Armed Train in the Apocalypse

Chapter 48: Chapter 47: Oh? Four Brothers!

Su Huan looked at Lao Er, who wore a dangerous expression, sweating on his forehead, ”Big brother, at a time like this, where would there still be any government trains? It’s just a group of vicious bandits, relying on their strong arms to hijack the train. That’s not all, they even force us ordinary passengers to go down and find food for him every day...”

”How many of you are there?” Lao Er asked again.

”Over seven hundred.”

”How many of them?”

”Six or seven maybe...”

The three men widened their eyes, ”Six or seven people managed to intimidate hundreds of you?”

Su Huan helplessly said, ”Guys, they’re all ruthless bandits, we’re just ordinary folks, never seen such situations. You didn’t see it, an old man had his wife and daughter taken away, he just cursed a couple of times and was beaten to death.”

”His daughter was a graduate student, really pretty, that slim waist, his wife also, so gentle and demure...”

”What’s the point of talking so much crap, like you touched them.” Lao San said scornfully, seeing Su Huan speaking vividly.

Lao Er cursed angrily, ”These people are truly worthless!”

Su Huan went along and cursed vehemently, ”They’re simply beasts. If we can’t bring back supplies, they beat us, won’t feed us, and make us work for free!”

The three men exchanged a look, Lao Er pointed a gun at Su Huan while the other two turned around.

As they turned, the guns at their waists became visible.

Su Huan squinted his eyes.

[Law Enforcer S1 Tactical Handgun]

Semi-automatic pistol, uses 9mm bullets, 15-round capacity.

He might not be able to recognize other guns, but he had the same model of this one.

Except he left it on the truck since he didn’t have any bullets.

Looks like that person didn’t lie to him in his past life, there was indeed a batch of Law Enforcer equipment on the fire truck, and quite a few of them.

The Boss whispered, ”I think this kid’s story might be true, should we let him go?”

Lao San retorted irritably, ”Bullshit, we caught him already, how can we let him go.”

The Boss questioned, ”Then what do you mean?”

Lao San rubbed his chin, saying in a deep voice, ”Since they can drive the train away, why can’t we? And there are so many people on the train, surely more supplies than here.”

”Do you know how to drive a train?”

”What kind of nonsense is that, we’ve grown up together, do you not know if I can drive a train? But if they can pull it off, clearly there’s a driver on board.”

”I say we follow him back, then take that group down. Anyway, there are just six or seven of them, we three brothers have guns, after succeeding, we can drive the train straight out of Mojiang.”

The Boss hesitated, ”What about this fire truck? We worked so hard...”

”Are you stupid? A fire truck can’t be eaten or drunk, and with so many cars on the road, who knows if we can even drive it out!”

”Anyway, between us three brothers, you’re the smartest, we’ll go with your plan!”

The Boss gritted his teeth and said.

Su Huan glanced out the window, seeing some scattered zombies approaching, feeling slightly impatient, kindly reminded, ”Guys, my car is still outside, it’s quite nice, do you want to get it?”

The group looked at him, Lao San frowned, ”Be honest, don’t play any tricks on me, tell me the situation on the car properly. Boss, you guys go get his car, maybe we’ll need it.”

Soon, only Lao San was left in the compartment.

Su Huan breathed a sigh of relief in his heart, clearly gaining their initial trust.

Lao San started asking for details, Su Huan mixed seven parts truth with three parts falsehood, anyway no one knew more about the armed train than him, interspersed with doomsday panic, spewing snot and tears cursing the train master’s exploitation.

Each incident, each experience, all lived through personally.

After cursing the train master, he shared his feelings.

Although he’s not that panicked now, he was in his past life.

Betrayed by people, separated from brothers, all sorts of human tragedies rolled off his tongue.

Having witnessed it personally, his crying was sincerely emotional.

Lao San even felt a bit sympathetic later on.

Although he wasn’t as miserable as Su Huan, having lived through the apocalypse, fellow sufferers know their own plight, he could empathize more with Su Huan’s small doomsday stories.

When the Boss and Lao Er climbed back in, sweating profusely, they saw Lao San lighting a cigarette for Su Huan, patting him on the shoulder, sighing, ”Say no more, brother understands you. It’s just a woman; as long as I have a bite to eat, so will you. We four brothers united, we can surely live well in this damn world!”

Looking at the dumbfounded Boss and Lao Er, Lao San got annoyed again, ”What’s wrong with you two, call him Fourth Brother!”

The Boss and Lao Er: ”?”

Su Huan wiped the tears on his face, went up and held their hands, earnestly calling out, ”First Brother, Second Brother!”

Although they were clueless, they didn’t have time to correct it, hastily said, ”Forget this for now, zombies are coming!”

”Zombies are coming?”

Lao San got a shock, wiped the few drops of horse urine off his face, and quickly looked out the window, seeing more and more zombies surrounding them.

There were even Tier One evolved zombies, especially the more than two-meter-tall Butcher standing out!

Obviously lured here by Su Huan’s driving spree.

They just gathered into a horde because they ran too slowly.

Su Huan immediately jumped out, saying, ”First Brother, Second Brother, you quickly get in the other two vehicles, I’ll guide you out, let’s rush out quickly!”

Lao San reacted too, throwing the gun in his hand to Su Huan, immediately shouting, ”Yes, hurry up, I’ll drive this vehicle, Fourth Brother you cover me, bullets are in the box behind!”

In a panic, the group started moving based on Su Huan’s decision.

Su Huan, feeling the cool metal on the assault rifle, was over the moon.

To be honest, he kind of liked these three brothers.

Opening the magazine, he saw forty rounds of 7.62 bullets, though somewhat different from the pistol bullets, the tips had a circle of green silver paint, unsure what it was for.

But that didn’t matter; a couple of shots would tell.

”Fourth Brother, stop studying, where should we go next?!”

Lao San shouted urgently.

Su Huan cocked the gun with a click, excitedly said, ”Just charge forward, I’ll tell you when to turn!”

Lao San gritted his teeth, ”Bullshit, it might not ram through!”

”Relax, these small cars weigh only a few tons, the fire truck weighs over ten tons, plus the reinforced front, just ram it!”

”Alright! Ram his mother!”

The fire truck started, accompanied by the roar of the engine, it rammed straight into the small cars ahead.

With its weight and powerful engine, it pushed the small cars to the sides.

But the huge noise drew the horde, zombies started surrounding from all directions.

Their furious howls were heart-pounding.

”Roar——”

Familiar rabid dogs rushed over from the car roof.

Su Huan opened the window, pulled the bolt.

The corner of his mouth crazily lifted, ”Let’s see who’s the luckiest!”
