ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

「I don’t know if you’re a goose or a turkey, but for me you are just a stupid duck…… You hear me, Mother Goose!?」

EterZero doesn’t hold anything in her hands right now, it is so-called hand-held empty fist style…… But that’s just the initial appearance. In truth, unlike Katsu who uses his bare fists to fight, EterZero actually uses weapons as well as her combat strategy. However, the reason why she might look empty-handed is because her weapons are actually so similar to her armor that you cannot almost make the difference here. It’s a little bit too perfect of a match, if you were to ask me.

At first glance, it looks like only a part of the actual armor, because it is almost exactly the same weapon category, but it is premised on simultaneous operation with specific armor. Yes, things like that actually do exist in this game.

Then, what is the actual “skill” that the armor of a Heavy Armored warrior can unleash without holding onto actual weapons?

「Heavy Weapon Power – Full Arm Wrestle – !!」

The upper arm part of the armor that was swung out with a mighty roar and a twist of the whole body hits the neck of the giant goose directly, and since its cervical spine should have really low basic stats to begin with, it shouldn’t be able to last very long after taking a blow filled with antagonism like that directly and without any attempts at mitigating the force of the blow or escaping from it.

「Ooohhh!!! Take this! “Talos Lariat!!!”」

A joke-like knockback effect occurs in the place where the arm of EterZero connected to the goose’s neck, and then it manages to easily send the car-sized body of the monster flying in the air…… This is the battle style of EterZero, destroying her enemies with an instantaneous force limited to an extremely narrow range of one meter in distance. It is a fantasy professional wrestling made possible by the unique job “Armored Warrior – Armed Wrestler –“, which is a hidden unique job of the warrior based on the lariat system that make it possible to elevate one’s combat prowess to even higher grounds than ever before. Not to mention that it looks cool as all hell.

It’s a ridiculous hidden job that basically grants a tremendous knockback effect to almost every single skill in this particular set, but from what I have heard, the way in which you learn new skills is not level-related, but you have to “learn” them through some other convoluted means, which actually makes the skill acquisition quite dull when you think about it. …… But even if you subtract all those elements from the equation, the character of EterZero was already starting to look pretty grim and dark, and she was about to get even darker and more grim than that.

Now, that is actually one of the reasons why Inexhaustible Mother Goose’s can be made a mere punching bag by the likes of EterZero, because her personal specs and performance is so incredibly low. Of course, it was trying its best to fight back, but it was to no avail –– its beak was simply not strong enough to actually make a dent on EterZero’s full body armor, not even mentioning a scratch.

「Come on, come on, COME ON!! What’s wrong!? I’m not going to stop just because you are not going to attack me, you know!? I still have more where that came from!!」

Next was an elbow drop directed at the monster’s spinal cord once more, to think that I would ever get to see a heavy armored wrestler using all of those weird and various techniques on a mere goose, this is just…… No, not worth it! Not worth it! I need to stop thinking about stuff like that, otherwise I might end up getting the biggest headache of my entire life!

「Tsk, I might not be proficient in wrestling techniques, but my techniques can get equally flashy, you know!?」

It would seem that the speed at which the Inexhaustible Mother Goose is spawning her chick to help her fight only increases its pace the more corner the monster gets. At the current moment the amount of enemies is so huge that they can almost bury me under their sheer number. But with a lot of kill scores that surpass even the one I managed to get during the Great Red Devourer battle, R.I.P and Memento Mori continues to aid me with their effects at full throttle and without even showing sights of slowing down. If it were in a normal half-naked state right here, it would have already died about thirty times or even more.

「Professor!? How are we in the time department here!?」

「About ten minutes or so! …… Or wait, actually scratch that! We have about nine minutes left to wrap things up!」

Okay, EterZero, step on it and get a move on! I won’t tolerate anything that is actually going to make us lose precious time here!

「Don’t underestimate us, you stupid goose!!!」

I am going to show you, EterZero! I’m not going to lose! This is my own version of the armed Lucha Libre, now enchanced with enough power that basically allows me to crush those pesky chicks with my bare hands! How do you like that, huh!? Can your Pro Wrestling even do such a thing!? No!? Thought as much! It might not be that detailed, but take a look at that! A Hero Smash that tears three chicks at once to shreds!

…

………

……………

「AAHH, MY BELOVED CHILDREN. YOUR GROUP HAS SHOWED ME THAT YOU POSSESS POWER STRONG ENOUGH TO OVERCOME EVEN THE GREATEST OF ADVERSTIES, EVEN IF YOU ARE BEING THROWN INTO AN UNKNOWN LAND THAT YOU HAVE NO INFORMATION ABOUT. AND NOW…… YOU HAVE LEARNED, ADAPTED, OVERCAME AND YOU ARE STANDING AT THE ABSOLUTE TOP OF THIS MINIATURE GARDEN!」

Eventually, the Inexhaustible Mother Goose who ate the two-way lariat cross counter performed by myself and EterZero fell, and the chicks who seemed to share their lives with their mother also shattered into pieces…… Apparently, Professor’s thoughts were correct. “Ivory” has appeared once more before us.

「ONCE AGAIN, HUMANS HAVE PROVED THAT PRIMATES STAND AT THE VERY TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN, AND FOR A GOOD REASON, TOO! BUT THOSE WHO WERE BEFORE YOU ON THIS PLANET WERE EVENTUALLY DEFEATED AND PERISHED…… BUT NOT BEFORE LEAVING YOU HERE, NEXT GENERATION HUMAN BEINGS!」

The words of “Ivory” were as gentle as if she was talking to a baby sleeping in a cradle, yet mixed with the loneliness of talking to a young man who was about to venture all on his own into the vast and open world.

「HUMANITY ID ONCE AGAIN GOING TO ELEVATE PRIMATES TO THE TOP…… THAT IS MY EARNEST WISH. NOW PLEASE, KEEP ON SHOWING ME WHAT KIND OF POTENTIAL YOU ACTUALLY HAVE HIDDEN INSIDE OF YOU!」

「But sometimes it should be okay for a Mother to spoil her children…… Am I right, Mother?」

Dude, can you stop laughing during a serious conversation?
