ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

Andrew continued to laugh for a little while, and once he was finished his simply corrected his posture and…… He turned back towards Sigma and I, looking all serious now. He then opened his mouth to speak up.

「Yes, that’s right. If we are to talk about Conquest Dolls in general, we need to start from talking about “Sternbloom” and explain what this is. Of course, you have already managed to obtain the very basics of knowledge about our civilization, isn’t that right?」

「I recommend the Strawberry one.」

「Hmm, I see. I understand. A really good sense, huh? So? Anything else that you would like to recommend?」

「Why the hell am I the only one you’re asking that question?」

「I would personally recommend the Box, but oh well.」

I mean, aside from that one unit called the “Strawberry Group” that I happened to meet a while ago, I don’t really know anything else that I could have recommended here. So I just did what every other gamer would have done in my place and I just threw a random word around, the one that seemed to be the most appropriate one for the conversation that was currently at hand. And in all seriousness, that was the only real option that was available to me. I know that the members are Sigma and…… Ririel, I believe was her name?

「Hmm, I see. I see it now. Well, I can’t blame you for knowing only so little that you know. But that is already much in and out of itself, if it makes any sense to you.」

Oh, I get I got busted pretty quickly out there, huh?

「…… Somehow, I’m sorry. I don’t know what for, but I really am.」

「Oh, don’t worry about it too much. It’s not like we are born with all the knowledge of the world already in our grasp, right? We all need to start somewhere. Especially if you are a Next Generation Human Being who’s civilization has been reset…… I’m going to rent you a video with their concert later on, so that you can catch up to speed.」

「No, I don’t really need anything like that…… Besides, this conversation is starting to go off track really fast.」

「Huh? Oh well, this sucks. So, how about I tell you about the splendor and glory of the Sternbloom as a whole……」

「Oi, Answer Code Talker! Don’t just start talking from one question to another like some freaking textbook’s table of content! I’m actually in quite a bit of a hurry here, so I would greatly appreciate it if you could skip all of the unnecessary parts and go right towards the main dish! We can discuss all those other things sometime later!」

「Seriously now, this is exactly why I was originally against resetting the civilization and culture as a whole, you know…… What should I do now? Start over from the very beginning? That’s really barbaric, don’t you think? And Alice, you said that there shouldn’t be any blanks in the accumulated history, didn’t you? …… Oh well, it doesn’t really matter. Let me just answer your questions, then……」

It may have caused for my character to lose some affection points with this guy, but it just cannot be helped! I really need to wrap things up before 6:30 p.m. I cannot allow myself to catch a cold as easily as Bansai-san. That would have been really stupid.

「To begin with, the Conquest Dolls are the supreme creation that is the bread and butter of the “Plan C” that I, Doctor Andrew Jitter Doll personally created.」

「Plan C?」

I know that there was Plan A and that there was Plan B, but Plan C……? That’s actually the first time I have ever heard about it.

In a very huge nutshell, the Plan A was to “make” history through biological reproduction and prosperity.

The Plan B was to “open up” history by cultivating and conquering the products that are produced and shipped in Behemoth all over the planet’s surface.

So what could possibly be the Plan C? What could possibly be the plan for “human beings” whose main axis is the use of the Conquest Dolls?

「The Plan C is something that is bound to work in parallel with both Plan A and Plan B. It is something that is going to utilize the Conquest Dolls in order to make sure that the cultural heritage of humanity is going to be preserved for all eternity! As I was saying, it will utilize the Sternbloom Unit in form of “Idols” of this world in the future to come. It’s a great plan that is absolutely foolproof and there is no way in hell that it can fail.」

…………… Yeah, and?

…………… No, seriously? And then what?

…………… Hmm?

No, wait, but this is……

Isn’t that actually crazy? To say the least?

「Ahh, umm, oh wow. I don’t even know what to say. I try to be a generous person who does not offend others just because the way in which they have explained something sounds utterly incomprehensible, because every primate has its own dignity that needs to be respected, but…… Yeah, I really hope that you won’t feel offended because of what I am about to say.」

Oh yeah, that’s right. Let’s start with that.

「For the sake of Human race?」

「Absolutely.」

「But they are all Dolls, isn’t that right?」

「That’s actually a trivial problem. Absolutely nothing that you need to concern yourself with.」

「But they are made of inorganic substances, wouldn’t you agree?」

「So? Is there something wrong with that?」

…… Alright, I really need some time out here. You heard me? Time out! Good. Now then, Sigma, Emul, if you could please come over here for a moment?

「What the hell do we do now!? I have no idea what to do!」

「I-I feel like as long as we go with all the confidence we need, we cannot do anything wrong?」

「Negation: We are the Conquest Dolls. We should not be the parts of neither Plan A nor Plan B for sure……」

Okay, the character of this crazy Doctor suddenly made a plummet towards really dark in my eyes, and it’s something that greatly concerns me. Alright, I’ll accept the risk of dropping my affection even lower, but it has to be done! Wait just a little while longer, my real body! It’s just breakfast, surely you’ll be able to hold on……!!

「Okay, I see, I get it. Let’s prioritize the facilitation of the story for the time being, shall we? …… So, you, Andrew Jitter Doll, are the one who have created the Conquest Dolls…… But what was that part about human race again?」
