Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing left the hotel and headed straight for the hospital.

On the way, he called Liu Yuan, but no one answered. With no other option, Ye Qing had to call Mu Qingrong to find out which hospital Liu Yuan was in.

When he arrived at Liu Yuan’s ward, there were seven or eight people inside, all of whom were Liu Yuan’s relatives, including Liu Yuan’s brother-in-law who had sold him a car.

Ye Qing had met him last time when he went to buy a car, and he gave Ye Qing quite a discount, so he obviously recognized Ye Qing. Seeing Ye Qing come in, he quickly stepped out to greet him, ”Ye, you finally came!”

Ye Qing nodded to him and hurriedly rushed into the ward without saying much.

On the hospital bed, Liu Yuan was still attached to various tubes, still in a coma. Beside him, his wife and two children were watching him tearfully, while the other relatives were all full of anxiety.

Liu Yuan was now the renovation king of Shenchuan City and the most capable member of their entire family. The family was relying on Liu Yuan to lead them. Now that Liu Yuan was in such a condition, everyone was understandably worried out of their minds.

Seeing Liu Yuan like this, Ye Qing’s eyes reddened as well. When he first arrived in Shenchuan City, Liu Yuan had helped him the most, and he had always regarded Liu Yuan as his most trusted friend.

Liu Yuan’s brother-in-law walked to the bedside and gently patted Liu Yuan’s wife, whispering, ”Sister, Ye is here!”

Liu Yuan’s wife hurriedly stood up, and upon seeing Ye Qing, tears welled up in her eyes as she sobbed, ”Ye, you must stand up for our Liu Yuan!”

Seeing Liu Yuan’s wife in this state made Ye Qing feel a deep ache in his heart. He let out a long sigh and nodded slowly, saying, ”Sister-in-law, don’t worry, Liu will not be beaten in vain!”

Liu Yuan’s wife could no longer hold back her tears, and Liu Yuan’s brother-in-law recounted the situation at that time, only then did Ye Qing learn what had actually happened.

This incident was clearly premeditated. They went for a gathering to celebrate a recently closed deal. Who would have thought, as soon as they entered the hotel, someone ran into Mu Qingrong and knocked her to the ground.

Mu Qingrong was a young woman, always well-protected by everyone. Moreover, those around her were her subordinates. When they saw Mu Qingrong being knocked over, they were all a bit displeased and said a few words to the person. Little did they know, that person was easily angered, and a quarrel ensued. After a few exchanges, a group of people rushed forward and started a fight.

Mu Qingrong’s subordinates were all white-collar workers and hardly knew how to fight. After a few blows, they all scattered. What was originally a small brawl turned serious when the group wouldn’t let go of Mu Qingrong. Liu Yuan, in order to protect Mu Qingrong, ended up getting beaten up by the leading young man.

Hearing this, Ye Qing’s face turned cold. He knew perfectly well that the other side was deliberately stirring up trouble.

”By the way, at the time my brother-in-law even mentioned Ye and Li’s names, but they completely disregarded it!” Liu Yuan’s brother-in-law said, ”Especially the leader, he even insulted Ye, saying my brother-in-law was abusing his power, and threatened to beat my brother-in-law to death, challenging... challenging Ye to bite him...”

”Hmph!” Ye Qing gritted his teeth and said coldly, ”Does Aomuhan really have the gall to say someone is abusing their power?”

Liu Yuan’s brother-in-law sighed and whispered, ”Ye, I found out that the person who beat my brother-in-law knew martial arts, and it was clear he intended to beat my brother-in-law to death. If it weren’t for the hotel’s staff intervening, my brother-in-law... my brother-in-law would probably not have made it back alive... Ye, you must avenge my brother-in-law!”

”Don’t worry!” Ye Qing patted Liu Yuan’s brother-in-law on the shoulder, turned to look at the unconscious Liu Yuan in the room, and said in a deep voice, ”My brothers, my friends, will not be bullied for nothing!”

Hearing these words, Liu Yuan’s brother-in-law was also filled with excitement, nodding vigorously. He knew that once Ye Qing took action, he would definitely avenge Liu Yuan.

Ye Qing asked in a serious tone, ”What is your brother-in-law’s current condition? What did the doctors say?”

”Fortunately, my brother-in-law was sent to the hospital in time, so there’s no life threat. But the attacker was particularly ruthless, and his internal organs were injured. It’ll take some time to recover. Moreover, my brother-in-law also has stomach issues, which will make eating difficult in the future...” Liu Yuan’s brother-in-law looked pained, truly worried for Liu Yuan. After all, Liu Yuan had been very good to him after becoming Shenchuan City’s renovation king.

”It’s alright, don’t worry!” Ye Qing took out a Ziyu Chenxiang Pill from his pocket, broke off half, and handed it to Liu Yuan’s brother-in-law, saying, ”Give this to him to eat, and he’ll recover within half a month!”

”Ah?” Liu Yuan’s brother-in-law was evidently unfamiliar with Ziyu Chenxiang Pills, looking at the half pill in surprise, ”What... what is this?”

”Never mind that, just give it to him!” Ye Qing placed the Ziyu Chenxiang Pill into Liu Yuan’s brother-in-law’s hand, patted his shoulder, and said, ”Take good care of your brother-in-law!”

