astronauts to encounter anything bad in outer space, do you?

“the americans are well-prepared this time.”

“just listen, they’ve been boasting for years. although there’s some action now, it’s hard to say what it will amount to.”

“i don’t care whether america’s moon landing plan is just hot air. i just want to know how our manned moon landing plan is progressing.”

before the rocket launch, the webcast room of the broadcast studio was filled with rolling comments from netizens.

all kinds of comments were being made.

but most people were just there for the spectacle. they were more interested in watching their own manned moon spacecraft take off.

after a while, the director switched the camera back to the field host.

at this time, three american astronauts had already boarded the spacecraft, and the rocket was about to launch.

“the audience is curious about the white smoke emitted by the rocket. actually, those are from the low-temperature storage tanks, condensing the surrounding water vapor to form a mist.

“it’s like the white mist around ice cream when you eat it in summer.

“okay, the countdown has begun, and the rocket is about to launch.”

the field host stopped speaking, and the camera was focused on the rocket that was about to launch.

“launch!”

with the countdown ending, the rocket engines ignited.

boom!

three heavy rocket engines ignited.

the massive thrust supported the rocket’s takeoff, with white smoke billowing beneath the launch pad.

the rocket’s speed increased.

the camera’s tracking view became increasingly blurred.

when the rocket turned into a dot and disappeared into the sky, the director switched the scene.

“what a pity, no explosion.”

“boring, no fireworks.”

“that’s the end of the excitement, back to regular programming. nothing interesting.”

just as everyone was preparing to leave, the host in the broadcast studio spoke. “okay, the rocket has been launched. now, let’s turn to our second field host, who will continue to live broadcast america’s moon landing. welcome he yun.” the director switched the camera, splitting the studio’s screen in half, showing the interior of the spacecraft on one side and the studio on the other.

“hello, audience friends, i’m he yun from cctv. i’m currently too kilometers above the earth’s surface, which is the karman line.

“next, i will be live broadcasting for you. alright, the american rocket has completed its third stage separation. let’s follow and take a look at their return capsule.”

after he yun finished speaking with a smile, she signaled to gao yang to adjust the camera, pointing it outside.

they were in front of a huge floor-to-ceiling window of the space shuttle, which provided a clear view of outer space.

the two were broadcasting from this location.

as gao yang adjusted the camera angle, the american return capsule appeared in the audience’s view.

“damn!”

“damn!”

“damn… this is going to be big.”

“no wonder they were live broadcasting america’s moon landing. they were waiting for this moment.”

the audience members who hadn’t left yet were all stunned.

this was far beyond their imagination.

watching the live broadcast with clear images and tracking shots from all angles.

they were all a bit overwhelmed.

after a moment of shock, everyone began to call their friends.

it was a joke.

before, they just wanted to see if america’s rocket would explode. now, they wanted to know how long the live broadcast would last, and if they could follow the footage all the way to the moon.

if that was really possible.

that would be exciting.

suddenly, the number of people in the live broadcast room began to skyrocket.

at the same time, inside nasa’s space command center, everyone was dumbfounded.

the astronauts reported, “there’s a plane following us, flying around us.” “a plane? is it the red company’s aerospace fighter?” asked the head of nasa. according to the astronauts’ report, the only plane that could reach outer space was crimson corporation’s white emperor spacefighter.

astronaut: “it’s not a fighter, i saw the letters on the outside of the plane, it says cctv.”

“…” the head of nasa was baffled.

crimson’s logo was not letters.

but what was this cctv?

“director, look at this video.”

at this time, a nasa employee took out a phone and handed it to the director to show him the content.

a moon landing live broadcast?

seeing the title of the live broadcast room, he didn’t feel anything wrong.

but when he saw the content of the live broadcast, he was stunned. it was their return capsule.

how could it be filmed from top to bottom, left to right, in various styles?

“what kind of live broadcast is this?”

“it’s cctv’s live broadcast.”

“whose live broadcast it is, tell them to stop immediately, right now, or don’t blame me for being rude.”

“that director, we have a contract.”

“what contract?”

“the live broadcast contract.”

when the director learned that cctv’s abbreviation was indeed cctv, he was filled with confusion.

he had thought the 5 million paid for the live broadcast rights was a great deal at the time.

but now, he felt the money was a bit hot to handle.

he knew about the live broadcast.

but he didn’t expect the other party’s live broadcast to be like this.

“director, the return capsule has reached the designated orbit, should we dock?” a staff member asked.

docking?

of course, they should dock.

could it be that the astronauts should return directly in their space suits? that would be a joke.

but the problem was, if they docked now, someone would be filming next to them.

who knows how many people are watching online.

this…

after a long moment, the director said helplessly, “start docking.”

elsewhere, inside the space shuttle, gao yang held the camera, focusing on the docking point between the return capsule and the moon spacecraft, zooming in for a close shot.

next to him, he yun began to explain.

“dear viewers, the return capsule is about to dock with the moon spacecraft. this step is highly technical.

“we can now see that the distance between them is very close, which is the most dangerous moment for docking. because both are moving at high speeds, any mistake in docking would have terrible consequences.

“the docking has started, very accurate, in at once. alright, now the two are tightly connected.”

he yun explained the situation outside, but the numerous netizens in the live broadcast room were all puzzled.

“is it me who’s mistaken, or is there something wrong with this commentary?”

“don’t think too much, it’s definitely you who’s mistaken. the commentary is flawless, both are moving very fast, and any misinsertion would be very dangerous, directly cutting it off.”

“the one above, you also seem off.”

the netizens’ ability to deviate from the topic was still very strong.

but this did not affect the live broadcast.

as the docking completed, the three astronauts in the return capsule moved through the cabin into the moon spacecraft.

the moon spacecraft was actually a small modular space station, each part equipped with many supplies.

america’s preparation this time was very thorough.

in the laboratory, tang rui received a video call from lin chao.

“brother lin, what’s up?”

“director tang, the higher-ups want to know what you’re going to do next?”

“just follow the contract, live broadcast america’s moon landing.”

“the whole process?”

“yes, the whole process, from their ascent to their return to earth, i want to live broadcast everything.”

“that… the americans want to breach the contract.”

“breach the contract? tell this to the americans: you don’t want anything bad to happen to those three astronauts in outer space, right?”
