A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 733: Chapter 733: Agrimond (Part 2)

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom...

With each clash against the massive crimson warhammer, Emperor Gan couldn’t help but grunt and retreat. As the body surged with elemental force, it gradually seemed unable to maintain the most intense state of elemental stimulation, slowly returning to its original state.

Agrimond, meanwhile, maintained relative suppression, gradually closing the first layer of Wild Instinct he had unleashed, returning to his normal state.

Although Agrimond never showcased absolute dominance, he always kept relative suppression. A difficult-to-describe feeling of oppressive despair began to rise in Emperor Gan’s heart, like the time he faced his brother.

Was he maintaining the dignity of an Abyssal King?

Emperor Gan gritted his teeth. The sympathy from a stronger being felt utterly humiliating, yet there was nothing he could do. Each obstacle on his path to advancement brought greater potential for growth and higher aspirations, but the pain and frustration were just as intense.

In the high-altitude VIP seats of the arena.

Xiao Ba was drunk and sound asleep on the tray. Green glanced at the other three; except for the Mechanical Burst Fighter Holmzi who was slightly better off, the others looked as grim as he did.

”How many layers of Wild Instinct has this Abyssal King Agrimond opened?”

Green pondered for a moment before sending a soul message to King of the Jewel Sea, Labulad.

As a being invited by Agrimond, who drew the attention of the Wizard World’s will, this sea tribe powerhouse should presumably know something about this Abyssal King Agrimond.

Labulad’s snake-like pupils looked at Green, revealing a trace of helplessness. Through soul messaging, he said, ”Four layers.”

Upon hearing this, Green couldn’t help but rub his forehead. Indeed, Agrimond had already opened the fourth layer of Wild Instinct!

In his mind, he naturally started comparing this Agrimond to the memory of Master Sister Youquan during her time as a Third-Level Wizard. Although both were Body Refining Sorcerers who had opened the fourth layer of Wild Instinct, undoubtedly, Agrimond’s foundational physique was likely far superior to that of Youquan’s past.

However, Youquan mastered a certain degree of witchcraft, and the Quiet Spring Baptism Self-Sealing Technique she possesses was almost equivalent to unlocking another layer of Wild Instinct...

Who was stronger?

In Green’s heart, naturally, he leaned more towards Master Sister Youquan, who was his aspiring goal.

However, at this moment, Green couldn’t even defeat this Agrimond. It seemed that on the path to becoming a Third-Level Great Sorcerer, he still needed a considerable amount of accumulation, at least until he could perfectly integrate the elemental force with his own physique.

”Aura of Arcanum, merge into my body, elemental transformation...”

Finally, under the expected gaze of everyone, Emperor Gan used his ace, as there was no way his basic strength could contend against Agrimond.

”Arcane Great Array, the renowned witchcraft of Dagmos back in the day, possessed the ability to traverse seamlessly...”

Agrimond gazed around at Emperor Gan, who was placing array foundations everywhere, speaking to himself in whispers but with only anticipation and no sign of worry.

Even with the support of this Arcane Great Array, the absolute gap between the two could never truly be bridged.

Once, Agrimond was one of the countless gladiator wizards advancing toward the goal of an Abyssal King. He once looked on with longing as Dagmos employed the Arcane Great Array in the Two-Star Sacred Tower Abyss Arena to defeat challengers aiming for his Abyssal King title. The intense desire and longing Agrimond had at the time were still vividly etched in his memory.

Within the Arcane Great Array, how exactly did Dagmos manage to defeat one challenger after another?

Now, having grown into an Abyssal King himself, he could finally learn the answer through his brother.

Even if, between two wizard brothers, witchcraft would vary inevitably...

With Emperor Gan’s Arcane Great Array complete, sound waves vibrated incessantly within the massive purple-golden magic circle, reverberating outside the magic array.

Apart from the Stigma Sorcerers above the Abyssal Demon Clouds, people could only guess what was happening inside the great array through the sound waves.

...

An hourglass moment later.

A disheveled figure shot out from the purple-golden magic great array, escaping directly into the teleportation array without pausing, and the moment this person vanished, the attention from the will of the Wizard World disappeared as well.

The creatures defeated in the Abyssal Holy Tower Arena would lose the attention of the world’s will!

As the purple-golden great array gradually dissipated, only Agrimond, standing with the crimson warhammer on his shoulder, remained in the arena.

Whoa...

The arena erupted in excitement; all the audience wizards roared and shouted as Agrimond continued to maintain his title as the Abyssal King!

Yet, within the arena, Agrimond did not revel in victory, as though the win were merely expected. His brows furrowed tightly, mumbling to himself.

”Indeed, it’s still lacking! The attention from the world’s will is insufficient, and I’ve had enough of this passive waiting!”

Suddenly, Agrimond tore off the collar around his neck, a space magic guiding witch device, and amidst the audience’s gasps, numerous Witch Essences, Energy Barytes, Wizard Currencies, and various precious resources poured out, piling into what seemed like a small mountain.

By Green’s estimation, just the number of Witch Essences in this mound could easily exceed ten thousand. His heart couldn’t help but thump wildly, and a flicker of greed flashed deep in his eyes.

Such wealth would even make a Stigma Sorcerer’s heart thump, let alone low-grade wizards.

Yet, Agrimond stood nonchalantly before the accumulated wealth. Casually, he tossed his space magic guiding witch device into the pile, then slowly raised his head, gazing at the four figures of Shadow of Despair Grimm, King of the Jewel Sea Labulad, Forest Essence Mieljis, and Mechanical Burst Fighter Holmzi outside the black barrier of the arena.

”No matter who among you challenges me, win or lose, they will receive all my life’s wealth here! This wealth is enough to establish a Wizard Academy, a mechanical factory, a large family city infrastructure on the Wizard Continent, or even purchase claims for some coastal islands from the Holy Towers! No contracts needed, all wizards of the Tristar Holy Tower Abyss Arena are witnesses, who dares to challenge?!”

”Who dares to challenge?!”

”Who dares to challenge?!”

”Who dares to challenge?!”

...

In an instant, a wave of roaring erupted from the entire arena, all the wizards shouting ”Challenge,” like relentless surges, echoing on and on.

At such a moment, the eyes of all wizards gathered upon the four figures in the sky, and even those great beings above the clouds gazed intently.

Whichever of the four steps forward, regardless of victory or defeat, will gain this astonishing wealth. Yet due to the special barrier of the Abyssal Holy Tower Arena, failing would mean losing the attention of the will of the Wizard World, who dares to challenge?

Surrounded by tidal roars, this small area remained deathly quiet, eerily silent, with each person’s body unnaturally stiff.

This was the true reason Agrimond invited them to view the match at the Tristar Holy Tower Abyss Arena! (To be continued. If you like the work, visit for voting and monthly tickets, your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please read at m..)
