when tang rui got up the next morning, li shuyao was still sleeping.

“i’m going to work,” tang rui announced.

li shuyao turned over in a daze and ignored him.

tang rui finished his morning routine, changed his clothes, picked up the white shirt from the ground, threw it into the washing machine, and then headed out.

amid his journey…

he drove while lost in thought.

however, there was nothing to hide.

that white shirt was really eye-catching.

soon after, tang rui arrived at the company.

as soon as he entered, he resumed assembling the drones.

in the blink of an eye, a day had passed.

when tang rui returned home that night, he found li shuyao waiting for him on the sofa.

“you’re back. wash your hands and eat. i’ve prepared dinner.”

“i’m not hungry.”

“hmm?”

“i’m really upset right now.”

tang rui didn’t say anything more. he simply carried li shuyao upstairs.

the following period saw tang rui occupied with work during the day and night.

his body was starting to show signs of fatigue.

he had already made up his mind to complete the order for the integrated platform for the vehicle fire-fighting drones as soon as the drones were ready.

this order would not only bring in money but also earn him hundreds of origin points.

with those points, he wouldn’t have to worry about a shortage anymore.

he could then invest in a body-strengthening machine to improve his physical fitness.

on one particular day, tang rui was testing the nearly assembled drone.

“president tang, the engine parts have arrived,” lin chao announced from the door.

“great,” tang rui replied.

tang rui stepped out of the assembly shop and entered his office.

two individuals were waiting for him there.

“mr. tang rui, please confirm the supplies and then sign for them,” one of them requested.

“okay, where are they?”

“please follow me.”

as they reached the courtyard outside, a military heavy truck was parked at the entrance.

several large boxes were placed beside it.

tang rui opened one of the boxes and inspected its contents.

they were all engine parts, including the casing, turbine, and blades.

the engine was delivered in pieces because the blueprints he provided were incomplete and divided into three parts.

“the items are in good condition. where should i sign?” tang rui asked after examining them thoroughly.

“please sign here.”

the individual presented a tablet computer and activated the face recognition function, allowing tang rui to sign under the camera.

once he completed the signing, the individuals departed.

“men, carry these items inside,” tang rui directed his team.

the drone was nearly assembled, with only the engine installation and exterior painting remaining. the internal components were already in place.

it had been a fast process.

starting from national day, only eleven days had passed.

“president tang, cetc contacted me to inquire about the status of our equipment delivery,” lin chao interrupted tang rui as he was about to start engine installation.

“when are they expecting us to send it? weren’t we given six months to fulfill the order? it hasn’t even been a month yet, and they’re requesting delivery?” tang rui inquired with surprise.

“they aren’t asking for our equipment. the cetc is sending a batch of equipment to the middle east next week. they wanted to know if we’ve completed their order so they can send it with their shipment. if we haven’t, they’ll wait for two months and send it in the next batch,” lin chao explained.

“i see,” tang rui said, understanding the situation.

he decided to send this batch of orders to the middle east first since they were willing to pay promptly.

they were running on a tight schedule, and any delays could be detrimental.

the fire-fighting drones were also ready.

tang rui, accompanied by flight designers, began assembling the large drones.

meanwhile, a few personnel in the machinery and materials laboratory were assembling the fire drones.

they weren’t equipped to handle the high-end large drones, so they helped with the lower-end fire drones instead.

they had already completed the production of all the fire drones three days ago.

next, they only needed to attach the launch platform to the vehicles and install the simulation system to complete the vehicle platform.

they would be able to assemble 40 sets of vehicle platforms within five days, just in time for the cetc upcoming shipment.

“alright, contact cetc. our equipment can be sent over before next week,” tang rui instructed lin chao.

“understood, 1’11 contact them right away.”

lin chao left to make the call.

back in the assembly shop.

“continue checking the equipment and sensors, and send me the data tonight,” tang rui instructed his team.

afterward, he returned to assembling the vehicle fire drone integrated platform.

“do you need our assistance, boss?” one of his team members asked.

“no, you guys can focus on other tasks,” tang rui replied. he was determined to maximize his origin points, and he didn’t need any help with this particular task.

“alright, just let us know if you need anything.”

with that, tang rui sent the team members away, closed the door, and resumed his work.

assembling the vehicle platform was monotonous and not particularly enjoyable, but the origin points he gained were well worth it.

he could accumulate over 100 points per day, regardless of how tedious the work was.

when he finished assembling the final vehicle platform and saw 757.28 points on the system panel, he felt that all his efforts had paid off.

now, he didn’t need to worry about the remaining tasks.

lin chao would take care of everything, so tang rui could focus on assembling the drone.

only the engine assembly remained.

given its precision requirements, tang rui chose to do it himself.

with the assistance of a mechanical arm, it took him three days to complete the engine assembly.

just as he was preparing to conduct the test flight, lin chao rushed over to find him.

“president tang, the middle east has requested that we send an instructor,” lin chao informed him.

“an instructor?” tang rui was surprised.

did they really need an instructor for a fire-fighting drone?

“yes, the middle east is offering additional subsidies, but they insist on us sending someone to provide guidance,” lin chao explained.

whoever had the moolah was always in the right.

tang rui thought for a moment, pondering who to send from his team.

“old feng, come with me,” he finally decided..
