Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

The two stood atop Star, overlooking the Demon Group below.

Only after gaining a higher vantage point did Wen Yu suddenly realize—the situation in Germany was truly not optimistic.

In such a small patch of land, the number of Demon Fiends was incredibly dense...

Perhaps, after leaving Yanjing, I could come tour Europe...

At least, here, I’ll never have to worry about finding prey!

Wen Yu silently formulated his next plan.

「...」

”Choose a spot for yourself. I hope you haven’t tampered with the nuclear bomb.”

Merkel, her expression grim, shook her head—not out of embarrassment from her ruse being discovered, but merely due to Star’s flight speed and the ferocious wind pressure.

”I didn’t tamper with the nuclear bomb. I hope that after the test explosion, you can keep your promise and deal with the Demon Fiends within Germany for us. Also, for the test explosion site, let’s pick that location over there.”

Merkel pointed to a location in the distance.

”If the nuclear bomb is fine, I’ll stay in Germany for a while to take care of the large-scale Demon Fiend gatherings for you. As for the few remaining Demon Fiends, I won’t concern myself with them.”

Wen Yu responded indifferently, then commanded Star to fly further away!

「...」

BOOM!

Watching the gigantic mushroom cloud in the distance, Wen Yu, transformed into his shadow form, slowly nodded.

The impact detonation worked.

The intense heat and radiation were so strong that even Wen Yu, a considerable distance from the explosion, felt his body tingle in his shadow form. This proved that, at this stage, the nuclear bomb’s power was still quite considerable.

Then, Wen Yu randomly picked another nuclear bomb from his space ring. He set it to detonate in five minutes, casually placed it on the ground, and turned to run towards Star in the distance.

「...」

BOOM!!!

Another mushroom cloud erupted behind him.

Feeling the overpowering heat from behind, Wen Yu, expressionless, turned to look at Merkel.

”It’s been a pleasure working with you. And indeed, those two fireworks were beautiful.”

The spectacular sight of the nuclear explosion was deeply ingrained in Wen Yu’s memory... It was just a pity that the one accompanying him was a woman over sixty years old...

Merkel, her complexion pale, nodded. ”Then, I hope you can keep your promise!”

”Don’t worry. As long as you don’t play any dirty tricks, I will definitely do what I promised! Let’s return to Berlin first. I need to deal with some other matters, and then I’ll start helping you handle the Demon Group in Germany.”

「...」

The other issue Wen Yu mentioned was a lingering problem from Yanjing—he was worried that Lin Haifeng might try something against Qin Tian while he was away.

However, what Wen Yu couldn’t have imagined this time was that the one playing tricks wasn’t Lin Haifeng, but his own reborner ally—Tang Haofei.

He dialed Qin Tian’s communicator.

”How’s the situation on your side?”

There was a moment of silence from Qin Tian on the other end before he calmly replied.

”Everything is normal here.”

”That’s good. I’m held up in Germany by a few things. Once I’ve dealt with the situation here, I’ll rush back. If anything happens in the next couple of days, you can communicate with Tang Haofei; he’s still quite trustworthy!”

”I understand.”

Qin Tian replied decisively from the other end and then directly hung up.

「...」

”I said it like that. Are you satisfied now?”

After hanging up, Qin Tian turned to look at Tang Haofei, who was sitting in the corner.

Tang Haofei nodded expressionlessly. He then ignored Qin Tian and turned his gaze elsewhere.

There stood a massive cultivation tank. Inside, Qin Shiyuan lay as if in a coma, wearing a bizarrely designed, tight-fitting suit. Numerous tubes were inserted into her body, connecting to a large array of bottles and jars outside.

This was the emergency solution proposed by the Academy of Sciences!

Since Qin Tian hadn’t completed his task, Tang Haofei couldn’t fully activate the Seed of Destruction within Qin Shiyuan yet. Looking at the bizarre equipment filling the room, it was clear the military had long prepared for this situation.

”No problems, right?”

Qin Tian was a bit worried and couldn’t help asking.

”No problems. These things have passed our strict tests. It will only temporarily slow the absorption of the Seed of Destruction within Qin Shiyuan’s body. Once you’ve done what you need to do, everything will return to normal!”

”Alright, there’s nothing more to see here. Arthur, right? You can stay here with Qin Shiyuan. Qin Tian, come with me. I need to explain in detail what you’ll need to do in half a month!”

「...」

After hanging up with Qin Tian, Star was already flying over Berlin.

He guided Star to land. As soon as Star touched down, a large group of fully armed soldiers immediately surrounded them, aiming all manner of firearms at Wen Yu.

They feared Wen Yu was kidnapping their ’beloved and respectable’ Chancellor...

He directly tossed the pale-faced Merkel off Star’s back. Wen Yu squinted, pondering for a moment. Ignoring the ’threat’ at hand, he took out his communicator again and dialed another number.

BEEP... BEEP...

After two beeps, the other side immediately connected.

”Camille?”

”Hello, is this Wen Yu? What’s up?”

As far as Wen Yu knew, Camille was supposed to be in Spain, and Spain wasn’t too far from Germany. Since she was a member of his squad (though Wen Yu hadn’t seen Camille since the Sequence Member-Ranking Battle), now that he was in Germany, Wen Yu felt he should greet her and also discuss a few other things.

However, the connection on Camille’s end was noisy, as if all sorts of animals surrounded her, clamoring incessantly.

”You’re still in Spain, right?”

”Yeah.”

”Well, I’m just letting you know, there’s no need to come to Yanjing anymore. We’re planning to leave Yanjing in a while.”

”Oh, got it. Then you guys come to Spain and find me. I’ve found a great place...”

Camille’s mysterious words failed to pique Wen Yu’s curiosity—recent events had left him quite upset and annoyed.

”We’ll talk about that after we leave Yanjing.”

”Oh~~ If you have nowhere else to go, remember to come find me...”

”Yeah, goodbye.”

「...」

After hanging up, Wen Yu pushed Camille’s words to the back of his mind. A great place? How great could it be? In my view, there are no great places left in this world!

Then, Wen Yu turned his gaze to Merkel and the two bodyguards who had caught up again.

”Alright, I’ve finished my business. Now, it’s time for me to fulfill my promise.”

”Is there anything we need to do?”

”Can you shout ’Awesome!’? Have your warriors stand on the city walls and cheer me on...”
