Chapter 550: Chapter 313: Coffee and Flutter Mane

After spending a day together yesterday, Flutter Mane has gradually begun to accept these gentle, innocent, and lively Pokemon.

It watched Glaceon, who was angrily chasing Alcremie, and couldn’t help but smile, seemingly finding the scene amusing.

Glaceon noticed the smiling Flutter Mane and thought it was being laughed at, turning even redder in the face, and immediately got angry, turning its back on Alcremie.

Seeing that Glaceon was upset, Alcremie quickly ran over to apologize, then smeared cream all over its face, turning it into a big cat, thus earning Glaceon’s forgiveness.

Flutter Mane’s gaze remained fixed on this scene, and the smile on its face grew clearer.

Naoki had been observing Flutter Mane all along.

From this perspective, Flutter Mane isn’t much different from Pawmo and the others now!

The plan to guide Flutter Mane was a great success, and Naoki finally felt relieved.

Friendly emotions are contagious, not to mention that Alcremie and Pawmo naturally have very cheerful and lively personalities, enjoying making friends.

Given more time, Flutter Mane should be able to gradually integrate into the life of the pasture with the help of these Pokemon!

Thinking of this, Naoki naturally thought of the two professors at the Area Zero Research Institute.

He wondered what methods they used to help the Paradox Pokemon adapt to this era.

In the game, the two AI professors commanded their captured Paradox Pokemon to battle against players.

And being able to get such fierce Paradox Pokemon to obey them clearly shows that the two professors succeeded too.

But unfortunately, by then, it was all too late.

Too many Paradox Pokemon had come into this era, with some breaking through the defensive line of the Paldea Giant Pit and entering the Paldea Region.

No matter what methods Professor Sada and Professor Turo used to tame the Paradox Pokemon, they couldn’t possibly have the same effect on so many Paradox Pokemon all at once.

Forget it! There’s no point in thinking about it! Even if he thought, he couldn’t stop it.

Naoki put aside these chaotic thoughts and then said to the group of Pokemon in front of him:

”It’s time to eat. After we eat, I’m going into town.”

”Bamor?” Pawmo immediately asked.

Naoki understood what it meant and replied, ”We’re running low on food at home, so I’ll go buy more meat for you!”

There’s no need to buy eggs, milk, or vegetables, as they’re grown in the pasture and can be picked and eaten directly from the fields.

After breakfast, Naoki left the household chores to the Indeedee Sibling to manage, then rode the Cyclizar to Porto Marinada Town.

Koraidon, who was more familiar with Flutter Mane, was left at home to play with the Pokemon.

Koraidon: ”Aga-sigh...”

Lying on the grass, Koraidon stared idly at the Pokemon playing nearby, not joining in.

Because it was already a big Pokemon and couldn’t roll around freely on the grass and mud like the young ones.

Once Naoki arrived at Porto Marinada Town, he headed straight to the Porto Marinada Market to stock up on groceries.

Being a coastal town, Porto Marinada not only sells meat but also seafood.

Things like shrimp, big crabs, squid, oysters, clams, and mussels.

Seeing these things, Naoki suddenly got a craving for seafood and ended up buying several thousand League Coins worth of seafood to make a seafood feast at home.

Remembering some videos of sea foraging he’d watched in his previous life, Naoki suddenly became interested.

Perhaps in a few days, he could visit the seaside to see if he could find any crabs, clams, mussels, or sea snails.

After finishing his shopping, Naoki planned to head straight home.

Riding the Cyclizar through the streets of Porto Marinada, Naoki suddenly noticed a newly opened antique shop in the distance.

At first, he gave it no thought and walked past its entrance.

But not long after, Naoki remembered the Gimmighoul hiding in his home tavern.

So far, he hadn’t had much interaction with it.

Naoki had a fondness for Gimmighoul as a Pokemon.

The Gholdengo it evolves into is exceedingly rare, not only collectible but also serving as a lucky charm in the tavern.

But to evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo, it requires 999 ancient Paldea Gold Coins.

With this thought, Naoki wondered if this antique shop might have coins that the elusive Gimmighoul would like?

If so, he could give the coins to Gimmighoul to strengthen their bond...
