You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

110: Section 110However, quite a few Honor of Kings players ran to Honor of Kings’s official Weibo account, hoping they would change the timing and not directly clash with Dota Mobile.

“The popularity of Dota Mobile is exploding. Let’s reschedule the open beta event, otherwise the data will look terrible.”

“I also think the date should be changed. Dota Mobile choosing the same day is clearly targeting Honor of Kings. We shouldn’t go head-to-head with it.”

“To the few upstairs, since you know Dota Mobile is targeting Honor of Kings, do you really think that if Honor of Kings changes its event date, Dota Mobile won’t change its?”

“That makes sense, but it’s worth a try.”

“Can a master carry me to Gold rank!”

Facing the advice from these players,

Honor of Kings’s official Weibo account remained silent and did not choose to reschedule.

The outside world believed that Honor of Kings had given up resisting and wanted to let nature take its course.

Only Wang Mo knew.

It’s still uncertain who will win and who will lose.

And as players paid attention, the event dates for the two games finally drew closer.

A few days later.

The thirtieth day of Honor of Kings’s open beta.

At 8 AM that day, Honor of Kings officially pushed out an update for its open beta event.

At the same time,

Dota Mobile also pushed out an update almost simultaneously.

Because both had received immense attention beforehand,

the news about the two games holding their latest events directly climbed onto the weibo hot search list that morning.

However,

Dota Mobile was in first place, and Honor of Kings was in second place.

“Penguin Group is crazy, all skins in the mall are half price!”

“Honor of Kings open beta event begins, welcome all players to log in!”

At the same time,

the moment these two hot searches appeared on Weibo,

countless players had already frantically flooded into these two games.

For Penguin Group and Junzi Group,

they also had great confidence in their own events.

Soon, the first batch of players, who were the quickest,

had already entered the updated versions of the two games.

In a dormitory at a certain university in the Magic City.

Several college students had been waiting in front of their phones early, ready to enter the game and participate in the events.

“Damn, these new skin series for Honor of Kings are too cool.”

“And they’re directly 50% off upon release!”

The third brother’s voice rang out from his bed.

After the update was complete, the first thing he saw upon entering the game were several brand new skin series appearing on the main page.

“Third brother, are you going to buy them?”

From another direction, the second brother asked.

The third brother hesitated for a moment, but ultimately nodded.

“I can buy it. This skin is too cool, I really can’t resist, and it’s only forty yuan at half price.”

At this time, besides the third brother,

the second brother was also browsing the several new skin series released by Honor of Kings.

He watched and asked the eldest brother,

“Eldest brother, don’t you still often play Dota Mobile? Do you plan to buy any skins? I heard Dota Mobile is currently half price on everything.”

Although the eldest brother had long been a loyal Honor of Kings player, he would still often log into Dota Mobile to play a few rounds.

So he currently had both games on his phone.

Listening to the second brother’s words, the eldest brother directly shook his head.

“I just checked, including the money for opening a membership, the cheapest skin in Dota Mobile costs fifty or sixty yuan.”

“And me, well, I’ve actually always been someone who doesn’t like skins. Skins are external things, they hold no appeal to me at all. Original skins are the way to go!”

…Please give flowers…

Hearing the eldest brother say that, the second brother smiled.

“What about Honor of Kings then? Are you not planning to buy skins for this event either? The new skins are forty yuan each.”

The eldest brother still shook his head.

“External things, external things.”

“After you all buy them, watch how I use original skins to crush you.”

The second brother also expressed understanding for the eldest brother’s choice.

After all, there really is a group of people who, no matter how much game skins are discounted, will not buy them.

The eldest brother was clearly one of those people who don’t like using skins.

So even if Dota Mobile had a full discount, it held no appeal for him.

At the same time,

just as the eldest brother and the second brother were chatting,

the third brother on the bed had already clicked into the purchase interface, ready to recharge and buy this new skin.

However, just as he clicked to purchase,

what popped up was not recharge information, but another prompt message.

“Would you like to purchase this skin directly? This skin can be unlocked for free in the advanced War Order.”

Looking at the prompt message that appeared before his eyes, the third brother was stunned.

“What is the advanced War Order?”

“It seems to be the War Order that Honor of Kings mentioned before.”

The next second,

the third brother followed the prompt and clicked the War Order button.

Soon,

a pass event he had never seen before appeared before him!

This pass event was divided into two rows.

The top row was for the free pass event, and the bottom row was for the paid advanced War Order.

Both had different rewards that needed to be unlocked step by step.

However, the first thing the third brother did when he entered this interface was to focus on the first unlockable reward of the advanced War Order.

..... ... ....

This reward was the brand new skin he had just been eyeing!

And the third brother quickly found the price section for this War Order.

“The regular pass is free, the advanced pass is thirty-eight yuan!”

Seeing this, the third brother was immediately stunned.

The price of this advanced War Order was not only two yuan cheaper than buying the skin directly, but it also had other gold coins and skin shard rewards later on, making it incredibly more cost-effective than buying the skin alone.

However, at this moment,

the third brother suddenly discovered.

This War Order seemed to have more than one page; it even had a second and third page!

Subsequently,

the third brother immediately flipped through the complete War Order rewards.

This look instantly made his expression become increasingly excited and thrilled.
