A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 713: Chapter 713: Instructor Green

Five years later.

At the age of thirty-eight, an ordinary human in the Wizard World is in the prime of their life, yet about to enter middle age. However, for wizard apprentices who often live two to three hundred years, this is an age of youthful accomplishment, spirited energy, and a bright outlook for the future.

Each day in the future holds countless changes, and every day’s newfound knowledge is so fresh. There is an unimaginable enthusiasm and passion for the study of wizardry, life blooming like a flower in the morning sun.

Green had also experienced such years.

The purple-grey lightning patterned mage robe allowed for one Elemental Teleport, the Essence Chain in the left hand could cast a light and shadow refraction illusion, and the Heart of Rage Magic Wand in the right hand enhanced natural elemental witchcraft attacks by thirty degrees and increased thunder elemental attacks by another thirty degrees!

Cappuccino flew steadily over the jagged peaks, eyes deep in thought.

”The location Instructor Green gave me for this mission is between the Blood Bone Tower Sorcerer Academy, the Vine Ghost Orchid Sorcerer Academy, and the Wailing Hurricane Sorcerer Academy. It’s the most dangerous mission among the Dark Wizard apprentices, yet he only gave me a few companions of this level, humph...”

Cappuccino seemed to already understand Green’s intentions.

Over the years, having completed Male Poison Body Refining, Magnetic Field Circulation, and with several advanced Magic Guide Instruments left by his grandfather, Cappuccino had gained strength far beyond the ordinary wizard apprentice, progressing faster than many wizard apprentices could imagine. However, as Cappuccino’s mentor, Green was well aware of this.

A month ago, Cappuccino had officially become the leader of the Illusory Bone organization at the academy and had subtly suppressed the organizations of the other two academies!

”It seems that the mentor wants me to experience some setbacks, to be more restrained?”

Shaking his head, he looked helplessly at the wizard apprentices on the ground far away who were looking up at his figure and chasing after him. Cappuccino sighed, ”Really, can it be that as a Third-Level Great Sorcerer, the mentor is afraid I’ll overshadow him and make him lose face? Mentor, ah...”

Muttering to himself, Cappuccino had no intention of waiting for those few wizard apprentices whose combat power barely mattered, continuously adjusting the Repulsion Attraction Dual Force, flying towards the destination.

”Fine, let’s see what kind of setback the mentor plans to arrange for me.”

...

Seven days later.

Cappuccino stood alone against six wizard apprentices, unafraid, as a gentle breeze rustled the purple-grey magic guide wizard robe, a smile on his face.

”The full mining rights of this snow inkstone essence mine for the next three years should belong to the Blood Bone Tower Sorcerer Academy.”

After closing the Mission Scroll, behind Cappuccino, a five-meter-tall Thunder Elemental Giant rose from the ground, flapping its wings, its body crackling with arcs of electricity, exuding a formidable presence.

Opposite, the six wizard apprentices were formidable, each with magic fluctuations comparable to the elders within the Illusory Bone. Especially the one in the center, riding a six-meter-wing-spanned Snow Eagle, whose magic fluctuations gave Cappuccino an incredibly unfathomable and terrifying feeling!

A ruby ring adorned the middle finger, under the eagle-like brows, sharp cold eyes complementing the Snow Eagle. Enveloped in icy power, the resplendent crystal stone at the tip of the magic wand in the right hand emitted a chilling force, causing snowflakes to fall around the body.

”Hahahahaha, who would’ve thought a wizard apprentice from the Blood Bone Tower Sorcerer Academy would dare speak to the Frost Will like this! So amusing, it seems there’s going to be another main force against the Light Wizard Legion in this Chaos Camp?”

In front of the Snow Eagle apprentice, a female witch apprentice laughed sharply, looking at Cappuccino with an indescribable taunting expression.

The wizard apprentice riding the Snow Eagle was even the first to be recognized by the Chaos Camp as a Legendary Sorcerer Apprentice!

And at this time, there were still more than sixty years until the Holy Towers qualification battle.

”Frost Will!?”

After being stunned for a while, Cappuccino suddenly raised his head in silence, his eyes sparkling and exclaimed, ”It even has a nickname. Does this mean the mentor wants me to teach this wizard apprentice a lesson, to remind her not to be overly arrogant and complacent?”

