A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 735: Chapter 735: Agrimond (Final)

The fierce battle between Viktor and Holmzi has lasted for three hourglass periods.

The metal giant, dozens of meters tall, continuously sweeps red beams in all directions. After three ”beep” sounds, three beams capture the afterimage flying at an astonishing speed around it. Suddenly, the giant’s left hand gathers energy with a ”buzz,” and a dark red pillar of light flashes briefly.

Boom!

An explosion of destructive energy sweeps through the Tristar Sacred Tower Abyss Duel Arena, and within the shockwave, a black afterimage flashes and disappears.

”Able to consistently sustain attacks over 5000 degrees, this Mechanical Wizard, though slightly inferior in attack degree compared to Annihilation Force, can still offset Annihilation Force in direct combat. As for some other abilities mastered by this Mechanical Wizard...”

From the high-altitude VIP seats, Green observes two powerful wizards engaging in battle while conducting self-assessment.

If unable to become the Supreme Sorcerer of the World, the growth potential of the Thousand-Eyed Giant Crab is limited. Although not a weakling among typical Third-Level Creatures, it’s not exceptionally evolved compared to Ant Queen-Level Mechanical Puppets or some outstanding Third-Level Creatures from other worlds.

As for the Enigmatic Thousand-Headed Bird, it’s somewhat promising, but that’s only after growing ninety-nine heads, which might be comparable to the Ant-Queen Level Mechanical Puppet. As of now, it still has a long way to go.

Black Devouring Flame Soul Giant?

Green, having mastered transmutation energy Annihilation Force during his First-Level Wizard period, advanced to Second-Level Wizard rapidly, leaving behind the Elemental Activated Creature witchcraft that should accompany his growth. Although there are some special aspects, it’s only an average Third-Level Creature.

This witchcraft requires considerable time to make up for growing accumulation.

”Young Master, this Viktor is really formidable. Facing such a strong Mechanical Wizard, he has only activated two layers of Wild Instinct so far.”

While speaking, Xiao Ba sways a bit in the tray, evidently not fully sober from the drunken state, taps his head with one wing, saying, ”Damn, that booze is potent.”

Inside the Arena.

Outside the energy shockwave, an afterimage flashes, and the skin becomes crystal-clear, two curved golden horns grow atop the head, robust and fierce, with the crimson warhammer emitting a fiery red glow as if burning. High-pressure airwaves surround the body, seeming to separate the air pressure inside and outside into two different worlds.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Two afterimages chase, accompanied by Holmzi’s two remaining General Ant Level Mechanical Puppets, after three hourglass fighting periods, only these two out of the initially six remain.

One puppet is light golden, shaped like a round barrel Little Fatty, two meters tall, with countless agile Self-Destructing Bees flying out from the body holes, possessing terrifying explosive penetration.

The other puppet seems like a liquid metal, with astonishing resistance to physical attacks, capable of using a sticky liquid flame, greatly adhesive in nature, an enhanced version of the Eternal Flame that Wizard Green apprenticed during.

Above the wreckage of a destroyed giant mechanical puppet, Little Fatty Puppet and Liquid Metal Puppet catch up to Viktor, maintaining parallel status, with the two mechanical puppets attacking one after another.

Viktor, with the powerful stance of the Second Layer of Wild Instinct Transformation, matches the strength of Green’s Barbarian Giant transformation at this moment. The crimson warhammer easily shatters the Liquid Metal Mechanical Puppet again, dispersing it into countless metallic liquid particles that begin gathering anew.

Yet for the other side’s Little Fatty Mechanical Puppet, Viktor avoids it at all costs, dodging at length, letting Little Fatty’s explosive bees keep harassing without ever closing in for a counter-attack.

Stamping the ground, a fissure several meters wide instantly forms, using the counterforce to shoot Viktor several hundred meters in an instant, shaking off the burning liquid flames on the body, while behind, ”Boom,” ”Boom,” sounds of non-stop explosions echo from the explosive bees of Little Fatty losing target and hitting the ground.

”Indeed worthy of being Holmzi the Mechanical Burst Fighter, these two mechanical puppets are quite interesting.”

Having dealt with four mechanical puppets, Viktor thinks, yet suddenly, Wild Instinct senses a potential danger. Since Viktor became Abyssal King and grew stronger, such sense of crisis diminishes, instantly aware of the danger behind!

The ponytail-braid Ant Queen-Level mechanical puppet little girl silently appears behind Viktor. Her light red mechanical eyes glow with indifferent data calculation light, and a small white tender hand slices like an invisible blade.

Ssssnap!

”Ugh...”

A cry of pain, Viktor gets injured for the first time, as this small white tender hand easily tears through Viktor’s crystal-clear skin defense, slicing open bloody wounds.

