prettier than bingbing but not nearly as cute.

“please take a seat, reporter he. don’t be too formal.”

“thank you, mr. tang. my name is he yun, and i am a reporter from cctv.”

“yes, i am well aware of your information, and i am very satisfied with your professional capabilities. however, this mission is a bit special, so i want to ask, do you have a fear of deep space?”

tang rui asked this question as it’s something that cannot be ascertained from a file, it must be asked directly.

“no,” he yun shook her head.

“what about claustrophobia? if you were to stay alone in a closed and silent space, how long could you endure?”

upon hearing this question, he yun suddenly had a bad premonition.

but she did not back down, instead, after thinking, she said, “i don’t have claustrophobia, but i’m not sure how long i could last in a silent and enclosed environment.”

“i see, then let’s test it, what do you think?”

“okay.”

tang rui nodded, appreciating the character of reporter he.

“brother yang, take reporter he to the sky, let her experience it firsthand,” he said to gaoyang.

“okay, reporter he, follow me.”

“oh… okay.”

he yun entered in a daze and left in a daze.

to the sky?

which sky?

he yun, confused, followed gaoyang onto the spacecraft.

several minutes later, she finally understood what going to the sky meant – it was literal.

as the spacecraft left earth’s orbit with its tail pointed towards earth.

at this moment, even through the porthole, only the infinite void of the universe could be seen, but neither earth nor the moon were visible.

“reporter he, how do you feel? are you uncomfortable anywhere?” gaoyang floated over to he yun and asked.

“there’s no physical discomfort, just a bit unbelievable.” he yun’s head was buzzing.

from getting off the plane to now, her mind had never been normal.

“here are some related materials, you can take a look at them, these two tubes are your dinner for tonight, you can take them out and have a look later to pass the time. next is the formal test, if you feel panic or anxiety, you can call me, but that means you fail.”

gaoyang handed he yun two things, a set of materials and dinner, then led her to the restroom.

after he yun entered, the door of the restroom closed.

at this moment, the surroundings became quiet, and outside the window was a void of the universe.

after he yun entered, she took a while to recover.

she didn’t know the current time, nor did she know her location.

all she could do now was to read the materials and numb her senses with work.

gaoyang, outside, took out his phone and continued playing games.

others may not get a mobile signal in outer space but that wasn’t the case with tang rui’s equipment; even on the moon and mars, one could still play games on their phone.

after an unknown amount of time, he yun had finished reading the materials, even memorizing the contents but she couldn’t feel any changes from the outside world.

the stars outside the porthole remained unchanged and so did the lights in the room.

her perception of the outside world was beginning to get slightly confused.

luckily, she got hungry at this point.

she took out the tube that resembled toothpaste for dinner, opened it, and squeezed it into her mouth. the taste couldn’t be said to be bad, just very average.

after eating, she leaned against the porthole, watching the sea of stars outside.

the more she watched, the more lost in thought she became.

after a long time, he yun’s psychological state began to change, and she felt an inexplicable panic and oppression.

but she was still able to overcome these feelings.

however, the inability to sleep made her very uncomfortable.

after enduring for an unknown amount of time.

time seemed to have no change.

she needed to use the restroom.

how to handle this?

“major gaoyang?” having no choice, he yun had to speak up.

“i’m here.”

hearing he yun’s call, gaoyang opened the door of the restroom.

this was also not up to standard.

according to tang rui, it wasn’t necessary to endure for too long, but 12 hours should be the minimum.

but it had only been six hours, and she couldn’t hold on anymore.

it seemed they needed to change the person.

“i want to ask, how do you use the restroom in space?” he yun said to gaoyang, with no expression of shyness.

this was a physiological issue, not because she couldn’t hold on.

“this…”

gaoyang was stunned upon hearing this question.

this…

this issue hadn’t been considered.

“sorry, we did not consider this thoroughly. i will return now.”

after saying this, gaoyang led her to the cockpit, asking her to buckle up.

then he had red lotus control the spacecraft to return.

“what? how to use the restroom?”

tang rui, lying on the couch playing with his phone, was also stunned upon receiving red lotus’s report.

right.

he hadn’t considered this issue.

gaoyang’s special combat armor had these functions built-in.

so he had forgotten about it.

“red lotus, according to the data, make a nano load-bearing suit and a space combat armor.”

“okay, master, i understand.”

the next day, gaoyang, with he yun now wearing a nano load-bearing suit, returned to space again, this time they stayed in space for 22 hours.

this already met tang rui’s requirements.

but there was still time.

they could go to space for a longer time, to get accustomed to it.

and so, gaoyang and he yun, every day, rode the spacecraft to outer space to adapt to the environment.

a man and a woman in a closed environment.

dopamine, in such situations, always secreted a bit more.

so, one day, red lotus reported to tang rui, saying that gaoyang’s hormonal reactions were abnormal, with a rapid increase in heart rate, which initially scared tang rui, thinking something had happened to gaoyang.

after checking the spacecraft’s surveillance.

well… it was gaoyang and he yun who, in a weightless situation, bumped into each other.

tang rui immediately closed the surveillance.

then he told red lotus to record these bodily reactions as mating, not injury or abnormality.

time slowly passed.

soon, the day arrived when the americans launched the moon landing return capsule. they had planned for this day for a long time.

what constellation project?

what fake manned lunar flight?

in short, they had made many real and fake plans, but there was no major movement.

this time, they were really going to return to the moon.

major media from all over the world broadcasted this moon landing by eagle sauce, as it was also a major event for all humanity.

after decades, humanity had returned to the moon once again.

cctv had bought the broadcasting rights long ago, so cctv’s reporters went directly to eagle sauce’s space launch center to shoot the rocket launch.

“hello, viewers, behind me is the kennedy space center, that rocket standing up, is about to launch…”

the field reporter from cctv reported directly from outside the space center, allowing viewers to clearly see the rocket behind her.

a few minutes later, three astronauts walked out from nasa’s building, waving to the people around and accepting interviews from reporters.

however, our cctv reporter was on the outermost circle, without interview rights, only able to watch from behind.

seeing this, tang rui narrowed his eyes.

“brother yang, are you ready?”

“we are ready.”

“good, then you go ahead, wait for them at the carmen line. their flight trajectory has already been calculated by red lotus.”

“understood.”

after saying this, gaoyang took he yun onto the spacecraft.

at this time, the spacecraft’s appearance hadn’t changed, but its livery had changed dramatically. on the wings, the letters cctv glittered..