Neither side intended to negotiate, and a localized conflict between the Blood Bone Tower Sorcerer Academy and the Vine Ghost Orchid Sorcerer Academy began. Amidst exclamations, the sound of ”boom boom” explosions was incessant!

Boom!

A wizard apprentice transformed into a tree demon was sent flying a dozen meters away, his ribs shattering in large parts, spitting out fragments of internal organs, his body crackling with electric arcs in a state of paralysis.

Looking at Cappuccino, this wizard apprentice’s eyes were filled with shock.

”Ugh... What terrifying brute force, even mastering the rare Thunder Element Paralyzing Rune, since when did the Blood Bone Tower Sorcerer Academy have such a formidable female witch apprentice?”

Not only him, but anyone who engaged in close combat with this terrifying female witch apprentice, except for the one with the ice and snow will, could not withstand even a casual hit from her, her attacks reaching over a hundred degrees!

”Ah...”

The female witch apprentice, who had just been sharply mocking Cappuccino, let out a wailing scream as her body was sent flying backward, half of her body stained with blood, looking more dead than alive.

Bang!

The female witch apprentice skidded across the ground after falling, the surface cracking with a ”crack, crack” sound; her consciousness lost, teetering on the brink of death.

”Luriannelis!”

Seemingly very close, a male wizard apprentice, who was also severely wounded by Cappuccino, roared and rushed towards the female witch apprentice, attempting a last rescue.

Rumble, rumble, rumble, rumble...

The battle continued, elemental waves endless. Cappuccino not only held his own against Snow Eagle, the legendary sorcerer apprentice known as the ice and snow will, but also severely wounded or killed the other five wizard apprentices, his wild heart magic wand in hand showing a hint of the style of Green’s former Horned Skull Magic Wand.

Gradually, due to the initial outbursts, Cappuccino began to fall into a disadvantage against the ice and snow will, his body suffering several frost injuries.

Howl...

The Thunder Elemental Giant was scattered by Snow Eagle’s claws, the ice and snow force swirling around the wand in the hands of the ice and snow will, forming a faint image of an angry ice and snow head more than ten meters in size in the sky.

Cappuccino panted heavily, his left chest reddening with blood under the ice crystals, numbed, looking up at the angry ice and snow head in the sky, yet without a trace of escape or despair on his face.

The ground beneath scarred with varying-sized craters from the frequent battles, tears welled in Cappuccino’s eyes as he excitedly said, ”Grandfather, I’m about to perform the witchcraft you were most proud of, I’ve fulfilled your expectations, I’m no longer the playful little girl I once was!”

With a roar, strange runes emerged from Cappuccino’s body, creating a strange elemental resonance with the surrounding elements, an esoteric witchcraft knowledge even Green hadn’t encountered.

On Snow Eagle, the ice and snow will, originally watching Cappuccino with an appreciative, confident, and assured look, suddenly raised its head, staring in horror at the sky.

Above the whirlwind of clouds, a terrifying arc of lightning was gathering, ready to descend from the heavens at any moment.

”Thunder Summoning Technique!”

Rumble!

The ice and snow head raised its head, roaring amidst the magic fluctuation of the ice and snow will, striving to resist this desperate and horrifying lightning attack.

...

”Gah!? Young master, this girl is extraordinary, hiding such a skill!”

The battle over, Green had originally intended to let Cappuccino hone against the only legendary sorcerer apprentice in the Chaos Camp, but unexpectedly, Cappuccino instead defeated the opponent.

This chief disciple of his likely had reached or even surpassed the heights he achieved during the qualification war of the Holy Towers.

Behind the Face of Truth, Green looked at the lone figure of Cappuccino flying back to the Blood Bone Tower Sorcerer Academy from afar with a sigh, suddenly using Elemental Teleport to catch the faltering Cappuccino.

”Instructor!?”

Cappuccino widened his eyes in disbelief, finding himself on his instructor’s back.

Hmm, and there’s Master Eight too.

”Rest well; after returning to the academy, you’ll have three days to say goodbye to your friends here. You’ve already met my expectations, and there’s not much room for your growth here anymore.”

Feeling infinitely reliable, infinitely secure, and infinitely warm, Cappuccino curled up like a kitten on his instructor’s back, softly murmuring, ”No need, Instructor. Over the years, I’ve always been waiting for this day, knowing that someday we would leave here.”
