The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1709: Chapter 1709: Taking Down the Black Market

Meng Yunzheng saw that everyone’s defenses were indeed solid and nodded, ”A few people come over and guard the two entrances.”

The black market has a total of two entrances, one being the secret passage that Meng Yunzheng and the others used to come, and the other being the entrance outside the city.

If these two places are not guarded, it’s one thing if those people see the situation and flee directly. But if they escape to raise the alarm, it would be troublesome. They still plan to lock the doors and trap them like dogs.

Lu Wu was tasked with managing and positioning people at the two entrances.

Once everything was ready, the group headed directly towards the medical room.

There were the most people on that side, though some were scattered around. But the black market was too large to search through individually, so they could only create a commotion near the medical room to draw others in.

They had a big target, a large group moving in force. Even though they tried to act discreetly and split up along the way, they still encountered people on the way to the medical room.

Before Shu Yu and Meng Yunzheng could make a move, Lu Wu led his people and charged straight at them.

”Ah...”

Soon, the shrieks that had just calmed down echoed again in the expansive and spacious black market.

Others paused at the sound, and those in the medical room stood up and ran out to see.

However, what they faced head-on was the figure of Old Master Yang leading people charging towards them.

”You...” The mountain bandits were stunned as they recognized them, shock filling their faces, ”Weren’t you all locked up in the cell? What are you trying to do? Ah...”

Most of the people in the medical room were wounded. Old Master Yang and his group hated these people, and it didn’t matter if they were severely injured, unable to get up, or even unconscious. They wreaked havoc in the medical room, flipping beds and stretchers, cornering the mountain bandits who didn’t have time to respond into a frenzy.

”Are you crazy? Stop, do you know what you’re doing? Ah...”

Old Master Yang and others didn’t bother wasting words with them. They attacked those who resisted with weapons, and simply tied up those who didn’t.

Of course, they hadn’t killed anyone before. In extreme anger, they might lose control, but to outright slit someone’s throat in cold blood still required some mental preparation.

So before coming, Meng Yunzheng had suggested dealing with those with swords, spears, or other weapons without hesitation, because if you don’t fight with all your strength, you might end up injured or dead. But if someone truly couldn’t bring themselves to do it, they should knock the weapon out of the person’s hand or knock them out altogether. Those without experience should just strike randomly, the most important thing is not to let anyone get too close.

Fortunately, these mountain bandits weren’t very skilled, and the ones left behind in the black market were already timid and fearful. Seeing the large number of people and their fearless demeanor, they were immediately scared out of their wits, dropping their helmets and fleeing, easily captured.

People outside the medical room rushed over upon hearing the commotion. Among them, some angrily charged in, and, of course, there were some clever ones who turned and ran when they sensed something amiss.

At this point, Lu Wu and the others, who were ambushing outside, would jump out, directly forcing people back into the medical room.

Some watched from afar, noticed something wrong, and turned to run to the Beast Camp. They still remembered Fifth Guo was over there, but when they got to the entrance of the Beast Camp, they found the doors tightly closed. They pounded on them vigorously, but no one responded.

Xia Yi chased after them and dealt with them on the spot.
