Reborn As Super Heiress

Upon hearing Huo Sining’s words, Bai Yishan immediately raised an eyebrow: ”You said it yourself, I’ve remembered it. I was just considering collaborating with XiangNai Company this year, but I’m missing a spokesperson. I was thinking about finding a top star domestically, but no suitable candidates came to mind. Now that you’ve hinted at it, I don’t need to rack my brains thinking about which star to find—it’ll be you.”

”Sister Yishan, don’t mess around. It’s the first day of Chinese New Year, and you’re playing tricks on me. That’s a bit much,” Huo Sining remarked, feeling somewhat amused and helpless.

On the other end of the phone, Bai Yishan was serious: ”I’m not joking with you. Your value nowadays is no less than that of top stars. Others might want to invite you but can’t. Do you not realize your own influence? I’ve read the news. Your magic performance overshadowed the programs of other top stars and veteran actors.”

”Besides, inviting other top stars would cost millions in endorsement fees, not to mention they might be demanding, bringing up all kinds of conditions. You’re different—the company is half yours. You wouldn’t ask me for money just to shoot an endorsement ad, would you? I should benefit from this close relationship.”

Listening to Bai Yishan’s somewhat cheeky words, Huo Sining couldn’t help but twitch her lips.

”Alright, since you’re not speaking, I’ll take that as your agreement. This matter is settled, then.”

Seeing Huo Sining not respond, Bai Yishan decisively finalized the endorsement deal and then seemed to think of something, saying to Huo Sining:

”Speaking of which, you’re a celebrity now. Handling phone calls and announcements yourself must be troublesome. You seem a bit impatient this morning, so why not consider getting an agent to handle these tasks for you?”

Huo Sining was taken aback: ”An agent? But I don’t want to join an agency and be confined by regulations. I also have no intention of entering the entertainment industry.”

”I’m not asking you to join an agency. Who says you can’t hire an agent without joining one? My suggestion is to find someone to take calls, manage your social media, and handle public relations. Even if you don’t want to enter showbiz, someone still needs to deal with these trivial matters. No need to join an agency; just find someone trustworthy and announce them as your agent to handle everything.”

Bai Yishan’s words suddenly made Huo Sining realize something, her eyes lighting up. Bai Yishan’s idea was indeed good; she was tired of dealing with unfamiliar calls. These people will always find ways to pester. The best solution was to hire someone to handle these tasks, allowing her some peace.

However, finding the right person wasn’t easy. After hanging up on Bai Yishan, Huo Sining began to ponder seriously.

Since they would manage all her affairs, it had to be someone she absolutely trusted.

Huo Sining sifted through her thoughts for a while; Wu Jun and Li Quan both had important business, and likely couldn’t handle her affairs. Jiang Xiaoqin was also unsuitable; she’s too young, impulsive, and not tactful, easily offending people. Lin Wenwan from Guanyu Beauty Capital Store is too gentle, lacking the toughness needed, likely getting taken advantage of.

After much contemplation, Huo Sining still couldn’t find a suitable candidate. It was then she realized she had very few usable people at hand.

Just as Huo Sining was worrying and planning to ask Gu Xu to recommend a reliable person, her phone suddenly rang with a message notification.

Huo Sining opened it and immediately burst into laughter.

”Goddess, goddess. Yesterday I sat in front of the TV and watched the entire Spring Festival Gala broadcast. You were amazing! Last night’s magic act was even better than the human transformation at S University’s welcome party. Rude question: um, do you take on apprentices?”

The person who texted was Liu Cheng, the brainwashed fan she accidentally encountered when she sent back a batch of Dongyang antiques. She later introduced him to Wu Jun, who praised him as highly adaptable, clever and quick-witted, a great talent.

Originally, Huo Sining intended for Wu Jun to find a suitable position for Liu Cheng. But seeing the message now, inspiration suddenly hit her, sparking another idea.

Her lips curled up into a smile—it was indeed a timely opportunity. She was looking for an agent and was troubled by the lack of candidates, yet Liu Cheng unexpectedly appeared.

In terms of cleverness and intelligence, Liu Cheng certainly had enough. Plus, he’s nearing thirty and more experienced than the two young girls Jiang Xiaoqin and Lin Wenwan.

Although Huo Sining had only met Liu Cheng once, he didn’t abandon his partner in a crisis, calm and loyal, showing his character.

Furthermore, Liu Cheng is her fan and familiar with her affairs, making him a suitable candidate for an agent.

Having thought this, Huo Sining felt intrigued and without hesitation sent Liu Cheng a message:

—No apprentices, but I’m in need of an agent. Would you be interested?

Liu Cheng wanted to call Huo Sining but worried it’d be annoying in the early morning, so he carefully sent a message instead. Without expecting much, he merely aimed to offer his idol some encouragement. Asking about an apprenticeship was a fleeting hope; he knew beforehand Huo Sining definitely wouldn’t take him as a student.

Much to his surprise, shortly after sending the message, he received a reply.

Upon reading the message, Liu Cheng couldn’t believe it. Opening it and seeing the contents left him bewildered, thinking he was dreaming. Instinctively, he pinched his thigh hard.

The sharp pain reminded him this wasn’t a dream but reality. Liu Cheng’s heart pounded wildly, his face flushed, and he was overtaken by excitement. Hands shaking, he eagerly replied with a message.
