Entertainment: Wanted to Acquire the Company on the First Day of Signing

126: Employee becomes bossIf that were really the case, then Chen Ting would be too heartbroken.

Su Jixing understood Lu Qingyu; he knew that Lu Qingyu would definitely not stand on the side of Xiangwan Entertainment.

However, Lu Qingyu certainly had to plan for himself, because if Black Pearl didn’t hold on and was acquired by Xiangwan Entertainment, then his contract would also be transferred to Xiangwan Entertainment.

Therefore, the best method would be for Black Pearl to let Lu Qingyu go first, but Black Pearl was currently in its darkest hour, and Lu Qingyu could be said to be their pillar; if Lu Qingyu left at this time, then Black Pearl would really collapse.

Su Jixing pondered for a moment: ”Qingyu, can you wait a little longer?”

Lu Qingyu: ”Hm?” He didn’t really mind, but looking at Black Pearl’s situation, it didn’t look like they could afford to wait!

”You still need to wait for capital injection? Aren’t you short on money?”

Chen Ting had been watching Lu Qingyu cautiously; if Lu Qingyu brought up terminating the contract now, he would truly never believe in genuine feelings in the entertainment industry again.

As a result, when he heard Lu Qingyu mention capital injection, he not only breathed a sigh of relief, but his eyes also grew warm.

”You’re not leaving?”

Lu Qingyu: ”Leave? Leave where? I just arrived at the company.”

As expected, he hadn’t been good to his younger brother for nothing; his brother wasn’t here to kick him while he was down, but to offer help in his time of need.

Although his brother was a bit naive, thinking that a few tens of millions could solve this issue, having his brother’s heart still moved him greatly.

Chen Ting: ”Qingyu, don’t worry, brother will definitely plan for you. If Black Pearl really can’t hold on, we will terminate your contract in advance.”

Lu Qingyu: ”Thanks, brother, but I don’t think it needs to be that troublesome. I’ll just inject the capital for you, won’t that work?”

Chen Ting was very gratified: ”Brother is very happy that you have this heart, but this isn’t something that can be solved with a few tens of millions. You should keep your money well to buy a car and a house in the future.”

Su Jixing knew that Lu Qingyu had some money, but given Black Pearl’s current situation, Lu Qingyu probably couldn’t afford it.

Su Jixing: ”Many of our company’s production projects are funded through advances. Xiangwan Entertainment has been sabotaging us, preventing the projects from proceeding normally, and they have also poached a large number of our artists and management staff. To salvage this situation, we need a very large sum of money.”

Lu Qingyu: ”Then how much exactly?”

Chen Ting felt that Lu Qingyu wouldn’t give up. Since that was the case, he would tell him, letting him know that his few tens of millions couldn’t help the company much at all.

”At least 800 million is needed.”

Lu Qingyu: ...

Only 800 million? It gave him a scare.

Last night, Lu Qingyu had asked Wang Ning and Qi Fei to prepare a sum of money. Because it was needed so urgently, the two of them had temporarily pooled together 1.5 billion for Lu Qingyu.

Qi Fei currently had invested in many projects abroad, so there wasn’t much liquid capital. If Lu Qingyu really needed it urgently, he could only liquidate a few stocks in his hand, which could raise another 700 or 800 million.

Su Jixing had laid so much groundwork beforehand, leading Lu Qingyu to think that this matter couldn’t be resolved without 3 billion, but after all that, it was only 800 million.

As a businessman, Lu Qingyu would absolutely not invest in Black Pearl, because he had more than just 800 million now, but he also had a special affection for Black Pearl, especially for Su Jixing and Chen Ting.

Lu Qingyu: ”I’ll give you 1 billion. In the future, the management of Black Pearl will be handed over to me, and Brother Chen can be the company’s second-largest shareholder. How about that?”

Chen Ting smiled for a rare moment: ”If there really were 1 billion, let alone being the second-largest shareholder, even if you asked me to work for you, that would be fine.”

Lu Qingyu: ”Then it’s settled.”

Chen Ting just assumed Lu Qingyu was joking. Lu Qingyu lowered his head and sent a message on his phone, and before long, Chen Ting suddenly received a phone call.

