Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2688: Chapter 1927: Fated Encounter from the Heavens (Part 2)

Even if Lorna has any issues, the Anlos Family can’t solve them, why do they still need to call Bai Xiaosheng?

Does Anlos need to personally call Bai Xiaosheng?

This seems a bit exaggerated.

As Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying were puzzled, they heard Bai Xiaosheng respond, ”I understand, okay, we have time today, we can go over and take a look.”

What matter requires them to go over there?

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying were even more surprised.

Bai Xiaosheng ended the call with Anlos, put down the phone, but his expression showed a hint of weirdness.

”What’s up, Xiaosheng, what exactly happened?” Lin Weiwei couldn’t help but ask.

Lei Ying also looked at Bai Xiaosheng.

Bai Xiaosheng looked at the two, his expression odd, ”You may not believe it when I say it. Someone came to the Anlos Family, wanting to recognize Lorna as a relative.”

”Ah?” Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying exchanged stunned glances, then said in unison, ”Didn’t Miss Lorna say she had no family, having lost her parents at a young age?”

Bai Xiaosheng shrugged.

”Could it be that someone saw the news, knew Miss Lorna was connected to the Anlos Family, and came pretending to be a relative, trying to get some money?” Lin Weiwei speculated.

Lei Ying looked at Bai Xiaosheng, ”If that’s the case, I think the Anlos Family would handle it well, and wouldn’t need to call Xiaosheng, especially not for Mr. Anlos to call personally.”

Lin Weiwei also found it strange.

Bai Xiaosheng looked at them, laughed, ”Actually, you might not believe it, but the person coming to recognize a relative isn’t here for money. It’s because they’re from the Maiyous Family.”

Maiyous Family?

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying were momentarily taken aback, then just as surprised, they widened their eyes.

In the vast expanse of West Africa, with its numerous countries, because of the regional alliances, their commercial sectors are closely interwoven, with shared benefits, and they are even more tightly connected than other countries or regions. In multiple joint business meetings, their commercial top ten ranks are officially recognized.

The Anlos Family Group ranks second.

The company managed by Brady, Keruoge, ranks third.

The Hogson Family Group ranks fourth.

The strength gap between the top three seats and the subsequent seven is quite large, though the Hogson Family has been rapidly closing the gap with Keruoge in recent years.

In Bai Xiaosheng’s negotiations with the three parties, he was considered by Oshan to be against the three giants, but in reality, the Hogson side was still lacking. The real top three giants do not include them.

The number one commercial giant in West Africa is actually the Maiyous Family!

This time, the Maiyous Family did not participate in the commercial dispute on Oshan’s side, not because they looked down on Oshan, but for some special reasons, their main force is not there.

The Maiyous Family embarked on a ”commercial expedition,” currently competing with the East African business giants, surprisingly winning despite being away.

They should be enjoying the fruits of their victory over there at this moment.

Bai Xiaosheng once said that he hoped to meet them one day.

Unexpectedly, the opportunity presented itself, as the Maiyous Family approached Anlos because of Lorna — a girl who once was destitute on the streets, surviving only through theft and robbery.

”This is too bizarre,” Lin Weiwei was somewhat stunned, murmuring, ”The identity of Lorna as a wealthy family’s illegitimate daughter was something we made up, how did it become real?! I used to enjoy dramas, but not even the most outrageous soap operas dare to write like this!”

”And it’s the number one family in West Africa,” Lei Ying murmured, ”No, now should we say it’s the strongest family on the entire continent.”

Bai Xiaosheng didn’t speak, stood up and then said, ”Anlos flew to Europe last night to discuss a business deal. Involving Lorna’s matter, he is uncertain and it’s not appropriate for his people to deal with it, so he asked us to meet someone from the Maiyous Family.”

”Besides,” Bai Xiaosheng smiled slightly, ”Anlos seems to see this as a chance to forge connections. He knows I want to establish extensive close relations with the African business community. Once I achieve this goal, the Anlos Family will naturally benefit, so he suggested I use this opportunity to deeply connect with the Maiyous.”

”Oh, it really does sound like a good opportunity,” Lin Weiwei also stood up, smiling.

”Then let’s go and meet them,” Lei Ying said.

Lin Weiwei suddenly remembered something, ”But do we need to go to the Anlos Family’s residence now, is there still time?”

