Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

Chapter 1426: Chapter 68: Upheaval (10)

Pitch-dark Demon Lord ultimate evolution edition—Chaos Divine Weapon…

It looks formidable, yet it’s merely a malformed product born out of boredom to expand combat tactics, without any augmentation in power.

The difference in body size can bring certain advantages or disadvantages to a battle.

However, with the advantage in power on our side, Wen Yu doesn’t need to leverage any size advantage or disadvantage; Chaos Divine Weapon merely provides a balance in size.

The Demon Dragon in front has already expanded to a hundred meters in height and a kilometer in length, while Wen Yu, by wielding the Chaos Divine Weapon, transformed into a giant over a thousand meters tall with four arms, at least overtly, matching Oga in might.

And then…

Oga shrank back…

Wen Yu strode forward, Oga retreated step by step, and soon, Oga was forced to the edge of the Soul Battlefield by Wen Yu, where the giant swung his massive fists, using no skills, just pounding them onto Oga’s head.

The gap in skill amplification effects caused absolute dominance in strength; Wen Yu and Oga with equal Soul Strength are no match in the Soul Battlefield.

The once fiercely threatening Demon Spirit was smashed and suppressed, its tail battered and its eyes gouged out. At this moment, Oga was just like a miserable mudfish, being wantonly humiliated under Wen Yu.

Until Wen Yu completely avenged his recent grievance of punishment, this battle came to an end.

Oga died…

…

As the resurrection ability activated, Oga’s shattered body restored to wholeness again, looking at Wen Yu, his eyes flashing with uncontrollable panic.

With a flick of his dragon tail, Oga hastily turned around, attempting to leave, yet a second Soul Battlefield was once again deployed, dragging Oga back in.

Such a caliber of giant possesses at least eight hundred resurrection methods, even so, dominance in combat strength, resolving Oga won’t be a brief matter for Wen Yu.

However, Wen Yu didn’t aim to directly eliminate Oga.

After Oga revived again, Wen Yu intended to summon the Soul Battlefield once more, but his hand suddenly paused, he looked up, ignoring Oga whom turned to leave, instead gazing into the distance.

In the distance, a dim Black Light flashed by and fell beside Wen Yu.

“Hurry up and leave!”

Philip’s voice arrived, clearly conveying urgency and weakening.

Wen Yu was stunned, then nodded, Philip grabbed Wen Yu and the two swiftly evacuated.

At the second they left, the Demon Spirit appeared instantly beside Oga.

“What happened?”

Seeing Oga’s face full of panic, not prioritizing pursuing Philip, the Demon Spirit asked first.

“Wen Yu! Wen Yu he…”

Oga hurriedly narrated everything that had just transpired, emphasizing Wen Yu’s Soul Balance Scale and its effects, the Demon Spirit pondered briefly upon hearing this and reached out, brushing over the top of Oga’s head.

A much more powerful Soul Power than Oga’s surged out, instantly exploring Oga’s Soul origin thoroughly, the Demon Spirit withdrew his hand in a moment.

“He’s right, the skill effects are permanent…”

Having said, the Demon Spirit disregarded Oga’s nearly hopeless expression, turned around, and walked back in the direction they came from.

“Wait, Demon Spirit, you’re not pursuing them?”

“Pursue? I fear he might use that skill on me as well… Though usually, powerful skills like these have cooldown limitations, but… who knows? I cannot afford that cost…”

“Seems targeting Wen Yu calls for long-term planning…”

The Demon Spirit explained simply, quickly flashing back to Ostgard, looking over the now ruined Ostgard, his mind rapidly working, soon after, a series of commands emerged from the Demon Spirit’s mouth.

“Deliver my decree, Philip has been defeated and fled; from now on, I will take over the power in the Demon Realm.”

“Deliver my decree, I am the will of the Demon Realm; In the future, anyone disobedient to my rule, will face severe punishment!”

“Deliver my decree, gather the armies, fully conduct the assault progress on Earth.”

“As commanded!”

The remaining carbon copies received orders and departed, simultaneously, this also signifies that the previously seven-person rule of the Surface Demon Realm will be no more.

This battle, initiated by Wen Yu, concluded with the Demon Spirit solely holding power over the Demon Tribe. Although the Demon Spirit was forced, the result was not perfect for him either, but evidently, from now on, Earth will inevitably confront a complete, united Demon Tribe, and a no longer hidden Demon Realm will, along with its numerous super carbon copies!

What influence will be generated in this among them, Wen Yu could not perceive for now, but evidently, this time Wen Yu truly gained significantly.

…

Being held by Philip, occasionally looking back, yet the terrifying presence from behind paused briefly, then quickly distanced.

Wen Yu pondered briefly and understood his Soul Balance Scale had surely stunned the Demon Spirit—facing the effects of the Soul Balance Scale, no one would want to encounter Wen Yu.

Though Philip had doubts about this, perceiving the Demon Spirit’s departure, after a pause, he shook Wen Yu.

“What did you do?”

Having been beaten by the Demon Spirit like a dead dog, the Demon Spirit wouldn’t possibly abandon pursuit because of him, then who the Demon Spirit was truly wary of became apparent.

“Hehe, you guess?”

Wen Yu merely raised an eyebrow, giving Philip an ambiguous answer.

“Oga didn’t kill you, or rather he couldn’t kill you… What did you do to him?”

Here lies two questions with the same meaning.

“Hehe, keep guessing.”

“Forget it…”

Philip, helpless as well, realized Wen Yu was reluctant to reveal his trump card, the one intimidating even to the Demon Spirit, for after the Demon Spirit’s retreat, the duo resumed their previous position.

For one is human, the other is demon.

Vigilance remained, initially Philip thought he could comfortably manage Wen Yu, but after the Demon Spirit withdrew, their statuses were instantly elevated to the same level.

Even the Demon Spirit is afraid, what ulterior motives are left?

Thus, the two, in harmony, reached the coordinates issued by Philip.

“Arrived here, now commencing the final part of the agreement.”

The so-called final part naturally referred to distribution—the loot was not so easy to divide originally, but after Wen Yu severely injured Oga, incidentally facilitated the smooth finalization of this agreement.

With the opening of the Netherworld, Demon Spirit carbon copies stored within were fully extracted by Wen Yu, seventy-odd various demon tribes formed layers, paving the ground.

“I’ll take eleven; the rest are all yours.”

Wen Yu said thus, then lightly waved a hand, with the opening of the Netherworld, eleven Demon Spirit carbon copies were smoothly transferred by Wen Yu.

“Pleasure working together.”

Wen Yu smiled and said.

“Pleasure…”

Philip’s expression stiffened, this whole event was far from pleasant for him…
