“there’s a special situation now. tang rui wants to change the location of the live ammunition test to the middle east. what do you think?”

everyone in the meeting room was stunned when they heard that.

what they were discussing in the meeting was the drone manufactured by tang rui.

because the military had a top-secret plan. it was called the loyal wingman project.

perhaps many people had heard of this plan, but no one had seen what kind of drone this so-called “loyal wingman” was.

according to the military’s original plan, he wanted to give the fifth-generation fighter, the j-20, a few drones as wingmen. the newly modified two-seater j-20 was changed specifically for this plan.

however, the problem was that this plan did not go very smoothly. the wingman did not meet the requirements.

one of the most crucial problems was the problem of following the flight. for example, two drones as wingmen had to follow the j-20.

if the j-20 maneuvered during the flight, would the drone follow?

the drone did not follow.

the j-20 made an s maneuver and turned around. the drone was still flying forward foolishly.

alright. do as he was told. then, the problem came.

different models, different flight envelopes, and different aero structures.

the same maneuver, due to various differences, had different effects.

if the j-20 made a few maneuvers in a row, the drone’s wingman would follow suit and stall.

this was no joke.

and now, they suddenly discovered that this supersonic stealth scouting and attacking drone that tang rui made was very suitable for the loyal wingman plan.

stealth performance was not a problem. it would not expose the target and drag down the j-20.

there was no problem with the engine power. it could completely keep up with the supersonic cruise of the j-20.

the bomb load, range, maximum altitude, and other parameters were all fine.

even the most important thing, flying, was not a problem at all.

in the end, tang rui wanted to play tricks.

he even went to the middle east to shoot with live ammunition, wouldn’t that be a joke?

“i don’t agree. if something happens to the drone over there and it’s discovered or shot down, our plan will be put on hold.”

“that’s right. the loyal wingman plan is one of the most important plans for our air force in the next phase. we can’t lose the big one because of the small one.”

“i think we can give it a try. after all, they’re a private company.”

“it’s not safe. it’s better not to get involved.”

many big shots in the conference room expressed their opinions one after another.

most people did not agree with tang rui’s risky behavior because it was not worth it.

after listening to everyone’s opinions, the bureau chief nodded and said, “i just want to say one thing. if a drone that can even cause problems when fighting a houthi weapon is qualified to be a loyal wingman?”

five minutes later, tang rui received a new notification on his tactical tablet.

deepred corporation’s drones were allowed to carry out live ammunition shooting.

it was just this piece of news, nothing else. he understood.

tang rui jumped up excitedly.

the bureau chief was really awesome. he actually agreed to such a ridiculous request.

at the end of this message, there was a hint that told him to communicate with the locals before the shooting.

communicate with the locals?

how was he supposed to communicate?

should 1 contact the middle easterners and tell them that i’m going to their house to help them fight?

it was impossible.

wasn’t this a slap to thier faces?

if they couldn’t communicate through formal channels, what should they do?

since the higher-ups had given him a hint.

there had to be an explanation.

middle easterner?

yes.

prince salim.

this was the only high-ranking member of middle east delegation that he knew.

although there were more princes on the middle east’s side, salim should be…

there were more princes.

“comrade tang rui, may i ask what ammunition do you want to mount?”

at this moment, someone from the airport ground service ran over and asked him what ammunition he needed.

what else was there to say? make it big.

“leader, do you have any fuel-air explosives?”

tang rui asked expectantly.

“no, i don’t.”

the logistics supervisor replied speechlessly.

“then switch to precision-guided missiles.”

“alright.”

it was a no-nonsense affair. the people from the ground service department quickly pushed the ammunition out and hung it in the built-in magazine of the drone according to the actual combat requirements.

at the same time, the fuel truck drove over and refilled the two drones.

previously, he had only increased it by half. now, he had to fill it all up.

taking advantage of this time, tang rui gave prince salim a call.

“hello prince salim, i am tang rui from deepred corporation.”

“hello, my friend. what’s the matter?”

“there’s one thing. my employee is trapped by the houthi armed forces, and his life is in danger.

1 want to arrange for a stealth drone to go over and eliminate the houthis there, so…”

“really? friend, if you can really do it, you can name the price.”

“no, i didn’t solve it. it was the secret troops sent by his highness who took care of houthi armed forces and rescued my employees, right?”

“all, right, right, right. that’s right. what should i do? should i send out the air force?”

“there’s no need. 1 want to know if you have enough a-300 long-range rocket launchers from our country.”

“yes, i can mobilize ten sets now. if you give me some time, 1 can mobilize twenty.”

“ten sets are enough. i hope your highness can bring out these ten sets of a-300 rocket launchers and send them to warm up. then, wait for my news.”

“no problem. i’ll get someone to do it now and wait for your news, my friend.”

he hung up the phone.

tang rui sat in front of the laptop and sent a message to feng yuanxing.

“don’t worry, i’ve got it all arranged. listen to my instructions later.”

after sending the message, he adjusted the screen to the drone operating system interface.

“ammo loaded.”

“fueling complete.”

“runway cleared.”

the ground crew sent news that everything was ready before take-off.

“fish pond to tower.”

“tower here. please go ahead.”

“fish pond requesting take off.”

“you are permitted to take off.”

tang rui gunned the throttle, put down the brakes, and let the drone glide on the runway.

a hundred meters later.

two fully loaded drones ascended into the sky.

closing the longbo lens.

the signals of the two drones disappeared from the radar.

climbing.

he continued to climb.

the drone only changed to level flight when it reached an altitude of 22000 meters.

on the other side, after feng yuanxing saw the message sent by tang rui, he was dumbfounded.

president tang, stop fooling around at a time like this.

how could you command them from tens of thousands of kilometers?

micro-control?

1 don’t have a machine gun position here. 1 don’t have the advantage. there was really no need.

boom!

the sound of gunfire could be heard from outside.

the tank was only three streets away from them..
