Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 751: Chapter 61: Castle

Tiles fell to the ground as Webber swallowed hard. Although the man on the roof was his enemy, Webber couldn’t help but have a single thought: he also wanted to become such a person, commanding with an unmatchable presence, his words law and his demeanor exceptional.

Setting aside Webber’s thoughts, the Conqueror King beside him really wanted to agree to Su Xiao’s proposal. It seemed as if the two sides were in a standoff, but actually, it was not so; his master was in danger of losing his life at any moment. Su Xiao’s terrifying speed, which he had witnessed once, was so overwhelming that even if he summoned the King’s momentum, he could not guarantee his master’s life.

”Kid, do you believe in me, in the Conqueror King- Iskandar?”

The Conqueror King stared at Webber, who gently caressed the command seal on the back of his hand. It was the only means he had to control the Conqueror King.

”I... believe in you.”

”Hahaha.”

The Conqueror King laughed heartily, his laughter bold and unrestrained.

”Berserker, we can afford to use three command seals, but how can you assure me that after using three command seals, you won’t suddenly turn and start killing?”

The Conqueror King considered everything thoroughly. If Webber used up three command seals and then Su Xiao attacked, they would have incurred a great loss.

”You have no choice, as I said earlier, you have already lost, Conqueror King.”

Su Xiao sheathed the Dragon Slash, making an appropriate gesture.

”Kid, use the command seals as he said. We have no choice.”

”But...”

Webber hesitated a little.

”No nonsense, you have 20 seconds to decide. If you don’t agree, I’ll chop you to pieces.”

Su Xiao suddenly spoke, and ’Queen’ Webber shivered with fright.

”Well... okay.”

Webber raised his arm.

”By the power of the command seal, Alexander the Great- Iskandar, you’re not allowed to pat my shoulder again.”

”By the power of the command seal, Alexander the Great- Iskandar, you must win the Holy Grail battle.”

”By the power of the command seal, Alexander the Great- Iskandar, you must...”

The first two command seals used by Webber went smoothly, but with the third, he got stuck, unable to think of what to say.

”You must... survive this Holy Grail War!”

The three command seals were all used up, and Webber’s shoulders drooped as if he had exhausted all his strength.

”Is that enough? Damn it, why are there such strange requirements?”

Webber looked up at Su Xiao and saw that the rooftop was already empty.

”Did he leave?”

”Yeah, in the instant you bowed your head.”

”That’s good.”

Webber smiled, relieved to be rid of this God of Killing.

”But... kid.”

The Conqueror King looked up.

”What’s wrong?”

”What do we do about the roof?”

”Huh?”

Webber stared blankly at the devastated rooftop, where a broken tile slid down.

...

Su Xiao leaped between houses. Now there were still two Masters left unresolved. He didn’t need to specifically search for their positions, using the tracking feature was enough.

After leaping over rooftops for a few minutes, Su Xiao stopped and shortly afterward, Bubu Wang joined him.

”Activate Large-Scale Detection.”

[Large-Scale Detection (Active) has been activated.]

[Randomly detecting among Masters with command seals...]

[Remaining Masters with command seals: 2 people, randomly selecting...]

[Detection successful, successfully located the position of Emiya Kiritsugu, and has sent the real-time coordinates to the Hunter’s reincarnation brand, remaining tracking time 9 minutes 59 seconds.]

A light flickered before Su Xiao, and a semi-transparent screen appeared. The screen content was a map with Su Xiao at the center, spanning 100,000 square kilometers. Fuyuki City was just a small part of it.

On the map, a red dot was flashing, roughly located in the southwest corner of Fuyuki City.

Su Xiao zoomed in on the map; the position of the red dot became more precise.

”So it’s here, how unexpected.”

Before, Su Xiao thought Emiya Kiritsugu had already left Fuyuki City, hiding in other nearby cities.

Now it seemed otherwise; Emiya Kiritsugu not only hadn’t left Fuyuki City but had actually stayed in the Einzbern Family’s castle.

As one of the Three Major Magic Families, the castle where the Einzbern Family resided was a landmark in Fuyuki City. The reason was that there was another castle in the world with over 95% similarity to this one, also belonging to the Einzbern Family.

The Einzbern Family’s castle had two locations, with the original site in Germany; the one in Fuyuki City was a replica built after the one in Germany.

Furthermore, the Einzbern Family’s castle was full of traps. Forget about infiltrating it; even approaching its vicinity was hazardous.

Su Xiao, guided by the map’s direction, rode on Bubu Wang heading towards the castle where Emiya Kiritsugu was located.

...

In the southwest corner of Fuyuki City, a European-style castle stood. The area it occupied wasn’t large, but the layout was reasonable. A few cherry blossom trees in the courtyard added a touch of vitality to the majestic castle.

A gentle breeze blew by, causing the cherry blossom trees in the castle courtyard to rustle, with pink petals drifting in the wind.

A few maidservants dressed as nuns were sweeping the petals in the courtyard. Their skin was white and tender, so delicate it seemed it could break at a touch; each one was an impeccable beauty.

Specifically speaking, these maids weren’t human; they were homunculi created by the Einzbern Family, usually responsible for household chores and taking care of the Einzeberlin Clan’s daily life. However, once an outside enemy intruded, they would take up weapons and become formidable warriors.

”Eliza, after cleaning the courtyard, you should prepare lunch in advance. Today’s lunch must be sumptuous.”

”Hmm.”

”Are the ingredients fresh?”

”Very fresh, delivered two hours ago.”

”How about the safety aspect?”

”No issue; I tasted it personally.”

”That’s good then.”

The maids divided the work among themselves. They were completely loyal to the Einzbern Family, carrying out any order without hesitation, even if it meant sacrificing their lives.

While the maids conversed, a mechanical eye the size of a dragon’s eye landed above the castle. Maid Eliza turned her head toward the castle, observing for a long time without noticing anything unusual.

In the forest a kilometer from the castle, on a towering ancient tree reaching dozens of meters tall and uncertain of how many years it had grown, a brown bear lay on the ground below, bleeding from its seven orifices, occasionally twitching.

This brown bear wasn’t an ordinary creature but one modified through alchemy. Should it be killed, an immediate alert would be sent to the castle a kilometer away.

High up on the towering ancient tree, Su Xiao set the Spider Queen sniper rifle on a branch, checking the condition of the chamber and gun.

Infiltrating the castle head-on wasn’t a wise choice. The castle was booby-trapped, even without mentioning the artificial human maids and Saber, which were not easy to deal with.

Su Xiao opted to resolve the situation with a sniper approach. Though Emiya Kiritsugu was a magician, the Spider Queen could easily leave a Heroic Spirit half-dead; sniping a Master meant that a single hit would shatter Emiya Kiritsugu as violently as a squashed tomato.

While it sounded easy, this was not so in reality.

First, Su Xiao had to confirm Emiya Kiritsugu’s specific location within the castle, which was the job of the Eye of the Apostle above the castle.

That wasn’t the main challenge. The critical issue was that Saber was also in the castle. With her Level A intuition ability, Saber would instantly detect the Eye of the Apostle’s probing and respond accordingly.

Considering the severe incompatibility between Saber and Emiya Kiritsugu, the two were likely not very close during non-combat times. This meant that from the moment Saber sensed Su Xiao’s hostility to when she arrived by Emiya Kiritsugu’s side, it would take approximately 2 to 7 seconds.

Therefore, Su Xiao needed to lock onto Emiya Kiritsugu the moment the Eye of the Apostle detected him, providing him with about 3 to 7 shots.
