“after dinner in the evening, tang rui sent a message to li shuyao, saying that he had something to do tonight and wouldn’t be exercising.

then he went down to the basement and started working.

“celia, place the aluminum alloy sheet on the cutting platform.”

tang rui sat in a chair, giving orders to celia.

“okay.”

celia received the command and immediately controlled the basement’s mechanical arm. it moved along the track to the entrance, picked up the aluminum alloy sheet from the ground, and placed it on the cutting platform.

“leave one aluminum alloy sheet, and put the rest aside.”

“okay.”

the mechanical arm continued its work, taking down the aluminum alloy sheets.

tang rui scratched his head, somewhat helpless.

it had been so long.

how come they still couldn’t understand human speech?

if it were a human, they definitely wouldn’t do something so foolish.

suddenly placing so many aluminum alloy sheets on the cutting platform, how can they be cut?

soon enough, on the cutting platform, only one piece of aluminum alloy sheet remained.

“celia, cut the aluminum alloy sheet according to the structure of the fire-fighting drone.”

“okay, cutting in progress.”

squeak…

under celia’s control, the laser cutting device began to cut the aluminum alloy sheet.

in less than a minute, the aluminum alloy sheet was completely cut, and the positions that needed holes were also punched.

“celia, perform stamping and welding on the cut aluminum alloy sheet.”

“okay.”

the mechanical arm picked up the aluminum alloy sheet and moved to the stamping machine, where it began stamping.

after that, it was placed on the workbench and moved to the welding robot for welding.

hiss…

after a few flashes, the body of the fire-fighting drone was fully welded.

tang rui ran over, took a glance at the welding joint, and then turned and walked away.

he had been welding for half a month.

still, he couldn’t achieve the same effect that the welding robot could in 30 seconds.

no meaningful comparison could be made.

he was dining on wisdom; it was different.

“celia, install the internal components.”

“okay.”

the mechanical arm, with a laser scanner, approached a pile of components.

the laser scanner started working.

facing various components, it began scanning.

the three-dimensional model obtained from the scan would be compared with the component models on the drawings in real-time.

once compared, the mechanical arm began picking up components and placing them in the toolbox beside it.

this step would take a bit of time.

even for artificial intelligence, the process of modeling and analytical comparison required time, just as it would for a human.

tang rui wasn’t bothered though.

as long as there are no errors, it’s fine.

an hour and twenty minutes later, celia finally completed the analysis and comparison of all components, identifying all the parts needed for a fire-fighting drone—not an easy feat.

but the speed would pick up from here.

the three robotic arms simultaneously started installing the components, and the holes in the body had already been prepared.

so, the installation process was straightforward.

under celia’s control, the installation of the components proceeded quickly.

in less than twenty minutes, all internal components of the fire-fighting drone were installed. not to mention the external wings, those were done in just a few moments.

“celia, connect the data cable and import the specialized system for the fire-fighting drone.”

“okay.”

tang rui glanced at the time on his wristband.

from the moment of cutting the aluminum alloy sheet until now, a total of 2 hours and 8 minutes had passed.

once the data was imported, the fire-fighting drone would be complete.

by this calculation, the daily production capacity would only amount to 12 drones.

however, in reality, celia could manufacture over 40 fire-fighting drones in a single day.

this was because the step of scanning the components in 3d could be eliminated.

the model was already in the database.

celia had memorized the component details, so a second scan was unnecessary.

in other words, celia could manufacture a fire-fighting drone in just over 30 minutes.

in a little over two days, 100 fire-fighting drones could be produced.

“data import complete.”

after unplugging the data cable, celia prompted tang rui.

“put on the cover and then bring it over for me to inspect.”

tang rui wanted to see if there were any assembly issues with celia’s work.

as the robotic arm moved towards him and presented the fire-fighting drone with its cover, a faint light suddenly flickered.

hmm?

light?

tang rui’s attention was instantly piqued.

as the robotic arm approached, he focused on the fire-fighting drone.

[item: patrol missile]

[experience: 0/500]

[origin points: 61.82]

as expected, there was a system panel; he hadn’t been mistaken.

but the next moment, he frowned.

because he noticed that the origin points hadn’t increased.

when he had disassembled and reassembled all the equipment in the basement before, his origin points had increased to 61.82.

now, he had built another fire-fighting drone, yet the origin points remained unchanged.

this meant that the increase in origin points had to come from items he personally assembled.

as for why he had a system panel but wasn’t gaining origin points, tang rui felt it might be related to the manufacturing equipment.

all the equipment used to make this fire-fighting drone had been disassembled and reassembled by him, and they had system panels.

so, the fire-fighting drone produced by celia using this equipment also had a system panel.

there was only this possibility for now.

“a bit of a pity.”

tang rui thought that if the items made by celia could also earn him origin points, it would be great.

then he could open a machinery factory and sell things at a loss.

he wasn’t interested in anything else; he just wanted origin points.

with enough origin points, he could upgrade an airplane to a spacecraft in no time.

unfortunately, the system didn’t have this loophole; it was a bit of a shame.

“celia, continue manufacturing fire-fighting drones.”

“okay.”

upon receiving the command, celia controlled the robotic arms to start working.

this time, the process went much smoother.

inside celia’s system, there was already a production process for the fire-fighting drone.

it would replicate this process and streamline unnecessary steps.

the second fire-fighting drone was completed in 34 minutes and 6 seconds.

the third took 33 minutes and 57 seconds.

the fourth took 33 minutes and 39 seconds.

the decreasing times showed that celia was steadily improving.

however, there were limits to this improvement.

after eliminating all the cumbersome steps, the speed of production reached its limit.

tang rui didn’t continue watching.

he returned to his room, put on the subconscious learning device, and went to sleep.

after all, celia could handle it on its own.

even if any special circumstances arose, celia wouldn’t foolishly mess things up.

as an al, it possessed a certain level of fuzzy judgment.

compared to al like the floor-cleaning robots, it was much more advanced.

this was the true representation of intelligent industry.

each step required programmed control in a streamlined process. that’s what intelligent industry was all about..”
