God's Imitator

The next morning.

Everyone gathered in the hall, waiting for the new member to arrive.

[New player visa review completed, will automatically be filled in as the new Player No. 4.]

[Please guide the new player to move in and familiarize them with relevant community rules to avoid violations.]

[Community is at full capacity and automatically closed, no longer accepting new players.]

Everyone looked toward the community entrance. They saw a male player wearing a simple T-shirt and long pants with a buzz cut, looking around.

His skin was tanned quite dark, and he also looked thin, but under the T-shirt they could still vaguely see clear muscle definition.

Fu Chen had already quickly stepped forward, ”Hello, this is Community 17. I’m Fu Chen, nice to meet you.”

The newly arrived male player shook hands with Fu Chen, ”Hello, I’m Dai Yifan.

”What is this place? I’m still not quite clear why I came here.”Fu Chen pointed to the hall entrance, ”Come in first. These things can’t be explained in a few words. We’ll explain everything to you from the beginning.”

...

Soon, everyone introduced the basic situation of the New World to Dai Yifan, as well as the community’s basic rules.

Dai Yifan also briefly introduced his basic situation.

He was 21 years old this year. After the college entrance exam, he served as a conscript for two years and had now been discharged.

This disappointed everyone somewhat. Although everyone indeed wanted to recruit a relatively young member, even among young members, there would be differences in education level and years of service.

Some people went to serve after graduating from university, or directly attended military academy. They would obviously have advantages in knowledge structure.

But Dai Yifan went to serve after high school graduation, which meant his academic performance probably wasn’t good, and naturally they couldn’t count on his intelligence level or knowledge structure.

But in any case, the community’s candidate selection was like this. It was basically impossible to select someone suitable in all aspects.

Everyone had already mentally prepared themselves in advance, so they wouldn’t be too disappointed.

After initially understanding the community rules and the Gallery’s life-and-death games, Dai Yifan’s brow furrowed tightly, and his expression inevitably became somewhat grave.

But he wasn’t too panicked either, remaining relatively composed.

Fu Chen consoled him, ”Don’t worry. The players in our community all help each other. After entering a game, try to find players from the same community as soon as possible and execute team strategy.

”The next game should still have three or four days before it opens. If you’re interested, I can use this time to briefly tell you about previous games.

”Although every game is different, last-minute cramming is still somewhat useful.”

Dai Yifan nodded, ”Alright, thank you very much.”

The game was about to open, and most people were still feeling down about Cao Haichuan’s matter, so everyone wasn’t in the mood to hold any welcome banquet. After simply welcoming Dai Yifan’s joining, they each went to attend to their own matters.

Fu Chen then led Dai Yifan to familiarize him with the community environment and told him about the previous games.

...

Evening.

Lin Sizhi returned to his room to check. Sure enough, a new message had appeared on the computer.

[Hello, Lin Sizhi.]

[The various communities in the New World are undergoing subtle changes, and the God’s Imitators each have their own plans.]

[The审核 standards for all God’s Imitators will gradually become more lenient, and the scene props that can be deployed are constantly increasing.]

[Primary access to the ’Database’ has been opened to more God’s Imitators.]

[Please continue working hard and maintain the ’Gallery’s’ attention on you.]

[Now, the Gallery extends a new design invitation to you:]

[Please design a game with the theme of ’strengthening visa time redistribution’.]

[This distribution-type game does not mandate full participation. As the designer, you can screen participating players through specific rules.]

[But please note: You cannot directly designate communities participating in the game, but can decide the number of participating communities; you cannot directly designate players participating in the game, but can decide the screening conditions for players.]

[The game planning document is in your desk drawer.]

[The deadline is 8 PM tomorrow night. You have 24 hours to complete the game design.]

[The ’Gallery’ will evaluate all submitted planning documents and adopt the highest-rated plan to set up the game venue.]

[Now, the 24-hour countdown begins. Please make your choice.]

Lin Sizhi had guessed the type of game this time.

According to previous patterns, it was about time for a distribution-type game.

But unlike the previous two distribution-type games, this distribution-type game had one obvious difference.

It was no longer mandatory for all to participate.

As the designer, although Lin Sizhi couldn’t designate specific communities and players to participate in the game, he could impose restrictions on the number of communities, number of players, player screening rules, and other content, indirectly allowing specific players to enter.

Moreover, judging from the wording of the game invitation, this distribution-type game seemed to be more brutal.

So far, the Gallery had issued three distribution-type game invitations.

The first time was ’Blood Poker’, with the wording ’complete the first distribution of visa time’.

The second time was ’Conglomerate Nation’, with the wording ’complete the redistribution of visa time’.

And this time, the wording was ’strengthen the redistribution of visa time’.

These subtle changes in wording also revealed the Gallery’s attitude.

Although direct death penalty rules generally couldn’t be designed in distribution-type games, punishment could be imposed in other ways.

For example, deducting visa time.

’Conglomerate Nation’ had rules for punitively deducting visa time. For players with less time, once deducted to 48 hours remaining, if the community was unwilling to save them, they could only wait for death.

And this distribution-type game was clearly more brutal than ’Conglomerate Nation’.

Lin Sizhi took out the game planning document from the drawer and fell into thought.

After making up his mind, he wrote down the game’s name in the planning document.

’Simple Q&A’.

...

...

The next day.

Lin Sizhi got up and ate breakfast as usual.

After most people had arrived, Wei Yinzhang also shared information about this game invitation with everyone.

”The next game is a distribution-type game.

”I don’t have any particularly good ideas. I’ve only thought of some scattered rules that don’t form a system. The game invitation will close tonight, so my plan most likely won’t be selected.

”However, from the invitation, this distribution game may not have all players participating.

”Besides that, there’s no other information to disclose.”

Hearing this news, everyone was very happy.

”Oh? A distribution-type game!”

”This is good news. Finally another distribution-type game!”

”Not everyone can participate? Why? Is it because we fleeced too much visa time the previous times and the Gallery wants to control inflation?”

Dai Yifan, who had just joined the community recently, was still somewhat unclear about the situation, ”What about distribution-type games? Why are you all so happy?”