Chen Ting’s phone had been very quiet these past two days. Everyone knew he was borrowing money everywhere, so there were more people avoiding him than contacting him.

Suddenly hearing the phone ring, Chen Ting was a bit curious about who would be contacting him at this time, and then he saw it was an unfamiliar number.

Chen Ting answered the phone, and Qi Fei’s voice came from the other end.

Qi Fei contacted Chen Ting according to Lu Qingyu’s instructions and then used DS Finance to inject capital for them.

”Hello, Mr. Chen, I am Qi Fei, the person in charge of DS Finance. Our boss said he wants to inject 1 billion into Black Pearl Entertainment. I will be responsible for the subsequent matters.”

”Who in the company should I coordinate with?”

Chen Ting’s first reaction upon hearing this was that it was a scam. This was 1 billion, not 100,000 yuan. They just called up and said they would give it, without even coming to the company to investigate? Was the quality of scammers these days this low?

”Who is your boss? Tell me, let me hear, who on earth is so mentally challenged that they want to invest 1 billion in us?”

Lu Qingyu stared at Chen Ting with wide eyes. Are you not playing fair? If you don’t want to be the second-largest shareholder, just say so; we can discuss it. Why are you cursing me?

Qi Fei on the other end of the phone was also stunned. Hadn’t Lu Qingyu already discussed it with Chen Ting? How could this situation have arisen?

However, Qi Fei still very honestly said: ”Our boss is Lu Qingyu.”

Chen Ting: ”So it’s Lu Qing... wait, who did you say?”

”Lu Qingyu, me.”

Lu Qingyu, who was standing in front of Chen Ting, answered for Qi Fei directly.

The room was silent for three seconds.

Chen Ting felt his brain was a bit chaotic; how did it feel like things were exceeding his imagination?

”You, you said you want to invest how much?”

Lu Qingyu: ”One billion.”

Chen Ting: ”Holy crap!”

Su Jixing: ”Damn it!”

Su Jixing and Chen Ting both looked at Lu Qingyu with shock.

Chen Ting couldn’t care about the other end of the phone anymore: ”What kind of joke are you playing? Don’t I know how much money you have? I’m the one who pays your salary.”

”Where, where did you get so much money?”

Su Jixing also really wanted to ask Lu Qingyu this question. He knew that Qingcheng Entertainment made money, but just from an entertainment company, one couldn’t possibly make that much money!

Lu Qingyu: ”Of course, I earned it from investments.”

Su Jixing: ”But Qingcheng Entertainment couldn’t earn that much. You didn’t evade taxes, did you?”

Lu Qingyu: ”How is that possible? I am a law-abiding good citizen.”

Chen Ting still didn’t believe it. He owned a company himself, so how could he not understand the profitability of this industry? Moreover, Qingcheng Entertainment had been established for a short time; even if the entertainment industry was lucrative, it wasn’t lucrative to this extent.

Lu Qingyu looked at their suspicious gazes; those gazes were as if they were saying, ”Did you traffic arms?”

...

”Of course, Qingcheng Entertainment alone couldn’t earn that much, but I have other businesses.”

Lu Qingyu began to list the businesses he had expanded into:

”YU Hot Pot Restaurant Chain has over 50 chain stores nationwide, and currently more than 46 are in a profitable state. DS Finance has made many investments domestically, and the returns are quite good. Also, I bought a piece of land before, and that land has now been converted into an airport, so I received quite a lot of subsidies. Oh, right, and I also received a lot of child support.”

As Lu Qingyu explained this, ten thousand expletives flashed through the minds of Chen Ting and Su Jixing.

Chen Ting: ”This f*cking sounds like he’s way too rich.”

And definitely richer than himself.

There was already admiration in Chen Ting’s eyes as he looked at Lu Qingyu.

He had been working in the entertainment industry for over 10 years, and Black Pearl Entertainment was his only asset.

But Lu Qingyu was only 18, right? How did he manage to make so many investments while working so busily, and they were all actually profitable? How was he so good at doing business?
