Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2658: Chapter 1913: An Unbelievable Gift of Gratitude (Part 2)

Bai Xiaosheng gazed into the distance, and almost at the horizon, he noticed the silhouettes of some mountains.

”There, lies a wealth of mineral resources,” Chief Ogade pointed out, ”we hope to proceed with systematic development, minimizing pollution while promoting growth.”

Upon hearing this, Bai Xiaosheng nodded repeatedly.

”These resources will bring unprecedented growth to Oshan, but the fact that you also consider environmental protection is a blessing for Eisenlag and Oshan.”

This is not merely flattering words.

As the head of a nation, valuing environmental protection while developing the economy is truly commendable.

Chief Ogade smiled, and with his finger, he once again ”glided” across to the distant mountains, saying, ”This vast land nurtures boundless wealth and commercial opportunities, enough to make any entrepreneur go mad. In the original plans of Hogson, Anlos, and Brady, they hoped to build factories here and even participate in energy development over there in the distant mountains.”

When Bai Xiaosheng, Chen Feiqiu, and the three big shots negotiated cooperation, they also requested the original versions of their plans, which were handed over to Chief Ogade for comparison.

It seems Chief Ogade must have carefully read those original plans.

”Sheng, before you discussed with them, you spoke to me first. I told you, focusing on Eisenlag, all development matters are not to be negotiated with them. Subsequently, Oshan will reach out to them. So, when you negotiated again, you rejected those relevant contents, didn’t you?”

Bai Xiaosheng nodded.

”Now it’s time to address Eisenlag’s planning,” Chief Ogade said with a smile to Bai Xiaosheng, ”Aren’t you curious? I mentioned to give you my personal gift and Oshan’s gratitude?”

Bai Xiaosheng shrugged.

Chief Ogade, nodding towards the window, laughed, ”From here to the distant mountains, this land is yours.”

This statement left Bai Xiaosheng stunned.

Around him, Chen Feiqiu, Lin Weiwei, and Lei Ying were equally shocked.

What was Chief Ogade saying?

”Bai Xiaosheng, I now appoint you as the seventh chieftain of Oklandt in Eisenlag City, Oshan. Your domain is this land, and under the unchanged overarching planning direction, you have the right to choose any developers and partners. You don’t need to change your nationality; as long as you live, you’re the master of this land and enjoy all chieftain powers. This appointment can’t be refused, gifted, or inherited.”

Chief Ogade’s solemn words stunned Bai Xiaosheng and others into a state of shock.

In Oshan Chieftaincy, chieftains are collectively forming the highest council to manage the country, but all matters reverence the Supreme Chieftain, who can appoint minor chieftains on certain lands.

Now, Bai Xiaosheng has been appointed as the ”Chieftain” of this land, and it’s the best land in Oshan.

This news might even make the top council’s big chieftains envy Bai Xiaosheng!

After initial surprise, Chen Feiqiu’s eyes gleamed, suggesting Bai Xiaosheng should quickly accept.

As Bai Xiaosheng’s friend, he naturally hoped his friend would form close ties with Oshan.

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying couldn’t help but gaze in amazement at Bai Xiaosheng.

Little did they expect that Bai Xiaosheng would receive such a blessing one day.

Lady Daliya wore a serene smile, having known about this earlier.

”Bai Xiaosheng, are you unwilling?” Chief Ogade looked at the dazed Bai Xiaosheng and sternly said, ”You have no right to refuse this!”

Recovering from the shock, Bai Xiaosheng regarded the serious Chief Ogade, respectfully saluting using Oshan’s etiquette.

”Your kindness, Bai Xiaosheng will always remember. I will fulfill my duties as domain chieftain, not disappointing your expectations!”

Seeing Bai Xiaosheng accept, Chief Ogade laughed heartily, patting Bai Xiaosheng’s arm and pointing outside, ”Come, have a good look at your domain.”

Bai Xiaosheng straightened and looked out the glass facade, his gaze traveling from the city’s edge to the distant mountains.

