God's Imitator

Their making such a choice was also within expectations.

The ’final vote’ definitely had to vote out one community, so the community that drew the most hatred would definitely bear the brunt.

Although Community 12 obtained the ’privileged community’ status, strictly speaking, they hadn’t done too much provocation toward Community 7 and Community 9.

While Wang Weidong from Community 15 was clearly much higher profile, directly selecting a plot between Community 7 and Community 9, which could be viewed as a clear act of provocation.

Add to that they had the most remaining visa time and were also more aggressive. Being hated by Community 7 and Community 9 was a high-probability event.

Zhang Shichao took the opportunity to propose, ”Since our three communities want to cooperate, then it’s not just the ’final vote.’ There are many other places we can cooperate.

”For example, against-conscience votes. If we concentrate our against-conscience votes, we can completely forcibly change a judgment result once.”

Li Renshu was silent for a moment, then shook her head, ”Sorry, but regarding the use of ’against-conscience votes,’ I cannot make promises to you.

”Our community has other uses for them.”

Zhang Shichao was somewhat disappointed, but still nodded, ”Alright then.”Li Renshu continued, ”Of course, to make our cooperation more stable, I also came with sincerity this time.

”Both of your communities currently only have 4 plots. According to game rules, each shelter must fall under a player’s name, so these shelters aren’t enough for you to protect all 5 players.

”We’re currently building 8 normal shelters with 90% probability. We can give you 2.

”But you must purchase them at a price of 12 gold coins.

”The reason for purchasing at this price is to avoid risks as much as possible, avoiding triggering crimes and being jointly implicated due to excessively high or low selling prices.

”Of course, according to game rules, shelters can only be completed after the sixth round begins. We have to wait until the ’free trading phase’ of the sixth round to conduct the transaction.

”That is to say, for the judgment at the very beginning of the sixth round, we’re powerless. But at least before the judgment of the seventh round, both of your communities can ensure all members have shelters.”

Hearing this, joyful expressions appeared on both Zhang Shichao and Jin Cheng’s faces.

Clearly, this was exactly what they urgently needed.

Although new nine-square grids would continue to be auctioned later, no one knew in what specific order these nine-square grids would be auctioned. What if for two consecutive rounds they had no bidding qualifications?

If they suffered instant death punishment before building enough shelters, it would all be over.

Directly purchasing shelters was obviously the better choice.

The price of 12 gold coins was neither high nor low, roughly near normal cost price. Completely acceptable.

And such behavior could also make the three-party alliance more stable.

Although they had initially reached a ’cooperate during final vote’ agreement, after all, the game still had half its time before ending. Events during this period could very likely destroy current cooperation.

So they must continuously exchange benefits and cultivate mutual trust. Only then would this cooperation be more stable.

Zhang Shichao thought for a moment, ”Then, what can our two communities do for you?”

Li Renshu thought for a moment, ”For now, no need to do anything.

”If you’re willing, you can tell me the possible crimes of criminals in your communities. We can share information to avoid the risk of being jointly implicated.”

Jin Cheng and Zhang Shichao hesitated slightly. Clearly, this kind of information was relatively sensitive.

However, after considering, Zhang Shichao still said, ”The crime of our community’s criminal might possibly be ’spreading statements,’ ’inciting,’ ’instigating,’ or ’deceiving.’

”But I’m not sure which one specifically.”

Jin Cheng frowned, ”Huh? Isn’t this also too broad? Surely we won’t be jointly implicated just for casually saying a few words?”

Zhang Shichao shook his head, ”That shouldn’t be the case. Probably actions with stronger malice, or statements related to shelter transactions count? I can’t be sure. You can only judge for yourselves.”

Jin Cheng thought for a moment and also said, ”My crime should be selling inferior houses.”

This surprised Li Renshu somewhat, because this crime was very specific. It also verified Community 17’s internal speculation: selling inferior shelters might itself be one of the crimes.

Finally, it was Li Renshu’s turn.

After consideration, she said, ”Our community’s crime might be ’inaction.’”

Although she could also choose to make up a fake crime to deceive, after considering, Li Renshu felt that wouldn’t be a wise move.

If she deceived now, it would inevitably be exposed when the criminal’s file was announced. Although she could quibble that she wasn’t certain of the specific crime and guessed wrong, the other party wouldn’t necessarily believe it. It might also cause the three communities to turn against each other.

That would be equivalent to drawing hatred for herself. At the time of ’final vote,’ it would be trouble.

Zhang Shichao was somewhat surprised, ”This also counts as one of the crimes? That doesn’t make much sense. If people really got jointly implicated because of this crime, how many would die?

”So, you actively selling shelters to help us is also to avoid this crime as much as possible?”

Li Renshu nodded, ”If I must say, indeed there’s some such consideration. But mainly it’s still about banding together in cooperation.”

Actually, Community 17 internally had already decided to have Cao Haichuan directly confess and offset with a get-out-of-death-free card, but this kind of thing of course couldn’t be told to other communities.

Li Renshu continued, ”Besides this, I have some non-binding proposals.

”For example, if our three communities bid on nine-square grids against each other, try not to drive up prices too much against each other. We can coordinate with each other to distribute plots.

”When purchasing shelters from each other, also try to transact at cost price around 12 gold coins as much as possible.

”Besides this, if subsequently our three parties can think of any collective strategies or cooperation strategies, on the premise of not seriously affecting the interests of the other party’s community, I hope we can prioritize internal sharing, try our best to cooperate, and exclude Community 12 and Community 15 as much as possible.”

Jin Cheng and Zhang Shichao nodded, expressing agreement.

Li Renshu looked at the time. A new round of the game was about to begin.

”Good, then it’s settled. After the sixth round enters the free trading segment, come find me to trade shelters.”

...

The three each returned to their own communities.

Jin Cheng returned to the rest area where Community 7 was located. The other four players hurried up to meet her.

”What did you talk about?”

”How did it go? Is there any strategy?”

Jin Cheng felt much more reassured inside, ”Don’t worry. We’ve temporarily reached cooperation with Community 9 and Community 17.

”Community 17 is willing to sell us 1 normal shelter. This way, before the end of the sixth round, we can conduct the transaction. At least first ensure everyone is allocated one shelter.”

Hearing this news, everyone from Community 7 was very happy.

Community 7 was already a relatively weak community. Of the 5 people who came to the game, three of them had just entered the New World not long ago. They were the weakest batch in the community, usually dependent on other players playing ’supporting role’ characters.

After entering this game, five ’supporting roles’ didn’t have any backbone. They fundamentally couldn’t form organization.

Jin Cheng was picking the tallest among the short, forcibly pushed out.

Previously, they were in a state of panic. At this time, hearing they had established cooperation with other communities, they finally had fairly good news.
