750 Chapter 750 391: How Can There Be Such a Perfect Pokemon as Gholdengo?! 2026-11-03

”Alright, go play!”

Naoki waved at a few Pokemon, then grabbed some scallion seeds and, together with Farfetch’d, arrived at a plot of land.

This land was originally planted with a crop of spinach, which he had just harvested the other day, and hadn’t yet had time to sow the next batch of crops.

Now, it was just right to be used for building the Scallion Garden for Farfetch’d.

He called Dugtrio over and asked it to help plow the land.

Dugtrio chirped once and then quickly started its work.

It plowed the land in front while Naoki followed behind planting scallions.

Soon, the entire plot of farmland was filled with scallions.

Naoki patted the dirt off his hands, turned back to Farfetch’d, and asked, ”Are you eager to change your weapon?”

Farfetch’d looked at the scallion in its hand and shook its head, ”Quack!”

It could still use this old scallion for a while longer.

”Well, let’s leave it at that for now,” Naoki nodded. ”Next, we just need to water and fertilize these scallions regularly. Before long, they’ll grow.”

Farfetch’d looked expectantly, ”Quack!”

Seeing this, Naoki smiled, then called Gogoat over, asking them to use Grass Type Energy to help Farfetch’d cultivate the scallions.

Gogoat agreed happily and surrounded the Scallion Garden, releasing green Grass Energy from their bodies to nurture the scallions buried in the soil.

Now with its mind set on scallions, Farfetch’d even stopped practicing its Scallion Techniques.

Growing its own scallions was something it had never thought of doing.

Previously, when Farfetch’d lived in that forest, there was a food crisis.

To cope with the crisis, it ate the emergency scallion in its hand and had to run far away to find another scallion.

Wild Farfetch’d were like this; when their scallions went bad, they found new ones, never thinking of growing them themselves.

Now, it had the chance to see so many scallions growing simultaneously and, once they all matured, it could pick the strongest scallion to serve as its new weapon.

Just the thought of it filled Farfetch’d with immense joy.

”Quack!”

It’s decided! It wanted to ask Naoki how to plant scallions and cultivate them personally!

So, as soon as Naoki returned home, he saw Farfetch’d coming up to him.

Upon hearing its thoughts, Naoki pondered briefly and then said:

”Dragonite is responsible for watering, and Gogoat will also help cultivate the scallions.”

Farfetch’d felt a bit disappointed, ”Quack.” Was there nothing it could do?

”Hmm...” Naoki thought carefully and suggested, ”You could use your Scallion Techniques to watch over the Scallion Garden, preventing any wild Pokemon from causing damage.”

Previously, there were wild bird Pokemon on the ranch that secretly entered the fields to eat the corn and wheat.

Initially, Naoki even placed a scarecrow in the fields.

But it turned out the scarecrow had no effect on those bird Pokemon, as they were much smarter than ordinary birds.

Later on, it was Koraidon who drove away the wild Pokemon.

It didn’t even need to take action—just lounging on the grass next to the field and releasing its Dragon Type Pokemon pressure was enough to keep the bird-like Pokemon away.

And for Koraidon, it was a chance to bask in the sun.

Hearing that there was something it could do, Farfetch’d immediately puffed up its chest with a promise, ”Quack!”

This task was left to it! It would certainly keep the fields secure!

To express its gratitude to Naoki, Farfetch’d included the other fields in its patrol range.

”Thanks for your hard work!” Naoki chuckled.

Farfetch’d marched off with its scallion.

From that day on, Farfetch’d began its role as a guard in the fields.

To protect its beloved scallions and ensure their healthy growth, Farfetch’d diligently patrolled between the furrows from morning till night with its scallion in hand.

Life on the ranch continued.

With Farfetch’d’s situation resolved, a few Dragonair playing around the ranch found Naoki and asked for help.

The next morning, Naoki was repairing a fence knocked over by Wooloo at Wooloo Ranch, and a few Dragonair chattered around him in a language he couldn’t understand.

”Hold on!” Naoki paused his work, ate a slice of Translation Nuts Cake that allowed him to understand Pokemon speak, and then continued, ”Alright, go ahead!”

Dragonair’s eyes glittered, ”Roo!” (Naoki, we want special training too!)

”Hmm?” Hearing this, Naoki felt quite surprised.

The weather was a bit hot, so as he sipped iced water, he asked, ”Why’s that? Aren’t you all happy with life now? Why suddenly want special training? It’s quite exhausting!”

The Dragonair shook their heads unanimously, their faces filled with determination.

One of them said, ”Roo!” (We’re not afraid!)

Another nodded and said, ”Roo!” (Indeed! We want to evolve into Dragonite to grow arms so we can help Naoki!)

”Pfft—” Naoki nearly spat out his water.

He looked incredulously at the Dragonair.

Though he secretly hoped that once Dragonair evolved, they could assist with deliveries along with the working Dragonites, he never thought they’d suggest it themselves.

What was this? The Dragonair had such high awareness?

The Dragonair exchanged glances, seemingly puzzled by Naoki’s reaction.

Naoki wiped his mouth, set down the water bottle, and asked, ”Why are you suddenly thinking of helping me work?”

The Dragonair blinked, talking joyfully and innocently:

”Ro-ro-roo!” (Because Naoki always makes delicious Poffins and pastries for us. Naoki is so good; we want to help him too!)

Naoki understood, realizing the Dragonair were expressing their gratitude.

Hearing such sincere words, Naoki felt deeply touched.

Pokemon...this is what Pokemon are all about!

Inherently simple and grateful, if you treat them well, they reciprocate.

Naoki took a deep breath, patting the heads of each Dragonair affectionately, moved:

”Good kids, I understand—I appreciate your sentiments.”

”Roo~”

The Dragonair affectionately nuzzled against him.

Naoki couldn’t help but smile.

Decided! From now on, the Dragonair family is his favorite Pseudo-legendary Pokemon!

To reciprocate the sentiments of these five Dragonair, Naoki immediately enrolled them in the training class Koraidon held for Cyclizar.

”Koraidon, please take care of the Dragonair! Teach them some Dragon Type moves and help them grow!”

”Cyclizar, from now on, Dragonair are your classmates. Koraidon’s strength is far greater than yours, so you can spar with the Dragonair to gain experience through battles.”

”I’ll often come by to oversee your progress!”

Koraidon sighed helplessly, ”Ah-gas...”

But Cyclizar seemed delighted, looking at the Dragonair and welcoming them, ”Gao!”

Meanwhile, across the river at the Snorlax Park.

Dragonite, Ogerpon, Butterfree, Glaceon, Eevee, Pawmot, Alcremie, and other Pokemon gathered there.

They surrounded a napping Snorlax, forming a circle, looking at the black scale on Dragonite’s claw.

”Pawma...?”

Pawmot had a puzzled expression. Through this scale, could they really summon that world-saving hero Pokemon?

Yesterday afternoon, Dragonite and Ogerpon recounted to it and Glaceon their extraordinary encounter that night and the tale of the great hero Rayquaza.

Pawmot and Glaceon were extremely curious.

To prove it to them, after watering the fields, Dragonite called several Pokemon over to the Snorlax Park.

It planned to summon Rayquaza and invite it to the ranch for a visit to rekindle their bonds.
