Chapter 517: Chapter 298: Koraidon’s Experience—Can Paradox Pokemon Breed Eggs? (Double-Length) (2)

In the beginning, due to those experiences in ancient times, it couldn’t get along well with Cyclizar.

Especially when it saw Cyclizar getting close to Naoki, it would always feel jealous and angry.

At that time, Cyclizar probably sensed its emotions too, so it was always cautious around it.

It wasn’t until later that Koraidon slowly adapted to everything and reluctantly accepted Cyclizar’s presence.

Thinking about it now, this was something it had experienced before!

Having obtained the information he wanted and with Professor Sada waiting, Naoki turned and left to give Professor Sada a reply.

In front of the video phone, Naoki told Professor Sada the information he learned from Koraidon.

”I asked Koraidon if it had ever made friends before, and Koraidon said it indeed had friends.”

Hearing this answer, a look of joy appeared on Professor Sada’s face.

Flutter Mane...

Naoki pondered for a moment and then agreed to Professor Sada’s request: ”We will depart for the Paldea Giant Pit tomorrow.”

Since that Flutter Mane is Koraidon’s friend, it means the two Pokemon can get along without fighting like other Paradox Pokemon.

Does this mean he can capture that Flutter Mane?

Professor Sada’s eyes lit up slightly: ”In that case, Turo and I will be waiting for you and Koraidon at the institute!”

With those words, the call ended.

Naoki found the Indeedee Sibling and told them about his temporary departure.

The siblings immediately assured him that they would take good care of the house so he could leave with peace of mind.

Naoki was incredibly confident in the management abilities of the Indeedee Sibling.

So early the next morning, he flew to the Paldea Giant Pit on Koraidon.

Koraidon was also a little excited, as it had been a long time since they last parted, and it wondered how that Flutter Mane was doing now.

At top speed, it took just over two hours to fly from the ranch to the top of the Paldea Giant Pit.

Looking at the small world below shrouded in vast, ethereal clouds, Naoki couldn’t help but feel a sense of wonder.

The last time he came, he witnessed those violent Paradox Pokemon, and the entirely different ecological habits from modern Pokemon left a deep impression on him.

Thinking about it, Naoki suddenly lost the desire to explore.

As the saying goes, familiarity breeds comfort.

This time he didn’t stop midway but instead flew straight down through the entire pit on Koraidon, arriving at the Area Zero Research Institute at the bottom layer.

Professor Sada was already prepared to receive them.

She looked at Koraidon with a beaming smile and greeted it: ”Long time no see, Koraidon!”

”Ah gah sss~”

Standing beside Koraidon, Naoki nodded slightly to Professor Sada.

Professor Sada nodded back and then turned to lead the way:

”Follow me! That Flutter Mane is now hiding in the institute ahead; it seems to be very shy. Even Turo and I couldn’t lure it out, so it will be up to you and Koraidon.”

”Shy?” Naoki was taken aback because this was obviously an adjective that shouldn’t appear with Paradox Pokemon.

Professor Sada understood his point, nodded, and said, ”This Flutter Mane is special, the most similar to modern Pokemon among all Paradox Pokemon I’ve seen.”

At this, Professor Sada suddenly seemed to remember something, slapped her forehead, and said, ”Ah, I almost forgot about your Koraidon!”

Naoki looked down at Koraidon walking beside him.

Professor Sada mumbled a hypothesis: ”So, is there some unknown connection between the two?”

Is it Flutter Mane that was influenced by Koraidon and changed its temperament, or was it Koraidon affected by Flutter Mane and became calmer...

Hmm, that’s a question.

As a Pokemon research doctor, I must learn to make bold assumptions and carefully verify them.

Professor Sada looked at Koraidon, and thinking of that Flutter Mane, a fantastic idea flashed across her mind.

She covered her mouth in surprise: ”Could it be that in the distant past, Koraidon and Flutter Mane were from the same egg group?”

Hearing this, Naoki was momentarily dumbfounded.

Egg group? Could it be...

He also looked at Koraidon in shock and murmured: ”Could it be that Koraidon and Flutter Mane fell in love with each other?”

Just like how Tropius fell in love with Miss Joy’s Meganium in the anime.

Professor Sada calmly analyzed: ”Although we haven’t found any examples of Paradox Pokemon breeding, we cannot rule out the possibility.”

At this moment, understanding the implication in their conversation, Koraidon quickly shook its head: ”Ah gah sss!”

That’s not it! It and Flutter Mane are just good friends!

Naoki saw Koraidon’s meaning and asked: ”Is that not the case?”

”Ah gah sss!” Koraidon nodded its big head affirmatively.

Seeing this, Professor Sada couldn’t help but speculate again: ”Then could it be that Flutter Mane fell in love with Koraidon, responding to the Time Machine’s call and following its footsteps here?”

Koraidon: ”...”
