The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 32: Chapter 32: Heh

The more Consort Jiang and others thought about it, the more they felt that the tea might not be served.

But as she finished speaking, Rong Ling remained silent, yet Feng Qing spoke calmly from the side: ”There’s no need.”

After all, she won’t be staying in the Prince Mansion, what was the point of drinking tea meant for concubines? Ridiculous.

Just as Feng Qing finished speaking, Rong Ling spoke from the side, ”Let’s proceed.”

In the main hall, everyone was momentarily stunned, Consort Jiang and others doubted their ears, what did the Prince mean? Was he asking them to serve tea to the Princess Consort?

If this ugly woman was truly the Princess Consort of the Prince Mansion, then among the few women present, Consort Jiang’s face was the worst.

Because if there was a main wife in the Prince Mansion, she would have to surrender her household management rights.

That was tangible power, though she was a concubine, due to these household management rights, everyone in the Prince Mansion respected her.

If her household management rights were gone, she would become just another ordinary concubine in the Prince Mansion.

Consort Jiang felt immensely stifled but dared not say more.

While they dared not speak, Feng Qing did, she turned her head to look at Rong Ling, incredulously speaking up.

”Prince, do you think it’s necessary for me to drink this tea?”

Both she and he were aware of their situation, why should she drink tea meant for concubines?

Feng Qing was extremely irate, her face particularly unpleasant, Rong Ling looked at her with raised eyebrows, seeing her so infuriated, he suddenly felt much better.

Seeing this woman flustered, he felt the anger in his heart dissipate.

Rong Ling, half-smiling, looked at Feng Qing and said, ”Or perhaps you want to move to the woodshed.”

This was a blatant threat, Feng Qing’s face darkened, she gritted her teeth, suppressing her anger slowly, and spoke, ”Prince, I didn’t know they were coming to serve tea, so I didn’t prepare any gifts, which is not good.”

If worse comes to worse, she would procrastinate, perhaps she would leave before drinking the tea.

Unfortunately, Rong Ling saw through her thoughts and didn’t intend to let her have her way, he leisurely said, ”You can send the gifts over later.”

Feng Qing thought about having to give gifts to these women and it pained her deeply, she only had a few decent sets of jewelry, she was even thinking of selling them, if these women served tea, she’d have to select a few presentable items to give.

Wasn’t this just letting others have a free gain?

The more Feng Qing thought about it, the angrier she became, but the man beside her seemed oblivious to her anger, contrary to that, he was in a good mood, his demeanor relaxed and leisurely, issuing instructions slowly, ”Serve the tea.”

Si Qi immediately arranged someone to pour the tea, Consort Jiang and the others dared not say much, they respectfully knelt down, took the tea from Si Qi’s hand, raised it above their heads, and offered it.

At this moment Consort Jiang Shuwan only felt humiliation, why should she serve tea adhering to concubine etiquette to this ugly woman? Did she deserve it? Yet even though she felt humiliated, she dared not utter a word.

”Princess Consort, please drink the tea.”

Feng Qing looked at the tea before her, only feeling her silver flying away, but due to the man beside her, she had no choice but to take the tea, taking a symbolic sip, she still had to pretend and say a few words of instruction to the concubines.

”In the future, serve the Prince well, bear heirs for the Prince Mansion.”

Ha, sleep to death.

Jiang Shuwan was brought into the mansion by Rong Ling personally, with her serving tea to Feng Qing, the following Song Family, Tong Family, and Mrs. Shu dared not cause any trouble, they served tea obediently.

After Feng Qing finished receiving tea from a few women, she listlessly said, ”Alright, I’ll have someone send the gifts over later.”

Right after the tea ceremony ended, outside, Nan Feng brought two pageboys, bringing Rong Ling’s dinner, placing it out one by one.
