Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 543: Chapter 311: Zapdos’ Plan (Double-Length)_2

[Year 90530.]

[Year 89650.]

[Year 89220.]

[Year 87600.]

Finally, the number stopped at 87600 years.

When the light enveloping the World Tree completely disappeared, an even sturdier, more lush, and vibrant tree appeared before Naoki and the many Pokémon.

The World Tree now stands at an estimated height of seven meters, nearly reaching eight meters, and the trunk has grown substantially thicker.

What’s even more delightful is that the World Tree has directly transformed from a sprout to a young stage, undoubtedly speeding up its growth pace.

”Indeed, the Leaf Cake’s effects have worked again!” Naoki thought, astonished that it reduced the growth duration by 3620 years, doubling the original time!

”No, it may not be entirely the effect of the Leaf Cake.” Naoki pondered.

Because he remembers Calyrex previously mentioning that the vast people of Paldea provided him with an immense amount of faith, transforming into his strength and elevating his power beyond its peak to a new height!

Plus, the establishment of Calyrex Shrine continuously attracts visitors and Trainers, making more people aware of Calyrex’s existence, thus providing him with more power.

Undoubtedly, he should truly thank Geeta and the Paldea League for this matter.

At this rate, the World Tree will reach its ultimate form in less than four years!

This is truly delightful news!

Naoki looked excitedly towards Calyrex.

Calyrex nodded slightly at him, using Telepathy to say, ”Indeed, my power can accomplish more for the World Tree; it is truly my privilege!”

Koraidon and other Pokémon were also feeling very joyful.

The most shocked among them was Zapdos.

It lifted its head, staring unblinkingly at the World Tree in front.

As a Pokémon, it could sense the unique difference of this tree from others.

Now, the richness of Natural Energy on this tree astounded it immensely!

In that moment, Zapdos no longer doubted; it firmly believed this tree would become a new home for countless Pokémon in the future.

Beside them, Mew and Teddiursa turned towards Zapdos happily after celebrating.

”How is it?” (Didn’t we tell the truth?)

”Miu~” (Stay and live with us~)

Upon hearing this, Zapdos reluctantly pulled away its gaze from the World Tree, turning to look at Teddiursa and Mew.

For these two Pokémon that wanted to live with it and had traveled long distances to find and invite it here, Zapdos felt incredibly moved.

It nodded: ”Chirp!” (I will rely on your guidance in the days to come!)

”Clap!”

Seeing Zapdos agree to live with them, Mew and Teddiursa jumped up in joy and high-fived each other.

Then, they started whispering to Zapdos over there.

Witnessing this scene, Naoki whispered to Calyrex next to him: ”Did it agree to stay?”

Calyrex gently nodded, showing a kind smile on his face: ”I think it has already decided to stay even before coming here.”

Naoki was slightly taken aback, realizing that otherwise, Zapdos wouldn’t have followed Teddiursa and Mew to the ranch.

Since Zapdos plans to stay, next is arranging a temporary place for it.

It will reside there until the World Tree fully matures.

From Mew and Teddiursa, Naoki learned earlier that this Zapdos likes quiet places and doesn’t like being disturbed.

That’s why it chose to live in an abandoned power plant.

Should he build a power supply room in the ranch?

Naoki doesn’t intend to use Zapdos to generate electricity because the ranch’s electricity consumption isn’t exaggerated; both Pawmot and Dragonite can easily supply it.

The idea of building a power supply room arose because he believed Zapdos might appreciate such an electrifying dwelling.

Moreover, the ranch should have a formal power supply room.

With these thoughts, Naoki walked forward, intending to discuss with them.

However, before he could speak, Mew and Teddiursa informed him that Zapdos currently doesn’t plan on staying directly in the ranch.

Naoki was slightly puzzled by this.

What’s going on?

Mew: ”Miu!”

Calyrex stepped forward to help translate: ”They say Zapdos thinks the tree hasn’t matured yet and plans to travel with them, returning once the tree has fully grown.”

A rare hint of gentleness appeared in Zapdos’s sharp gaze, and then it called out to Calyrex, indicating his statement was correct.

Just as Mew and Teddiursa regard it as a good friend, it’s also willing to consider them as good friends and live together from now on.

Therefore, upon learning that Teddiursa and Mew would continue traveling to help Pokémon in need, Zapdos made a plan in its heart.

Once, it had also been aided by the Heroic Expedition Team.

And now, it wishes to join these kind-hearted friends and travel together to help Pokémon in need, while also protecting them.

Naoki understood this finally, and after a moment of surprise, he suddenly realized, is Zapdos going to join the Heroic Expedition Team?
