ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

As for the biggest threat that the All-Night Knights Channel poses…… It would definitely be the fact that they can stay logged in the game for hours. Not to mention that the sheer number of their subscribers is going to allow them to rotate between waves of players, so in the end they can stay logged in virtually forever. There is also the problem of them all being “All-Nighters”, something that most certainly could not be said about Amane’s supporters and the forces of Thirdrema itself…… Although RPA led by Pencilgton herself has succeeded in sneaking into the royal capital and all other social hubs of interest, it is true that majority of Thirdrema is beyond the control of the players. In fact, some may not even know that Pencilgton is now in the Chancellor’s position, and that could bring all sorts of different problems all on its own.

In other words, it is not possible to prepare a small portion of good players to be able to act like a legion of weaker and less experienced players would. They would certainly be on the losing side when it comes to the sheer amount of supporters backing them up, and numbers are the necessary fuel on which the beast known as “war” need to carry on if you want it to be successful. And it makes various preparations a whole lot easier to accomplish.

However, even though all of the above group were dangerous, they were not the ones who would pose the greatest threat.

Paya Garu Channel. A channel with approximately four and a half million subscribers and counting…… It is the largest undisputed channel around this side of the Internet at the current moment, one that has become Japan’s largest live game content channel due to the integration of two largest content creators that were currently around: “Payabusa” and “Garu Nose”. When their merged creation managed to become a global scale, they are now something that can be compared to Silvia Goldberg. They had the skills, but most importantly their sheer number of subscribers was something that couldn’t possibly be scoffed at. The difference here was simply way too big.

The influence of Payabusa was huge because it was the channel that boasted an overwhelmingly positive approval rating from teenagers, and “Garu Nose” attracted support from niche groups thanks to the channel’s overly astringent choice in games. And the combined result was something that simply could not be compared to the three other channels, even if they all collaborated with one another. It is said that if the two of them say that some game is a “God Game”, then even the most mediocre of games would become an instant hit. And the scariest part here? That statement was by no means a lie or an overstatement.

As you can see, as opposed to the top model “Towa Amane”, those two channels combined could be called the real influencers, who actually could reach millions of people around the world…… They have no need to collaborate with others, and just by stating that they will be on the new king’s side, the strength ratio is going to tilt greatly in the disadvantage of the old king’s supporters.

Perhaps they knew that the new king intends on cracking down on the non-human races of the New Continent, and if Amane’s expectations are correct, they would also launch a plan to persuade the new king to let the players have a part in that campaign…… Now, Amane saw nothing wrong with that, but only as long as she is the one who would be the mastermind behind such a plan.

Shangri-La Frontier possesses the power to lure even the most neutral of players into the middle of a political conflict, and all with the help of nothing more but a mere manifesto. If the nature of the new king Alex is well known and the flag named “Convince” is dropped, people will gather under that banner and think nothing of it.

「Now, because of those guys the operation in question is going to be……? No, it’s not such a terrible direct interference, but even if we tried to do something about it, we are not going to prevent the support for the new king to grow. …… But if so, was it their own judgement? But for it to be so soon? Isn’t it noticeable on the side? Especially in the Thirdrema? Are they really that unconcerned with me?」

Most of the Amane’s vigilance was currently directed towards the PayaGaru Channel.

No, that was not exactly the truth here. Towa Amane’s vigilance was currently directed at Payabusa, one half of the PayaGaru Channel. Because she just happened to know the person behind that channel to some extent.

A movement to gain further recognition by extinguishing all three major flames that once occurred on its own, succeeding in planning with large-scale viewers many times, and embarking on channel integration with Garu Nose. …… It is not just a natural trick. She could understand it because she was precisely the same type as “them”. And she would opt to do the same if she only had a chance to do so.

「Payabusa, that guy is……」

Amane is exactly the same type of player. She likes to fight on the frontlines, but she loves even more to pull people in her schemes and cause conflict and mayhem from behind the scenes even more. As long as this man stands as her enemy in this conflict, the Guild created by the Content Creators’ Union is going to be the greatest threat possible to Amane and her own RPA. Without a shred of a doubt.

「Fuh…… Alright, fine then. Have it your way. At least this way things are going to get somewhat exciting. There is no more boring thing than a one-sided conflict, wouldn’t you agree?」

Ideally, I thought it would be better to have resolved this situation with as few of needless troubles as possible. If a mighty enemy appeared, she would have no choice but to switch her thoughts away from her goal. It’s not that she didn’t have means to multi-task, and if an opponent appears as a person who sees the big picture, it’s also fun to hit it head-on. At least it’s a whole lot more fun than teasing hopeless NPCs.

「That’s actually great, Content Creators’s Alliance! Come fight me, but better be prepared to lose subscribers! But don’t come crying when that number drops below thirty percent!」

Amane laughed here, knowing full well that her words of challenge would not actually reach her opponents…… It’s only natural that each other’s perceptions have never been shared. But ……… their clash was actually not too far away.
