Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

For example, say the place where the Treasure is located is the lair of some beast, and it takes someone at Second Stage to kill that beast.

Then the Difficulty of obtaining this Treasure will be marked as Hunter (Second Stage) like that.

But if the area where the Treasure is located is a large region, and there might be danger within that large region, then the Treasure won’t list a final Difficulty.

Because if your luck’s good and you’re not that unlucky, you can find it without alarming any monsters or running into danger.

Alka used to think they took the highest Difficulty, but later he realized they actually took the lowest Difficulty.

”Then I’ll pick a spot myself and head there,” Jason thought for a moment and said. He wanted to test his luck and see if he could pick up a Treasure.

”Of course, no problem.”

Jason looked at the two circles, thought for a bit, tapped one of them and said, ”This one.”

Alka looked over; this point was marked as the one with Child Difficulty.

His luck really was pretty good.

”You really know how to pick. If you can’t even find this Treasure, I’m totally going to make fun of you.”

Everyone gradually gathered over. Alka looked at them and thought for a bit.

”Jason, Ulu Liwus, Juanlu. You three form a team and go to the place Jason picked,” Alka said.

The three of them nodded.

The main reason for splitting them like this was that Jason and Ulu Liwus together were very strong.

Right now in the team, the three powerhouses were Alka, Chadite, and Jason plus Ulu Liwus.

All three had the strength to handle a Sixth Stage enemy; if it was a Sixth Stage Demon, there was even a high chance they could win.

The others could at most stall a Sixth Stage; of course, they could still be invincible within their own Stage.

”Julia, Pororo, Matilda, you three come with me. The rest of you stay behind at the camp.”

The ones staying at camp were exactly the three who had followed Alka out to search before with Simon; having them stay behind again was just right.

And the very strong Chadite was also at the camp, able to guard it well.

Jason’s team had also been arranged with care: whether after fusion or transformed into a Giant Dragon, Ulu Liwus could carry Juanlu and retreat quickly. After all, he had a pair of wings, and being able to fly quickly with powerful attacks was an absolute advantage.

And once anything happened, Alka could also rush over to support them quickly.

After saying that, Alka took out a Mirror and handed it to Jason.

”This Mirror needs 30 seconds to deploy. Once it’s fully deployed, you can traverse back in the direction of the camp, but remember, the maximum traverse distance is only 30 kilometers.

Its main use is, if something goes wrong, you throw it on the ground and then wait for us to come support you.”

Jason nodded to show he understood.

”Also, I don’t know exactly what the environment there is like, but the Treasure should be buried in the ground, and definitely not deep.

Once you get there, search more carefully. It’s the kind of stash even little kids can find.”

Jason nodded again; in that case it definitely wouldn’t be hard.

Then Alka felt something was off, and reassigned the Star of Vastva as well as Lucilia and Simon into Jason’s team.

He added Chadite into his own team.

After that, the two teams brought along all the Puppet Girls from the camp.

Only then did they leave the camp with peace of mind.

Mainly, after thinking it over, Alka felt splitting into three teams was too unsafe, and there wasn’t anything at the camp that absolutely required someone to stay.

Their strength and various methods, split into two small teams, was the minimum needed to ensure safety. If they split further, once an accident happened, they couldn’t guarantee safety, especially since right now on this World Scar there was still a damn Demon eyeing them like a tiger.

The point where Jason’s group was heading was relatively close to camp and should only take about half a day. There and back, they should return to camp at night.

Alka’s group, though, was a bit farther. If the digging went slow, they might have to wait until the second day to get back to camp.

With Chadite and the other three, Alka quickly sprinted toward the distance.

They kept running for almost five hours.

Chadite suddenly said, ”We’re being watched.”

As he spoke, he looked toward the sky.

Alka turned his head and looked up; a mass of dense, bird-like black dots were rapidly swooping toward them.

”Prepare to engage!”

Alka spoke and came to a halt on the spot.

That dense swarm was made up of all sorts of strange crows, apparently the mutant avians of this region.

But although these crows were numerous and could fly, their strength really wasn’t much.

Most of them were at about Second Stage.

Chadite stopped, leapt into midair, and threw a single punch toward the flock of crows diving down, condensing it into a spreading shockwave.

That strike instantly turned into a powerful area attack.

A circular wave of compressed air rippled outward.

As if hit by something, those crows instantly turned into one blood mist after another, their blood becoming vapor that drifted down.

Making the others, who had been about to act, silently withdraw their hands.

Compared to everyone else’s methods, Chadite’s was the real simple and brutal one.

”Hostility present,” Julia suddenly said.

Which meant there was still someone hiding in the dark.

The instant her words fell, Chadite unleashed silver ripples to conduct a large-scale search and finally found that Demon a kilometer away.

His whole body turned into a shooting star and charged straight toward where that Demon was.
