Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 728: Chapter 380: Koraidon, Cyclizar, and Lono_2

”The same goes for Gogoat; I usually let them use Grass Energy to cultivate the crops in the fields, which not only ensures the healthy growth of the crops but also trains their ability to control Grass Type Energy.”

Hearing this, Grusha couldn’t help but relate it to himself.

He fell into deep thought and couldn’t snap out of it for a long time.

Just then, Koraidon, who was training on the other side, ran over with Cyclizar and Dragonair to find Naoki.

Because one Dragonair didn’t control its strength well during the sparring, the opposing Dragonair got injured and lost its ability to fight.

After understanding the situation, Naoki immediately took out Life Sheep Milk to feed the injured Dragonair.

Dragonair soon woke up and slowly opened its eyes.

Upon seeing Naoki, it immediately snuggled up to him affectionately.

Naoki quickly turned his head to look around and was relieved to see his Dragonite wasn’t paying attention.

He reached out to pat Dragonair’s head and said, ”Okay, okay, have a rest first. Go play in Snorlax Park for a while!”

”Woo~”

A few Dragonair flew away together.

Lono looked brightly at their backs; she was just about to say something when she suddenly noticed an unignorable gaze on her.

Lono turned her head and saw Naoki’s Koraidon squatting on the grass, looking back.

She was slightly stunned, then cheerfully greeted Koraidon, ”Long time no see, Koraidon! How have you been lately?”

”Aga hiss~” Koraidon nodded its big head continuously.

Naoki noticed this scene. He looked at Koraidon, then at Lono, and suddenly realized that his Koraidon seemed to like Lono quite a bit?

Lono then looked at Cyclizar nearby.

Then she noticed something.

”Naoki, doesn’t Koraidon look a bit like Cyclizar?”

Both look like motorcycles, with airbags on their chests resembling tires...

Naoki smiled and nodded, ”That’s right. Some data say Koraidon is what Cyclizar looked like in the past, but whether it’s true or not, who knows.”

”However, the Paldea Region doesn’t have Koraidon as a native Pokemon; it was a Pokemon discovered by Professor Sada in the Paldea Giant Pit, and though it looks fierce, it’s quite gentle in nature!”

Hearing Naoki praise it, Koraidon let out a joyful growl.

”Aga hiss!”

Naoki smiled and reached out to pat its head.

Cyclizar watched this scene with eyes full of envy.

It also wanted to snuggle up to Naoki like Koraidon...

Naoki didn’t notice Cyclizar’s expression, but Lono did.

She squinted her eyes, feeling she had discovered something significant.

Naoki has caught so many Pokemon that Cyclizar seems to be neglected!

Cyclizar keenly sensed a gaze on itself and turned its head, seeing a human looking at it.

”Gao?”

Lono waved and greeted, ”Hi, Cyclizar!”

Cyclizar blinked its eyes, looking adorably clueless, ”Gao...”

At this moment, Grusha snapped out of his thoughts, feeling enlightened, and solemnly thanked Naoki.

”Thank you very much; I understand now why the head instructed us to come to you.”

Grusha used formal language.

Naoki immediately felt a bit embarrassed, ”It’s not that grand... just use informal language, you see, Lono calls me just by my name.”

But Grusha was very insistent.

Naoki: ”...”

Before they knew it, it was noon, and Naoki invited the two to stay for lunch at the ranch.

As lunch was almost ready, the Pokémon playing outside all ran back into the house.

Seeing this group of Pokemon, Grusha and Lono were once again amazed by the rare Pokemon in the ranch.

Even Calyrex The King of Bountiful Harvests and its two loyal steeds were in the ranch!

Grusha sat beside this Legendary Pokemon feeling an indescribable confusion.

Can Legendary Pokemon watch TV like humans do...

Especially since Calyrex greeted him with a friendly smile.

Grusha was stunned.

This made him more convinced that Naoki was indeed a Champion-level Trainer with years of travel experience.

Lono, on the other hand, noticed something else.

She observed how these Pokemon interacted with Naoki.

Pokemon like Koraidon, Pawmot, Alcremie, and Ogerpon expressed their fondness for Naoki very directly.

They would actively run up to interact with Naoki, letting him pet them.

Only one Pokemon didn’t do this; it just stood at a reasonable distance, looking enviously at everything.

”Cyclizar is neglected...” Lono murmured in her heart.

Such situations occur from time to time among some Trainers.

When a Trainer catches too many Pokemon, some of them inevitably get neglected.

After all, there’s only one Trainer, and they can’t fairly allocate their affection to every Pokemon.

For this reason, major Leagues advise Trainers to carry only six Pokemon during their journeys.

Thinking this, Lono couldn’t help but call out, ”Cyclizar!”

Cyclizar turned its head upon hearing its name.

Lono encouraged it, ”You can go up to Naoki and seek him out, just like Koraidon! He will definitely notice you!”
