three days later, recruit training ground.

tang rui and lin chao stood at the entrance of the training camp, preparing to welcome the higher-ups.

a private company also had a superior?

if it was a normal private company, there wouldn’t be any higher-ups. they just had to abide by the rules and regulations.

however, the military industry was different.

even if it was private, it’d be limited.

for example, you could produce bullets, but it was not something that could be produced as much as you wanted.

needless to say, what tang rui manufactured was a super supersonic stealth scouting and attacking drone, this kind of big ldlling weapon.

perhaps in many people’s minds, drones were all cheap things.

even large drones were not worth much and were not considered top-notch equipment.

this was indeed a fundamentally flawed idea was.

not to mention this kind of black technology drone made by tang rui.

even if it did not have supersonic cruising ability, its close combat ability was trash, and its bomb payload was less than 1.5 tons.

the us sold 30 of them to india for 3 billion dollars.

on average, it was too million dollars per aircraft.

although this price was caused by many factors, you had to admit that high-end drones were still very expensive.

“don’t be distracted. he’s here.”

lin chao said to the distracted tang rui. he came back to his senses.

tang rui looked at coster who was heading toward them and hurriedly tidied up his clothes, rousing his spirits.

coster stopped.

the first to get out of the car was a chief of the air force with a golden star on his shoulder.

next were a few professors from the military research institute, all of whom were at least level four.

a group of seven or eight people got out of the car.

“hello, chief,” lin chao saluted and said loudly.

“hello, little lin, right?”

the bureau chief returned the greeting and said.

“yes, chief.”

“alright, this handsome young man is student tang rui, right?”

the bureau chief looked at tang rui and said with a smile.

“hello, chief. i’m tang rui. just call me little tang.”

“don’t be nervous. i’ve heard of your name like thunder. i just happened to have the opportunity this time, so i came over to take a look.”

“i’m young and insensible. i’ve made the chiefs worry.”

“we can’t wait to have a few more people like you who make us worry.”

after an exchange of a few polite words, everyone came to the hangar and looked at the two drones on the field.

at first sight of the drone, only one word was uttered: beautiful.

appearance was combat power.

this was definitely true for the air force.

“lil tang, why is one of your drones above and the other below?” a professor asked.

“these two are both verification planes. 1 wanted to see which of the two air intakes was better, so i got one each,” tang rui said casually.

after the professors heard this, they only had one feeling, and that was that he was rich.

when their research institute encountered such design problems, they would at most create a model and use it to simulate.

it was impossible to build two real prototypes.

how much money would he have to spend?

“how much does this one cost?”

a professor asked curiously.

“i forgot. 1 think 1 spent a total of 183 million.”

tang rui really didn’t remember. he only remembered the total price, how much the individual equipment cost, and how much a drone cost. he just took a look and didn’t take it to heart.

the professor smacked his lips and said nothing.

“lil tang, what are the performance parameters of this drone?”

the bureau chief walked around the drone and asked him.

“theoretically, the maximum velocity is mach 8, the maximum altitude is 35,000 meters, the maximum cruising range is 12000 kilometers, the maximum take-off weight is 12.5 tons, the maximum bomb load is 3.5 tons, and the fuel load is 4.5 tons,” tang rui said simply.

however, he felt that the drone that had not been strengthened by the system panel could only fly at mach 6.5-6.8 at most.

on the other hand, the drone that he had enhanced would definitely have no problem flying at mach 8. he could even try flying at mach 10.

“really?”

when the bureau chief heard this, his eyes widened.

as a high-ranking military officer, he knew the performance of the air force’s equipment too well.

just these parameters that tang rui casually popped out really had the suspicion of bragging.

moreover, he was bragging very loudly.

“when can we test it?”

“right now.”

“then let’s try it with a real knife and gun.”

the bureau chief was a little impatient.

if the performance of these two drones was really the same as the parameters that tang rui said.

that was simply…

it didn’t even need to be the same.

as long as it could reach two-thirds or even half of its performance, it would be great news.

not to mention the variable cycle engine that they had been paying attention to before.

tang rui nodded after listening, sat in front of the computer screen, and began to operate the drone.

engine warm-up.

system self-check.

after doing all this, he turned on the communication system and began to call the tower.

“good day, tower, this is fish pond.”

“tower to fish pond. please go ahead.”

“fish pond requesting take off.”

“you are permitted to take off.”

tang rui pushed the throttle, put down the brakes, and gripped the control stick tightly.

the two drones began to glide at the same time.

that’s right.

there were two drones.

tang rui controlled one, and the system automatically followed the other.

it was equivalent to a fully automatic wingman.

everyone present widened their eyes in surprise when they saw this scene, especially the military experts.

they were more aware of the complexity of this than anyone else, because the military was currently organizing scientific research forces to tackle the technical problems of unmanned wingmen.

unexpectedly, they actually saw this kind of technique here, from tang rui.

however, they didn’t say anything.

after all, the real technical difficulty of an unmanned wingman was not the take-off of two planes, but how to achieve trajectory synchronization in flight.

after the two drones sided for more than a hundred meters, they raised their heads at the same time and soared into the sky.

tang rui tapped on the keyboard.

he put away the landing gear of the drone and opened the longbo lens.

“tower to fish pond.”

“go ahead, tower.”

“the radar has captured your signal. next, please increase your flight altitude to 15000 and fly along the flight route to the test flight area.”

“increasing altitude, fish pond out.”

the drone controlled by tang rui rose up obediently and then flew according to the route planned in advance.

ten minutes later, the two drones arrived at the test flight airspace.

there was a mountain range below them. no one lived there. the only place with people was the radar station on the top of the mountain.

next, he could control the drone to his heart s content and fly in this test flight airspace.

as long as one didn’t fly out of it, one could fly however he wanted, even he you wanted to crash.

“lil tang, do you know how to maneuver?”

the bureau chief asked when he saw that the drone had reached the test flight area.

“i know a little,” tang rui said modestly.

“alright, then let’s do some simple flight movements first to test the performance of the drone.”

“alright.”

tang rui pulled the control stick and began to put the drone into a roll.

the bureau chief standing behind tang rui looked at his operation and nodded in satisfaction..