Vast, boundless, fertile, and vibrant, the morning sun seemed to imbue the land with infinite power.

Bai Xiaosheng’s heart and eyes ignited bit by bit.

This will also be his starting point toward new heights in life!

Chief Ogade also instructed the head steward to command a helicopter to fly from here to the distant mountains, allowing Bai Xiaosheng to properly inspect this domain.

The helicopter flew across the mountains, making a small circle over the lush mountain range.

”Later, I’ll have someone bring you the official appointment along with the map. I’ll also gift you a helicopter, giving you plenty of time to observe and plan its future well.” Chief Ogade laughed heartily, speaking to Bai Xiaosheng.

Chief Ogade appointed Bai Xiaosheng as the chieftain of this territory both as appreciation and recognizing Bai Xiaosheng’s talent and ability.

Such talent is not accepting migration or marriage, so the only way is to give him other reasons to stay here and contribute his skills.

”Thank you!” Bai Xiaosheng expressed gratitude again for Chief Ogade’s generous gifts.

After inspecting Bai Xiaosheng’s ”domain”, the helicopter flew towards Eisenlag.

Finally, the helicopter landed at a local ’Walking Palace’ belonging to Chief Ogade.

After disembarking, Chief Ogade and Bai Xiaosheng exchanged a few simple words before leaving for conservative treatment.

Chen Feiqiu accompanied Bai Xiaosheng and the others to their new residence; with the domain, Bai Xiaosheng needed to settle here.

Fortunately, living in the nearby city of Oklandt is no different from living in Eisenlag; it’s only a two-hour flight...

When Bai Xiaosheng and his companions arrived at their residence, the head steward came, bringing many things, surprisingly their personal belongings.

”Mr. Bai, we regret moving your belongings onto the plane without your knowledge. We’re now bringing them back to you. Please check that nothing is missing.” The steward apologized sincerely.

Bai Xiaosheng naturally had nothing to say, smiling graciously, ”Grateful that you brought them to us.”

The steward waved repeatedly, smiling, ”Chief Bai Xiaosheng, your words humble me.”

After the steward left, Chen Feiqiu joked with Bai Xiaosheng, ”Chief Bai Xiaosheng, what a title! Seems I need to salute you; I have no official status here.”

Bai Xiaosheng smirked coldly, ”If you become the Supreme Chieftain, don’t expect me to salute you.”

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying were beside them, fighting the urge to laugh, enduring with difficulty.

Chief Ogade’s Walking Palace was vast, resembling a large ”castle” with modern fittings inside.

The room where Bai Xiaosheng and his friends stayed was, of course, the best.

After settling in, Chen Feiqiu said, ”I’ll first check on my father’s situation, then join you for lunch.”

Bai Xiaosheng nodded.

Chen Feiqiu also greeted Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying before leaving.

Once he left, Lin Weiwei immediately cheered, inspecting Bai Xiaosheng, giggling, ”Didn’t expect we’re close to a chieftain; shouldn’t Chief Bai give us a position?”

Lei Ying also watched Bai Xiaosheng with a smile.

”So which maiden title do you think suits you?” Bai Xiaosheng asked, laughing.

”Can’t I be a concubine...” Lin Weiwei blurted out, then seeing Bai Xiaosheng and Lei Ying’s meaningful gaze, her face flushed, retorting, ”I resign! I quit!”

Lin Weiwei made a hurried escape, leaving Bai Xiaosheng and Lei Ying laughing heartily.

Then, the two men exchanged glances.

Bai Xiaosheng asked, ”Do you want to be a grand steward?”

”Get lost!” Lei Ying spat, leaving without looking back.

Leaving Bai Xiaosheng alone, he chuckled, then stretched lazily, walking to the window to gaze outside.

Gradually, Bai Xiaosheng’s eyes focused.

A full minute later, a smile surfaced on his face, murmuring, ”Now I can chat properly with Hogson, Anlos, and Brady!”

”Finally, I have the leverage for negotiation!”