The golden horns atop the head flash, Viktor appears several hundred meters away, gently touching blood stains on the back, with a face full of gloom.

”Viktor, I’ve obtained your body information.”

Holmzi, transformed into a metal giant, reminiscent of a metal fortress, stands at the center of the arena. At this moment, the Ant Queen-Level mechanical puppet sits on its shoulder, savoring the blood on her palm, swallowing every drop.

On the metallic giant’s shoulder, an altar gradually formed for the little girl to stand upon.

”Heh heh heh heh, you only have one minute left. Defeating someone like you, who only knows how to use brute force, is much simpler by using dueling rules than by confronting you head-on.”

As Holmzi’s metallic giant spoke, the queen ant-level mechanical puppet on the altar on its shoulder gradually evolved into a lotus shape, and an unknown mysterious power began to connect and apply itself to Agrimond.

Agrimond felt his body being gradually repelled by the Three-Star Arena, to be pushed out of this space.

”You!”

The domineering and unmatched Agrimond showed signs of anxious anger on his face; this was no longer a situation he completely controlled.

He could easily sense that amidst the relentless push of this mysterious power, he would eventually be involuntarily forced out of the arena, akin to fleeing into a teleportation array, which would result in punishment under the dueling arena’s rules.

In direct confrontations, Agrimond had no fear of any of Holmzi’s tactics; he was confident he could handle any stigma attack below the level of a Stigmata Sorcerer, and even if there were stronger Third-Level Wizards, they would never render him defenseless because he represented the ultimate passive evolution of the body!

However, when faced with the arena’s rules, Agrimond, being merely a Third-Level Great Sorcerer, had no means to resist. If Holmzi expelled him from the arena, he would be punished by the Three-Star Sacred Tower Arena’s rules, automatically removing him from the world’s attention.

In anger, Agrimond turned into a blur, charging towards the metallic giant, raising the crimson warhammer at unprecedented speed, almost like a red flash.

Yet, after just covering a hundred meters, this blur suddenly flickered, narrowly dodging a direct hit from a dark red beam shot from the metallic giant’s chest mechanical cannon, only to be quickly engulfed by the explosion’s shockwave.

Boom...

Amidst the roaring cheers of tens of thousands of wizards around the arena, the wine cup in Green’s hand was inadvertently crushed with a ”crack.”

”A miniature destruction cannon? An attack surpassing ten thousand degrees!”

As a Demon-Hunting Sorcerer, Green was naturally familiar with the energy accumulation and fluctuation of a destruction cannon; the extension material on Agrimond’s chest was unexpectedly a miniature destruction cannon!

”Heh heh heh heh, Agrimond, activate your fourth layer of wild instinct ancient dragon giant state, let me see if you currently possess the full strength of the Destruction Sword Stigmata Sorcerer of old.”

From Holmzi’s words, this powerful Mechanical Wizard had once competed against Youquan before becoming a Stigmata Sorcerer!?

As Holmzi spoke, the metallic cape on his body gradually turned into liquid, as thin as paper, spreading outwards, seemingly forming a mysterious force field.

On the other side, the Little Fatty mechanical puppet condensed into a sphere, quietly floating mid-air, waiting for the oppressive and terrifying silhouette amidst the fiery glow to erupt at any moment.

Whoosh...

The waves of fire were parted by a large hand, and a monster over fifty meters tall, with wings on its back, golden horns on its head, a long tail, and covered in translucent, intricate scales, hunched over as it walked out step by step.

Thump, thump, thump, thump...

With each step, the ground beneath began to crack layer by layer, spreading out like a spider’s web, with dark red pupils burning with a faint purple glow.

Drip, drip, drip...

Blood dripped down; even after transforming into a monster of this level, Agrimond had sustained significant injuries from the earlier explosion’s shockwave, but the wounds were also healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

A terrifying aura emanated from the monster, spreading out circle after circle, and the overwhelming roars in the arena gradually began to quiet down.

This was the first time Agrimond publicly demonstrated such strength!

Such a level of power had already surpassed the psychological limits of many Third-Level Great Sorcerers. If Agrimond had previously shown strength of this level, perhaps no other Abyssal King would have dared to challenge him.

Under the Abyssal King challenge rules, only those who later ascend to the position can actively challenge, and Agrimond, who has been an Abyssal King for two hundred seventy-six years, is undoubtedly the longest-reigning Abyssal King in the Abyssal Underworld!

”Such a level of power...”

Green looked at Agrimond, chills running through him.

No wonder the Stigmata Sorcerers who became Supreme Sorcerers of the Wizard World are hailed as the strongest Stigmata Sorcerers, as they all exhibited terrifying power during their Third-Level Great Wizard phase that even Stigmata Sorcerers feared!
