Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 890: Chapter 20: Asphyxia

Su Xiao looked at the female owner of the bar, thought for a moment, and then said, ”Serena Gabriela Virginia...”

Hearing this, Su Xiao paused. Noticing the situation, Yukidaseki Tanxi elbowed Su Xiao, moving her mouth silently.

”Uh~ right, Karina Salome, what a weird name, so long.”

After Su Xiao stated the full name of the bar’s owner, Serena, the chatter in the bar came to a halt, and all the patrons turned their eyes towards Su Xiao and Yukidaseki Tanxi.

”So they’ve come after all.”

The bar owner, Serena, squinted her eyes, a dangerous glint in them. Her black-lipsticked thin lips pressed tightly together. If one were to liken this woman to an animal, it would be a poisonous snake, a colorful venomous snake.

”Ladies and gentlemen, trouble has come my way.”

Serena licked her lips, standing in front of the many bar patrons.

”Someone indeed has the nerve to mess with the Snake of Yinhua.”

”Flower Snake, as discussed earlier, help me settle this trouble, and tonight, I am yours.”

Dozens of bar patrons stood up, retrieving various firearms from under the tables. These guns were advanced, not comparable to those outside of Academy City. The unrelated people in the bar, realizing the situation was unfavorable, fled the bar within seconds.

Facing dozens of guns at such close range, Yukidaseki Tanxi instantly lost her bravado and chose to stand behind Su Xiao.

”Kill them, use that kind of energy blade that swishes through the air.”

Yukidaseki Tanxi smirked slyly, but Su Xiao remained unmoved. He pressed a button on the signal transmitter in his hand, the transmitter tossed towards the patrons, and a 150-point strength energy shield appeared before him.

”Fire!”

A burly man wielding a multi-barreled rotary gun was just about to pull the trigger when a bullet shot through the wall at the front of the bar.

With a crack, the bullet created a hole dozens of centimeters wide in the wall, then continued into the crowd.

Blood and limbs splattered; that was the power of a heavy sniper rifle bullet. With one shot, it pierced through three patrons. The fact proved that getting hit by such a bullet didn’t just leave a bullet hole; the impact site exploded into a large cavity.

Furious gunfire tilted towards the bar, and ten seconds later, the left side of the bar was littered with shattered corpses, blood and flesh spattered across walls and ceiling.

Following the overwhelming firepower assault, the patrons instinctively dropped their guns; most knelt on the ground, holding their heads, trembling uncontrollably.

The sound of retching was heard, and several youths with handguns bent over, vomiting the strong liquor they had just drunk, filling the bar with a sour smell.

”Run!”

Not sure which patron shouted, but they began to stick close to the walls, swiftly heading towards the already shattered wall to distance themselves from Su Xiao.

The patrons, who previously resembled a terror organization, scattered in an instant. The bar’s female owner, Serena, lay sideways on the floor, her leg shattered by a bullet. Beside her lay a blood-stained notebook, her casting medium.

Though Serena was a magician, her abilities leaned towards intelligence gathering and reconnaissance, with her combat skills being subpar.

Su Xiao walked up to Serena, squatted down, while Serena, in pain, grimaced, her eyes filled with hatred as she glared at Su Xiao.

”Where is Kanzaki Kaori?”

”Pah!”

Su Xiao tilted his head, dodging Serena’s spit.

”One day soon, this place will vanish under magic, that day is near...”

Before Serena could finish her sentence, Su Xiao suddenly grabbed her front clothing, pulling it over her head, and placed a foot on her abdomen. As Serena’s underwear was exposed, she struggled with all her might, thinking Su Xiao would ’grind her into the ground.’ Witnessing this, Yukidaseki Tanxi snorted lightly and muttered to hurry up and finish it.

However, a few minutes later, Serena would have preferred if Su Xiao did ground her, as it turned out to be a fate far worse than death.

Su Xiao grabbed a blood-stained wine bottle from the side, unscrewed it, and poured the liquor over Serena’s head.

The liquor soaked into the fabric over Serena’s head, and with her hurried breathing, she inhaled the spirit through the cloth, the spicy vodka rushing into her airways.

”Mmm mmm mmm~”

The more Serena struggled, the more intense it became. After emptying the bottle over her, Su Xiao released her.

Serena yanked the fabric off her head, her face turning red, coughing violently as if she were about to hack up her lungs.

”Cough cough cough, blegh~”

After a bout of struggling, Serena gasped for air, trembling, with the spicy suffocation she just experienced being worse than death.

”Where is Kanzaki Kaori?”

Su Xiao’s tone was calm.

”I won’t...”

Su Xiao once again covered Serena’s head with her clothes, extending his hand flatly. Seeing this, Yukidaseki Tanxi teleported another bottle into his hand, this time a stronger one, as this young girl had a bit of a wicked streak.

Liquor poured down as Serena began to weep amidst her struggles.

Ten minutes later, Serena lay feebly on the ground.

”Where is Kanzaki Kaori?”

Su Xiao repeated the question, sounding like the devil’s whisper to Serena.

”In, in...”

Serena gritted her teeth.

”In the Juvenile Reformation Facility... on the east side... an abandoned warehouse.”

Saying this seemed to exhaust all of Serena’s strength, tears sliding down her cheek.

”Thank you for your cooperation.”

Su Xiao got up and walked out of the bar. Although Aleister knew where Kanzaki Kaori was, he wouldn’t provide the exact location because it involved the overt relationship between the Science Side and Magic Side and various internal conflicts.

As Su Xiao exited the bar, a dozen members of the Hunting Dog Unit, clad in black combat suits, steel helmets, and gas masks, completely covered, surrounded the bar.

At some point, a perimeter had already been set around the bar; these were the cleanup crew of the Hunting Dog Unit.

Bang, bang, bang...

Gunshots echoed from the bar, the Hunting Dog Unit’s style being none left alive, though valuable targets might be an exception.

Su Xiao looked towards a half-built building a few hundred meters away. He turned on the wireless earpiece and said something before the sniper responsible for the getaway vehicle ran over quickly.

”Mister Bai Ye.”

The sniper instinctively wanted to salute but then remembered something, freezing his hand mid-air, no longer a soldier, now a small fry in the executioners’ unit, stripped of even his name.

”You did well. I’ll incorporate you into my task force.”

The sniper’s previous shots left a deep impression on Su Xiao; precise, without hesitation.

”Mister Bai Ye, this...”

Before the sniper could finish, Su Xiao waved his hand.

”That black gas mask.”

Su Xiao looked towards a member of the Hunting Dog Unit, a squad leader.

”Help me get in touch with Kihara Amata.”

”...”

The squad leader said nothing, simply taking out a communication device, following orders becoming his instinct.

Su Xiao didn’t have much contact with the Hunting Dog Unit, the only impression being that these ruthless, skilled warriors proficient in firearms were quite good, following commands without emotional fluctuations from missions, executing with fierce precision, and professionalism.

A moment later, the squad leader got in touch with Kihara Amata.

”What do you need?”

Kihara Amata’s voice came through, sounding from a communication device similar to a walkie-talkie.
