Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 758: Chapter 68: The Overpowered Blue Steel Shadow

[Teleportation completed, Hunter returns to exclusive room,]

[The exclusive room is an absolute safe point; no one can enter without the Hunter’s permission.]

[Hunter has returned to Reincarnation Paradise, commencing settlement of Derivative World rewards.]

Derivative World: Fate/Zero

Difficulty: Level 20

World Source acquired: 88.9%.

Number of tasks completed: 5. (Main task ×1, Talent Awakening Task ×3, Hidden Task ×1.)

Comprehensive evaluation: S+. (Note: The rating ranges from E- to S+. The comprehensive evaluation is calculated based on the total World Source acquired and the number of tasks completed.)

Begin to collect World Source...

World Source collection completed, starting reward statistics.

Rewards: 30 attribute points (includes those obtained in the Derivative World), 42,000 Paradise coins.

Comprehensive evaluation is S+, the current Hunter level is Level 16, Hunter Level +4 (Derivative World Tier × number of tasks completed + comprehensive evaluation - task completion time), Hunter Level has been raised to Level 20.

Tip: Hunter Level has reached Level 20. The next Derivative World will conduct a Second Tier preliminary assessment of the Hunter. If the assessment is completed, it will activate the trial assessment for promotion to the Third Tier.

Settlement completed, rewards have been automatically deposited into the Hunter’s Brand.

...

Lying in the exclusive room, Su Xiao spat out a mouthful of blood. He was hit by a ’hammer’ when returning, coupled with the trouble of space teleportation, he was already in a brink of death state.

[Detected damage to Hunter’s body function, pay Paradise coins for repair?]

”Pay.”

Emerald green light spots appeared, enveloping Su Xiao, as if he was soaking in a hot spring, feeling completely comfortable, the wounds and broken arm recovered quickly.

[Recovery completed, a total of 8670 Paradise coins consumed.]

Seeing the amount of Paradise coins consumed, Su Xiao felt a pang of heartache. He realized that as his physical attributes continuously improved, the amount of Paradise coins required to heal injuries increased.

Moving his fully recovered right arm, there was not the slightest discomfort, as if this arm had never been severed, the prior excruciating pain seemed like an illusion.

This is the power of Reincarnation Paradise. It’s not about regenerating the arm, but restoring it to its former state.

It’s important to know there is an essential distinction between the two; if a new arm were to regenerate, Su Xiao would need to retrain and adapt, but restoring it to the pre-severed state requires no training because it’s his original arm.

With his injuries fully healed, Su Xiao stretched his muscles and bones.

”The level upgrade is a bit too fast...”

Su Xiao furrowed his brow; from successfully advancing to a Second-Tier Hunter to now, he had only experienced three Derivative Worlds.

Because his comprehensive evaluation was always very high, this caused his level to soar; for an ordinary contractor to go from early Second Tier to a Third Tier assessment, at least 7-8 visits to Reincarnation Paradise would be needed, and that’s considering all main tasks in each Derivative World are completed.

As for the workers, most don’t even have a promotion assessment. Once they reach the level, they immediately advance to the next Tier automatically, while only a select few possessing Special Abilities have assessment tasks, like mastering high-level forging, mechanics, etc.

This is understandable; given that most workers have such poor combat strength, sending them to a Trial World is essentially sending them to their deaths; let alone survival trials, those workers enter the Derivative World each time, crying out for help and grabbing onto others for support.

Su Xiao has already experienced a Tier promotion once, so this time he will prepare more comprehensively.

For now, ignoring the Tier promotion matter, Su Xiao recalled that the Blue Steel Shadow ability had been raised to Level 30, and he hadn’t yet checked the attributes of the Blue Steel Shadow ability.

This upgrade of the Blue Steel Shadow ability had caused such a noticeable change without even checking the detailed data, clearly indicating the significant increase.

Opening the Skill List, the details of the Blue Steel Shadow ability appeared.

[Blue Steel Shadow: LV.30 (Active skill)]

Usage condition: When (Blue Steel Shadow) is activated, the Hunter consumes 100 mana points per minute, and it automatically deactivates when mana value falls below 1%.

Skill Effect: Activating (Blue Steel Shadow) causes each close combat attack to burn 160 mana points of the enemy, and inflicts true damage equal to 1.5 times the burned mana points (240 true damage), causing intense pain after mana is burned.

Lv.20 additional ability

Proud Song: This is a defensive form; an energy shield of any shape can be generated to defend against enemy attacks, with the energy shield’s strength being proportional to the mana value consumed, with a single use mana limit of 500 points (an increase of 100 points).

Lv.30 additional ability

Soul Electrification: When Blue Steel Shadow energy burns the enemy’s mana value, there is a 12% chance to trigger one of three abnormal states: paralysis, immobilization, or dizziness, with durations ranging from 0.2 to 3 seconds (determined by the Hunter’s Intelligence Attribute for abnormal state durations).

Tip: This abnormal state activates without need for an effect check.

Tip: This ability is passively triggered and has no cooldown.

Tip: Abnormal states cannot stack.

...

Seeing the effect of Blue Steel Shadow at Level 30, Su Xiao was stunned. Although he had anticipated that upgrading Blue Steel Shadow to Level 30 would result in a qualitative change, he never expected it to become this strong.

However, the mana consumption is becoming increasingly alarming, which is no wonder why the Intelligence Attribute becomes one of the main attributes of the Shadow of Annihilation Law. Without enough mana, activating the Blue Steel Shadow for a few minutes will render it ’silent’.

Despite the frightening level of mana consumption, the true damage caused by the Blue Steel Shadow has reached an alarming level. If anyone were to ask about the strengths of the Blue Steel Shadow, Su Xiao would unhesitatingly answer: the true damage caused when burning the enemy’s mana value.

Apart from a few passive skills and rare equipment, most abilities cannot inflict true damage, and some First Tier contractors don’t even know what true damage is.

The additional capabilities of Blue Steel Shadow at Level 30 should also not be underestimated. Due to a certain skill (Absolute Demon Physique), Su Xiao was unable to grasp most control skills, and equipment that came with control skills usually struggled to activate control effects, leaving Su Xiao without enemy control abilities.

But with Blue Steel Shadow reaching Level 30, Su Xiao obtained an extremely powerful control ability. As long as the enemy was eroded by Blue Steel Shadow energy, there was a 12% chance to trigger control effects, randomly activating one among the three control effects, significantly boosting the chance of triggering.

What Su Xiao noticed as a key point is that as long as an enemy triggers a control effect, the Soul Electrification ability takes effect directly, without needing any check, which is the most satisfying aspect of Soul Electrification.

The current scenario is that as long as an enemy gets slashed by Su Xiao and, unfortunately, triggers one of the three abnormal states, it essentially pronounces the enemy’s death sentence.

Su Xiao doesn’t need enemies to be dizzy or immobilized for 3 seconds. If he can hold the enemy for just 0.2 seconds, they won’t even get the chance to use any recovery-type potions and will be directly slashed into pieces by him.

Su Xiao was very pleased with the Blue Steel Shadow ability at Level 30. No, he was ecstatic. According to his estimation, with the Blue Steel Shadow ability upgraded to Level 30, his combat strength was increased by at least 20%, making him eagerly anticipate what kind of ability would emerge after Blue Steel Shadow reaches Level 40.

After reviewing the Blue Steel Shadow ability, Su Xiao was left puzzled by one issue: where did the ’Green Shadow King’ ability go? This is likely a big move, and although it has not awakened yet, losing it would be a massive regret.
