Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 731: Chapter 381: Geeta: State Your Wish_2

Naoki’s figure is tall, his eyebrows and eyes are deep, and his face is handsome.

Perhaps it is due to years of farming, his skin is a little tanned by the sun, but this only makes him appear more mature and stable, giving off a sense of reliability.

Naoki who helps others, Naoki who takes care of Pokemon, Naoki when cooking, Naoki being serious...

Lono’s gaze was involuntarily attracted.

Seeing the smile on Naoki’s lips, she couldn’t help but reveal a radiant smile as well.

Just then, Naoki turned to look over, seeing Lono watching him, Naoki was quite surprised: ”What’s the matter?”

Lono quickly withdrew her gaze, shaking her head: ”It’s nothing, nothing.”

Naoki: ”...”

Lono changed the subject: ”Have you ever helped someone heal before?”

Naoki: ”Not exactly, Grusha was the first, but I did help other Trainers heal their Pokemon before.”

”That Pokemon was also seriously injured, and with the current medical technology, it was impossible to heal it. If things continued like that, death was inevitable.”

Lono understood, she grinned and said: ”That Trainer must have been very happy, right?”

Naoki recalled Alder’s appearance, nodded: ”Yes, he helped me out a lot as a thank you!”

At this moment, Grusha ran back.

His face was rosy, his expression excited, he rushed up and gave Naoki a big hug.

Naoki: ”???”

Grusha let go, gratefully saying: ”Thank you, Naoki!”

Only then did Naoki realize why Grusha suddenly made such a move.

He smiled and said: ”No need for thanks, it was just a lift of a hand.”

But Grusha insisted, shaking his head: ”No matter what, I have to thank you.”

Naoki was just about to say something, then saw Grusha’s Pokemon also excitedly surrounding him.

Naoki pointed at them and said: ”Your Pokemon are worried about you too!”

Grusha turned around, looking at the group of Pokemon that had accompanied him for so long.

Alolan Ninetales, Frosmoth, Beartic, Cetitan, Weavile, Altaria.

Each Pokemon’s eyes were full of joyful light, they looked at their Trainer brightly.

Grusha was moved, he wiped the fog from his eyes, opened his mouth: ”Everyone... I’m sorry, I have made you worry during this period!”

”Oo~!”

The Alolan Ninetales at the front stood up, emitting a melodious call from its mouth.

Grusha reached out his hand, gently stroking Alolan Ninetales’ head.

Seeing this, the other Pokemon also gathered around, all of them happy for their Trainer’s restored health.

Grusha’s face always wore a smile, reaching out to gently stroke each of his Pokemon.

A scene of great reunion.

Naoki stood in the back watching this scene, couldn’t help but ask: ”Is this Grusha’s true personality?”

Lono smiled and nodded: ”Yes, that’s right! Grusha is actually very lively and cheerful!”

”It really is surprising.” Naoki sighed.

After soothing the Pokemon that had been accompanying him, Grusha then came to the two of them.

Lono grinned at him: ”Congratulations, Grusha!”

Naoki asked: ”Do you have any plans afterward? Are you planning to continue as the Glaseado Gym Leader, or go back to the ski resort as an athlete?”

This question no longer needed to be tangled with.

Grusha glanced at Naoki, then at Lono, and laughed softly:

”Do you remember comforting me before, letting the past be past, people need to look forward.”

Lono nodded and said: ”That’s right! So have you made up your mind now?”

Grusha gently nodded: ”The past is already past, now I am just Grusha, the Glaseado Gym Leader, I want to live with everyone, and face the challenges of Trainers together!”

The few Pokemon standing in a row behind Grusha responded to him with voices.

”I understand.” Naoki joked: ”If that’s the case, I’m relieved. To be honest, I was just worried that you’d resign from being a Gym Leader to return to the arena, and the Glaseado Gym would be unmanaged, and the chief would come to scold me!”

Grusha burst into laughter.

Lono imagined the scene and chuckled: ”The chief is not like that at all, she would drag you to the Glaseado Gym to let you work there for Grusha.”

”Then forget it!” Naoki shook his head repeatedly: ”It’s too cold at Glaseado Mountain, the Cyclizar can’t get used to it.”

Meanwhile, at the Paldea League Headquarters.

Geeta was busy dealing with the wild Pokemon wreaking havoc in the city, ruining the power grid system, suddenly sneezed several times.

Geeta had dark circles under her eyes but didn’t pay attention.

Behind her, Rika leaned against the door frame, arms crossed, looking at the Glimmet entwined in Geeta’s hair, couldn’t help but say: ”Chief, you should go take a rest.”

Geeta didn’t turn around: ”There are still some things unfinished, by the way, did you see the power outage incident in Weimu City yesterday?”

Rika: ”...You gave that matter to Larry this morning, by now, he should be there!”

”Oh.” Only then did Geeta put down her work, embarrassedly smiled: ”In that case, I really should go and rest a bit.”