Upon hearing this, Bai Xiaosheng said, ”Anlos has already sent Lorna over here, we just need to meet her at Eisenlag, and then meet with the people from Maiyous.”

This matter, Anlos has naturally considered thoroughly.

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying nodded at his words.

Then, the three of them quickly packed their things, went down the small hill, and drove back to Eisenlag City.

The journey was silent.

Bai Xiaosheng and the other two soon arrived at a five-star hotel in the city, which was owned by the Anlos Family. Lorna, who had returned to Eisenlag, was waiting for them there.

As Bai Xiaosheng and the others entered the hotel lobby, the hotel’s general manager, who had already been informed and was waiting there, approached them with a wide smile on his face.

Anlos had explained everything in advance, and besides, the hotel manager knew that this young Asian man in front of him was a chieftain in their locality, so he dared not be negligent.

”Chief Bai Xiaosheng!” The fifty-something black general manager, upon seeing Bai Xiaosheng for the first time, immediately intended to perform a kneeling ceremony.

This is a custom ingrained in one’s blood, not influenced by the level of education.

The people behind the hotel manager were also about to follow suit.

Bai Xiaosheng was taken aback by this and quickly stopped him, urgently whispering, ”I’ve come this time to travel incognito. The formalities can come later, absolutely not now!”

The latter half of Bai Xiaosheng’s words carried a stern tone, quite befitting a chieftain’s authority.

With Chief Bai speaking this way, the hotel manager dared not disobey, and to prevent the Chief from being displeased, he hurriedly turned back to stop the others from making any further moves.

”Chief Bai Xiaosheng, we will follow all your instructions!” The hotel manager said this with a serious and earnest expression.

Bai Xiaosheng immediately smiled, patting the manager on the shoulder.

This gesture made the manager feel quite honored.

”Don’t call me Chief, just call me Mr. Bai Xiaosheng, keep it low-key, low-key!” Bai Xiaosheng said amiably.

The manager immediately nodded like a pecking chick, quietly passing on the chief’s instructions.

Afterward, the hotel manager dismissed the others and ”low-key” led Bai Xiaosheng and the others to meet Lorna by himself.

Lorna was waiting in the café on the second floor. Upon seeing Bai Xiaosheng and the others, she rose excitedly to greet them, as if seeing family.

Bai Xiaosheng and the others could be considered her benefactors and also benefactors to Robert. Moreover, the three of them naturally gave her a sense of closeness.

”Brother Xiaosheng, Brother Lei Ying, Sister Weiwei.” In her early twenties, Lorna greeted everyone warmly.

She was young and had a tender face, so the three of them treated her like a little sister.

Bai Xiaosheng and Lei Ying greeted her with smiles, and Lin Weiwei went over to hold her little hand, as close as sisters.

”Mr. Manager, please pay special attention to our guests.” Bai Xiaosheng politely expressed to the hotel manager.

Knowing that Anlos must have already informed him, there was no need to say anything more.

”Leave it to me, Chie... Mr. Bai Xiaosheng.” The hotel manager bowed respectfully and hurriedly left.

With no outsiders present, Bai Xiaosheng and the other three returned to the café with Lorna.

The area had been specially cleared, with no outsiders, making it easier to talk and discuss matters.

Lorna spoke about how the Anlos Family had found her a new job and provided her with several professional teachers, saying she was both satisfied and grateful.

Seeing her happy smile, the three of them were also glad for her.

”I know you actually don’t want to leave Eisenlag, since your little friends are all here. We sent you away to avoid media harassment. Now that the storm has subsided, you can come back if you want.” Bai Xiaosheng said with a smile.

”Really?” Lorna was overjoyed to hear that.

She naturally wanted to return.

Seeing this, Bai Xiaosheng and the others couldn’t help but smile.

Soon, the conversation turned to the present.

Lin Weiwei curiously asked if Lorna had any other family members.

Lorna frowned and said, ”When my mother was raising me, she said my father had long passed away. After she died, I didn’t see any keepsakes or anything. I don’t even know why the Maiyous Family found me.”

Bai Xiaosheng and the other two exchanged glances, all equally surprised.

It’s odd that the one being claimed by the family is completely in the dark.

At that moment, Lei Ying motioned with his mouth towards the side and whispered, ”The manager is bringing someone. They should be the ’guests’ we’re expecting!”
