Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

This is the newly constructed concentration camp of the Demon Spirit...

The new king replaces the old king, and the impact spans all aspects. However, for the Demon Spirit, the most critical point is that Philip’s influence was too powerful.

So powerful that even though Philip was defeated and fled to the Demon Palace without news since, many from the Demon Tribe still firmly believe that Philip is the legitimate ruler, and the Demon Spirit is an unpardonable ambitious schemer.

Indeed, Philip’s public opinion war from the past influences the present.

Thus chaos ensued, with Philip’s loyal followers raising their banners high, banding together, holding fortified ground, intending to split the Demon Realm and wait for their old master’s return.

But it was evident that they overestimated their capabilities.

The rebellion was quelled within three days.

All the Demon Tribe members with rebellion in their hearts were captured by the Demon Spirit and gathered in the concentration camp.

It wasn’t due to the Demon Spirit’s mercy; it was simply that the Demon Spirit needed ”waste repurposing”...

They were sent to the tiered battlegrounds, consuming Earth’s Level Lock progression, while Soul Puppets were dispatched to gather their soul energy after they perished in battle.

And this is just one aspect.

Regarding waste repurposing, the Demon Spirit and Wen Yu, possessing the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill, are very qualified to speak.

...

”By the way, how is the handling of the rebels above Level 8?”

”All slaughtered, not a single one left! Five Level 11 powerful experts have been possessed and occupied by the brothers, while the remaining Limit Breakthrough Level 10 and Peak Level 10 corpses were kept intact, reserved for future modification. As for the rest... they’ve all turned into fodder, be it their flesh or souls!”

Oga said these words fiercely and viciously—perhaps the mad slaughter alleviated Oga’s anger from taking a hit on the Soul Balance Scale. Ultimately, now Oga seemed only slightly gloomy and devoid of the despair and pessimism right after being schemed against by Wen Yu.

After all, the Demon Dragon’s physical qualities remain, and as long as no soul-type powerful expert is encountered, Oga’s combat prowess hasn’t greatly changed.

”How is the deployment of the Soul Puppet Soldiers?”

”It’s basically complete, and when the Sequence Member-Ranking Battle occurs, it’s sure to give Wen Yu a massive surprise!”

When speaking of Wen Yu, Oga ground his teeth while the Demon Spirit merely shook his head with a smile.

”It’s no surprise at all, just a little trick that can’t affect anything. Our showdown isn’t happening now.”

The Demon Spirit was right.

Strictly speaking, this so-called super offensive... is not an attack, or rather attacking Earth is not the Demon Spirit’s main goal.

After all, the majority arrested by the Demon Spirit are civilians of the Demon Realm, untrained, unorganized, undisciplined. And in this wave of attack, the main forces are these disorganized rabble...

Even within the professionist system, the gap between soldiers and civilians still exists.

However, this time, the ”Rebel Army” arrested by the Demon Spirit is truly vast...

It can be said the Demon Spirit wants to establish authority, or it can be said the Demon Spirit is innately ruthless. In truth, according to Yu, there is no error in claiming this ”largest-scale offensive.”

Because the Demon Spirit has included about thirty percent of the Demon Realm’s population in the Rebel Army’s camp!

Because more than thirty percent of the Demon Tribe’s total population from Level 8 and below Demon Fiends are currently within the concentration camp, and they are the warriors of this attack!

Even though the main purpose of the entire matter is the Demon Spirit’s exclusion of dissent and purging of the Demon Realm, Earth is merely the Demon Spirit’s butcher knife, with any impact on Earth only being secondary damage.

But the quantity is enough to provoke qualitative change—since the number of Demon Fiends rushing into the tiered battle ground this time will be countless times higher than the total demon entry to Earth in the past!

In addition to certain little surprises contained within...

However, just as the Demon Spirit knew Wen Yu actively changed the location of the Sequence Member-Ranking Battle, Wen Yu also understood what actions the Demon Spirit took in the Demon Realm, and how surging this attack would be, yet it is merely surging, not dangerous, not even a threat.

The Demon Spirit didn’t feel this attack had much effect, and Wen Yu didn’t take this attack seriously.

Because under Wen Yu’s leadership, Earth doesn’t need to prepare, for the whole world is constantly preparing for war and even showdown.

Indeed, Wen Yu has little to worry about.

After handing over the intelligence to Fran and Lin Haifeng, Wen Yu refocused his attention on deciphering the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill manual.

Until the arrival of the Sequence Member-Ranking Battle.

...

When the notification sounded in his mind, Wen Yu set down the book, straightened his clothes, and then pushed open the Supreme Commander’s office door.

At the door, Dragon Two stood respectfully, and upon seeing Wen Yu push the door open, Dragon Two stepped aside.

”Where is Tang Haofei?”

”Tang Haofei has already headed to the arena; he set off three hours ago.”

Hearing Dragon Two’s response, Wen Yu smiled slightly, seemingly marveling at Tang Haofei’s impatience.

Regarding this, Wen Yu didn’t have too much opinion—Tang Haofei’s desire to challenge him is a good thing; it proves Old Tang’s ambition has not waned and that he can become an excellent sharp blade.

Indeed, Wen Yu used the word challenge to describe their battle over Sequence Number 1, when in fact...

The outcome of the fight was already determined when Wen Yu used the Soul Balance Scale against Oga.

”Let’s go.”

Wen Yu said thus, then leisurely walked toward the door.

...

When Wen Yu arrived at the main battleground of District 8 in the tiered battle ground, it was already the Dominator’s set deadline.

The newly built arena was vast in scale, but it couldn’t withstand the overwhelming crowd—after all, the three-yearly Sequence Member-Ranking Battle is a grand feast for any professionist of decent rank.

After all, the Dominator openly giving out rewards only happens during the Sequence Member-Ranking Battle.

Wen Yu ignored the crowded people and didn’t address Dragon Two behind him. He merely swept his perception around briefly, found Tang Haofei, and then his figure flashed as he moved to the VIP box specially set up in the arena.

Inside, Tang Haofei stood straight, radiating a clear sharpness.

”You’re late...”

Old Tang remarked, rendering Wen Yu speechless.

”Feels like the sword summit on Mount Hua.”

Wen Yu quipped, then paid no heed to the high-standard Tang Haofei, turning toward another box instead.

...

Pushing open the door, the internal noise instantly calmed, and Wen Yu looked up inside.

He saw Fran, Fang Yuqiong, Qin Tian leading the Yanjing high-level officials gathered together, and upon seeing Wen Yu enter, the noise disappeared at once, and everyone stood up, respectfully greeting Wen Yu.

Wen Yu simply waved his hand and then sat in the foremost chair.

”Fight well.”

A simple pre-battle encouragement.