After speaking, Ye Qing turned around and left directly. Liu Yuan’s brother-in-law held that half of the Ziyu Chenxiang Pill, full of surprise on his face, but still walked into the room and fed the half pill to Liu Yuan. He absolutely trusted Ye Qing, knowing that Ye Qing would never harm Liu Yuan.

As soon as Ye Qing walked out of the hospital entrance, a police car sped over and stopped in front of him. Zhao Chengshuang poked his head out.

”Oh my God, Ye Zi, you’re here!” Zhao Chengshuang quickly opened the car door and said, ”Come, come, get in the car first, get in the car first!”

Ye Qing did not refuse, got into Zhao Chengshuang’s car, and sat next to him. He did not speak, just quietly looked at Zhao Chengshuang.

Zhao Chengshuang felt uneasy under Ye Qing’s gaze, sighed, and said, ”Ye Zi, you already know!”

”Did you want to hide it from me?” Ye Qing countered.

”Ye Zi, I... I don’t want it to be like this either...” Zhao Chengshuang said helplessly, ”Originally, Old Li was prepared to fight it out with that group of bastards. But, do you know? Fire Butterfly Chen Si came to me and told me not to blow this matter up!”

”Chen Si wants to protect Aomuhan?” Ye Qing frowned.

”Not really, but she told me something else!” Zhao Chengshuang looked at Ye Qing and said, ”Ao Wuchang from Shu is preparing to head to the Southern Six Provinces, starting with the Western Province, to personally take action and wipe out all of Wang Tian’an’s territories. And the second stop is our Shenchuan City!”

Zhao Chengshuang paused and said solemnly, ”Ye Zi, Ao Wuchang is very powerful. Three hundred Red Robes going south to Jiangnan, don’t mention how many people in this Shenchuan City, even Wang Tian’an, with all his previous strength, is no match for him. Moreover, this person is extremely protective of his own. If you injure his son, he absolutely won’t let you off!”

”So what?” Ye Qing quietly looked at Zhao Chengshuang and said, ”Just because Ao Wuchang is coming, should my brother’s beating be for nothing? Just because Ao Wuchang is coming, can Mu Qingrong be bullied like this? This time, Qingrong was lucky to be unharmed, but what if something happened to Qingrong? What do you plan to do? Just because Ao Wuchang is coming, do we have to swallow any grievance?”

”I... I don’t mean it that way...” Zhao Chengshuang said anxiously, ”Ye Zi, I understand your feelings. But in this world, not everything can be divided so clearly. Endure for a while and the winds will calm, take a step back and the sea will broaden. We have come this far with difficulty. Do we really want to make enemies with Ao Wuchang over this one matter? If Ao Wuchang comes, everything we have in Shenchuan City will be gone!”

”Others can insult, curse, degrade, or beat me, and I can endure it. But if they beat my friends and bully my brothers, I cannot!” Ye Qing looked at Zhao Chengshuang and said, ”Today, they beat Liu Yuan, and I won’t endure it. Tomorrow, if they do the same to you, I won’t endure it either!”

After Ye Qing said this, he directly opened the car door and jumped out of the car.

Inside the car, Zhao Chengshuang was stunned, and after a while, he suddenly gritted his teeth, jumped out of the car to follow Ye Qing, and cursed loudly, ”******, if we fight, we fight. At worst, I’ll face off with that bastard Ao Wuchang!”

Ye Qing nodded with satisfaction and said, ”Call Old Li, and prepare the manpower!”

”Got it!” Zhao Chengshuang immediately took out his phone and called Li Lianshan.

Li Lianshan was even more impulsive than Zhao Chengshuang. He had been eager to start a fight for a while. So, when he received the call, he didn’t hesitate. By the time Ye Qing arrived at his place, more than fifty cars were neatly lined up in the courtyard. Every car was filled with people, and the courtyard was packed with people, all ready to set off.

Li Lianshan was holding his ostentatious thick-backed mountain-splitter knife. Seeing Ye Qing and Zhao Chengshuang coming in, he immediately shouted, ”One thousand people, is it enough?”

”How many people does Chen Si have?” Ye Qing asked.

”More than three hundred, I think. Recently, a group of Red Robes arrived.” Zhao Chengshuang replied.

”Then we’ll also bring more than three hundred over!” Ye Qing said calmly, ”Even though this is on Shenchuan City’s turf, I absolutely will not bully the few with many!”

”No problem!” Li Lianshan waved his hand and said, ”Pick the three hundred strongest. Tonight, I’ll take you guys out to enjoy the show!”

There was a burst of enthusiastic shouting from the crowd, everyone competing to go, as scenes like this were rare.

”Stop fighting over it, only the strong ones, no bringing those who can’t even lift a machete.” Li Lianshan shouted loudly at the front, ”Oh my, come on, some of you taller ones, you there, you’re not even 1.6 meters tall, looking like Dongfang Shengqi, what fight are you trying to get into? Go back and eat some more rice, grow taller and then talk. Hey, hey, hey, this one’s good, this one’s good, right, all of you looking like F4, you suit me well!”

Ye Qing and Zhao Chengshuang watched as Li Lianshan selected the manpower. Among the thousand people, those selected, even without mentioning their fighting skills, had no problems with their size and build.
