You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

127: Section 127“Let’s assume that among the users who logged into Dota Mobile yesterday, five million were Honor of Kings players who joined out of curiosity or for the skins.”

“Even so, Honor of Kings’ active users yesterday were only twenty-eight million.”

“But Dota Mobile had a full forty-seven million.”

Ma Liuyun paused, clicking his tongue.

“Even if we give Honor of Kings another ten million, their user count still can’t catch up to ours.”

“This reason.”

“Isn’t it enough for me to directly announce that we are number one in daily active users?”

Listening to Ma Liuyun and Xiao Ma’s voices.

The employee who had spoken earlier slowly nodded.

“I understand.”

“Indeed, I was overthinking it just now.”

“I’ll go contact the propaganda department right away and have them release the information that Dota Mobile has returned to being number one in daily active users.”

After this person finished speaking, Xiao Ma nodded to him.

And he hurriedly left the conference room, preparing to make this information public.

At this moment, everyone in the conference room looked relaxed and confident.

Even Li Wenqiu didn’t question anything this time.

Because this time, no matter from what direction you looked at it.

Honor of Kings had once again been left behind by them.

This achievement.

Truly allowed no room for doubt.

“Our previous misjudgment of revenue was actually because we underestimated the consumption level of Honor of Kings players.”

“Players’ spending power is actually uncontrollable.”

“Due to certain events and reasons, the same number of players can exhibit completely different spending levels.”

“But the number of players is different.”

“This number is basically fixed.”

Looking at the Dota Mobile daily active users displayed on the screen beside him, Li Wenqiu paused.

“Yan Country’s mobile game industry has developed for so many years.”

“Basically, all mobile game manufacturers have reached a consensus.”

“That is.”

“The upper limit of the Yan Country mobile game player base is basically around sixty million.”

“Over the years, many mobile game manufacturers have tried to break through this number, and we at Tencent have also made such efforts, but this number is basically fixed, and no matter how hard we try to break out of the circle, it’s useless.”

“Because the Yan Country mobile game player base is only so large.”

Li Wenqiu’s tone also seemed very relaxed.

He, who was extremely wary of Wang Mo, did not believe this time that Honor of Kings’ daily active users could surpass theirs.

Because this was simply impossible.

When the number of users in Yan Country’s mobile game community was already fixed, and when they had attracted most of the users within this fixed user group.

The daily active users Honor of Kings had could only be the remaining tens of millions.

Although Ma Liuyun just said that even if the Yan Country mobile game community had seventy million, even if five million players overlapped yesterday, and even if Honor of Kings was given another ten million, Honor of Kings’ user count still couldn’t catch up to theirs.

But everyone was very clear.

Yan Country’s mobile game community could not possibly have seventy million, the number of overlapping players could never be as many as five million, and the additional ten million given at the end was even more absurd.

So.

This time, they could indeed open champagne early.

Just as Xiao Ma said.

No one present could imagine what other trump cards Honor of Kings had to fight them.

Forty-seven million out of sixty million, this could already directly announce the result.

It’s just that everyone in the arena is still unaware.

The number of mobile game players in Yan Country has already far exceeded their imagination.

Even.

Because after the Dota Mobile update, among their forty-seven million users, there were also several million new players who had never played mobile games before.

It’s just that now.

Because Tencent’s attention was all on Honor of Kings.

So they didn’t notice this change at all.

And half an hour later.

The information about Dota Mobile’s latest daily active users was made public.

It directly re-entered the weibo hot search list.

“Dota Mobile Returns to Top of Daily Active User List, Players, Tencent is Back!”

This short sentence was quickly pushed to the top of the hot search by Dota Mobile users.

Because of yesterday’s Combat Night event.

Therefore, many Dota Mobile players now had a much better impression of Tencent.

After all, yesterday.

Tencent had truly given away skins.

So most of the comments on this Weibo were congratulations.

“Congratulations, congratulations, I didn’t expect Dota Mobile’s user count to rebound so much after the reform, only a few million short of its peak.”

“Where are those people who said they would never play Dota Mobile after the update? Are they now saying it’s really good?”

“Those people who said they wouldn’t play probably really didn’t, the lost users are them.”

“I didn’t expect Honor of Kings and Dota to fight for so long, and in the end, Dota Mobile stood until the end.”

“Did I just notice that Honor of Kings hasn’t released its daily active users yet, but Dota Mobile has already announced its return to the top?”

“This is Tencent’s confidence. Before, Honor of Kings didn’t wait for Dota Mobile to release its sales figures before announcing it broke records, and now Dota Mobile also doesn’t wait for Honor of Kings to release its daily active user numbers before announcing its return to the top.”

Under this Weibo of Dota Mobile.

Many players also noticed this situation.

Dota Mobile directly announced its results, stating that it was now the mobile game with the highest daily active users in Yan Country.

They did not wait for Honor of Kings to release its results.

This was an incredibly arrogant confidence.

From Dota Mobile’s perspective, no matter how high your daily active user count is, it will never surpass ours!

This was Dota Mobile’s disdain for Honor of Kings.

Just like not long ago.

Honor of Kings’ disdain for Dota Mobile was the same.

It’s just that now.

The positions of the two games have been completely reversed.

The game that was scorned, ridiculed, and not taken seriously, had become Honor of Kings.

Under Dota Mobile’s hot search.

Many players also felt.

Is Honor of Kings’ daily active users really not looking good right now, which is why it hasn’t updated its daily active users for over a month?

However.

There were still some players who felt something was off.

“Everyone is saying that Dota Mobile has the most daily active users right now, but why are most of my friends playing Honor of Kings?”

“That’s right, the situation around me is also like this, and many friends who never played mobile games before have now become Honor of Kings users.”

Although many Honor of Kings players found it strange.

From their observations, Honor of Kings’ daily active users should not be less than Dota Mobile’s.

But the current facts seemed not to be the case.
