Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

After listening to Lucilia’s story, Jason thought for a moment and asked, ”So I want to know how big that place is, and if we want to take down the Swallowing Mouth there, how difficult would it be?”

”How big, huh... Let me think, compared to... it’s like an island as big as the Sea of Moisture, it could actually be called a land.”

”Is it that big?” Alka said somewhat surprised.

Now only the Land of Fragrance that has separated from the Sea of Moisture might compare.

That is also the largest island they’ve seen so far, like a small piece of land.

Under the power of the Flower Fairy’s revival, it separated from the Sea of Moisture and became a huge island.

And the overall area of the Sea of Moisture can truly be described as a continent.

”Of course, it wasn’t that big from the start, but because after the World Scar, demons became more and more.

But you know, demons have no real advantage on the sea surface, so they used the power of the Abyss to summon a volcano there, slowly expanding the area to an exaggerated size like the Sea of Moisture through volcanic eruptions and lava,” Lucilia said.

Despite the chaotic Abyss, with demons of all strange forms.

Overall, these demons can only be described as terrestrial creatures, with few adapted to seawater.

Plus, various churches and organizations have completely blocked the demons pouring out from the World Scar there.

Even if the demons expand their territory, besides the blockade on land, there’s also a blockade at sea, almost completely surrounding the place.

There might even be a Divine force at work there, and Alka felt sure there would be a Divine power in action.

To this day, the demons have not broken through that place, and as time goes by, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to break through there.

”And the Swallowing Mouth we want to take down, he was originally the vanguard of the invaders, and later became one of the commanders due to his achievements.

There are three demon commanders in total, and the Swallowing Mouth ranks third among them, with power roughly at the newcomer Eighth Stage level.”

”Newcomer Eighth Stage, huh...” Hearing this, Juanlu leaned back in his chair, clearly indicating a long-term battle strategy.

But it must be said, not resolving this matter is indeed a problem. After all, being targeted by such a cunning demon is really not an easy thing.

”This is already weakened power, though the Endless Sea is a shattered world, but it can still be considered a world with powerful Divine protection.

These demons would only be stronger in the Abyss; coming here, they are somewhat suppressed in power.

The newcomer Eighth Stage is all because the Swallowing Mouth has been sealed and killed too many times since the Divine War Era,”

Lucilia said, flipping through the massive book in front of her.

They knew this in advance.

After all, the earliest records of the Swallowing Mouth were in the Golden Era, but during that era, it really wasn’t considered a major threat.

There were too many Divine entities and all kinds of divine beings that could crush it.

At that time, whatever it did in this world, it had to be done cautiously.

Eventually, it probably angered someone, got crippled by a Divine in the Divine War Era, and it wasn’t until a few thousand years ago that it revived after tens of thousands of years.

After reviving, it toppled a powerful Empire.

”So even if we take it down, it doesn’t really die, and after many years it will revive again?” Jason asked next to her.

This question didn’t even need Lucilia to answer, as Ulu Liwus immediately responded, ”There are two ways: one, charge into the Abyss and kill it there. Tradition tells us that this demon can be compared to a Divine entity in the Abyss.

Second, make it separate its true form and soul from the Abyss into reality. At this point, targeted attacks might completely kill it.

Even if it doesn’t die, in the Abyss it will be rendered in tatters, devoured by other hostile demons.”

Upon hearing these two methods, it was clear Ulu Liwus’s meaning was simple: don’t think about completely taking it down, the difficulty is high.

”Although the Swallowing Mouth is a demon, as we saw before, it’s a cunning demon fond of devilish forms. It would never allow itself to be at such a disadvantage.

So our goal is to take it down once, which means it will pose no threat to this world for at least several decades.

As for decades later, if by then we still fear it, then perhaps those decades would be wasted,” Alka said directly.

This statement may seem arrogant, but for everyone, it was indeed the truth.

If decades later they would still fear the newly revived Swallowing Mouth, that would be really unexpected.

”Alright, let’s discuss specifics when we arrive at the World Scar.”

Alka said, tapping the table, essentially ending the meeting, and then told everyone, ”Let’s exchange our remaining money for various materials we need, just keep some spare.”

This time, they were clearly going to stay there for a long, long time.

”And prepare more supplies from Vastva.”

After assigning some tasks, everyone left the captain’s cabin.

They began to get busy with their own tasks.

......

After a month, they finished purchasing various spell materials, ores, and herbs from them.
