God's Imitator

Soon, the 15 minutes of preparation time ended.

However, many communities were still discussing internally, because players needed to enter rooms in order, and players who hadn’t entered rooms yet could still continue communicating.

The preparation time was too short. Many communities’ strategies hadn’t been fully laid out yet, and they could only continue racing against time to seize the last bit of time.

A new broadcast appeared on the large screen.

[Now please have players choose rooms in order according to their number cards.]

[After selecting a room, please immediately enter the room and sit in your assigned cubicle. You may not leave the cubicle before the game ends.]

[After all rooms are full, the game will officially begin.]

[Now, please have player number 1 choose a room.]

Wang Weidong from Community 15, holding number card 1, chose to enter the ’13-person room’.

This also meant he would automatically become the room owner of this room.On the sign next to the door, one of the human-shaped lights in the first row lit up, meaning one player had already entered this room, but the lights in the second row representing free persons didn’t light up.

Because players couldn’t simultaneously serve as both room owner and free person and would automatically lose their free person status, Wang Weidong of course wouldn’t be stupid enough to give himself the free person identity.

Cai Zhiyuan had already learned about the situation earlier. Wang Weidong had been assigned to the same room as Yang Yuting.

Although it wasn’t clear what the specific earnings were, they should be quite good.

Wang Weidong hadn’t chosen to exchange for later number cards with players from the same community like Cai Zhiyuan did, but instead chose to personally serve as room owner himself.

Both methods had their pros and cons.

The advantage of serving as room owner was being able to modify rules and adapt according to the room’s situation at any time.

But if a less clever player served as room owner, they could only mechanically execute rules discussed internally before entering the room and wouldn’t modify room rules based on circumstances, causing the room owner identity to be wasted.

The advantage of staying outside was being able to observe other communities’ movements and adjust strategies based on the situation of people entering each room.

Obviously, Wang Weidong thought the former was more important, so he chose to serve as room owner himself, then left Xu Zhao outside as the second core to ensure his plan could be executed smoothly.

The information on the large screen also immediately updated.

[Please have player number 2 choose a room.]

Following Cai Zhiyuan’s previous instructions, Yang Yuting took her number card to the entrance of the ’8-person room’, scanned the card, and entered.

The next player number 3 was also a player from Community 15, but he likewise chose to enter the ’13-person room’.

Because according to game rules, players from the same community could only serve as one room owner.

Player number 4 was a player from Community 13.

But he also didn’t enter the ’4-person room’ to become room owner, and still chose to enter the ’13-person room’.

The player holding card number 5 was Qian Li. Seeing this situation, her face clearly showed a delighted expression.

Obviously, her strategy had succeeded.

Through negotiations, the other two groups had both chosen not to actively enter the ’4-person room’, allowing her to smoothly obtain room ownership of the ’4-person room’.

Gao Jialiang continued to wait anxiously. Only after ensuring 3 players from Community 1 had entered the ’4-person room’ would things be secure.

Before that, variables could still occur.

...

Soon, players from each community entered different rooms one after another according to their established strategies.

During this process, Cai Zhiyuan wasn’t idle either.

He took Zheng Jie and two players from Community 8 and stood in a position obviously close to the ’13-person room’, frequently observing the number cards in their hands.

Xu Zhao was also constantly watching him. Both were calculating.

On Community 17’s side, number cards 7 and 8 were consecutive. Dai Yifan, holding card number 7, entered the ’8-person room’ to meet up with Yang Yuting, while Zhou Guifen, holding card number 8, directly entered the ’13-person room’.

Zhou Guifen wasn’t a free person, but her entering the ’13-person room’ so early still displayed an obvious aggressive behavior, making Xu Zhao somewhat unable to keep his composure.

Obviously, Community 17’s side could also choose to throw enough ordinary players and free persons into the ’13-person room’ to attack.

And for safety’s sake, Xu Zhao also had to arrange for his own people to enter the ’13-person room’ to defend.

Especially using free persons to occupy positions.

After discussing with players from Community 13, he chose to first have a ’Free Person’ from Community 13 enter the ’13-person room’ to occupy a position.

Zheng Jie didn’t understand what this was all about at all. He was just standing by to support the show according to Cai Zhiyuan’s requirements.

He secretly lowered his voice, ”I don’t understand, Brother Cai. What exactly are we doing?”

Cai Zhiyuan explained without showing emotion, ”We’re creating pressure for Community 15, forcing them to defend.

”Simply put, ’Free Persons’ are a resource that can be used for offense. When the number of ’free persons with malicious intent’ in a room reaches a certain amount, the entire room will have risk of collapse.

”This number varies depending on the room capacity.

”Wang Weidong chose the 13-person room. More people means higher earnings, but the risk of collapse is also greater.

”As long as this room has ’4 free persons with malicious intent’, it might very well collapse.

”And this room can have a total of 6 free persons enter.

”So, the four of us standing here can give him enough deterrence.

”According to Community 15’s original plan, they should have considered using Community 1’s two free persons to occupy positions.

”If Community 1’s free persons can complete this task, then Xu Zhao might consider conversely throwing the free persons he controls into the ’8-person room’ we control.

”But Community 1’s players have relatively later number cards.

”If we don’t do anything, Xu Zhao will definitely continue waiting.

”So we have to stand here to apply pressure, making an aggressive posture of being ready to enter the ’13-person room’ at any time.

”Once all four free persons we control enter, the ’13-person room’ might collapse.

”And defending the ’8-person room’ is very simple for us. We just need to send in one of our own free persons.

”Xu Zhao doesn’t know our specific number card numbers, and the number cards he controls are generally earlier. So for safety’s sake, he can only first throw in a ’Free Person’ from Community 13 to occupy a position and strengthen the defense a bit.”

Cai Zhiyuan was holding the very late number card 21, but Xu Zhao didn’t know this.

Zheng Jie nodded. He knew this was a bluffing strategy.

Because he himself definitely wouldn’t enter the ’13-person room’. Cai Zhiyuan had already arranged for him to dismantle the ’4-person room’.

However, Zheng Jie noticed that on Community 15 and Community 13’s side, Xu Zhao and Kong Yuxin were also constantly paying attention to the situation with the ’4-person room’.

The two of them very likely also held free person identities and had the same plans as Zheng Jie.

Just then, the player from Community 1 holding number card 12 finally entered the ’4-person room’, bringing the room’s occupancy to 2 people.

The next turn was Zheng Jie’s.

Cai Zhiyuan immediately said, ”Go in directly.”

Zheng Jie was stunned, ”But the room doesn’t have 3 people yet.”

Cai Zhiyuan shook his head, ”Don’t wait. It’s already your number card’s turn, and if we wait longer, free persons from other communities might intercept.”

Zheng Jie nodded and quickly stepped forward, scanned his number card at the ’4-person room’ entrance, pushed the door open, and entered.
