Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

The overall structure seems to be forged from gold, and the cup appears very luxurious and ostentatious.

If not for the relief sculptures depicting a Dionysian banquet from the Golden Era on it, this cup would indeed have a somewhat gaudy luxurious style.

Or perhaps the Dionysian from the past was an ostentatious, gaudy god of extravagance.

Alka infused magic power into the cup.

Of the treasures he possessed, three repelled each other, while the cup repelled four.

Of course, Alka could also use his scepter-level treasure to suppress the cup and enforce its use.

But doing so would be meaningless, like using an ordinary magic item.

It would require some effort to control.

”I didn’t expect we’d so easily obtain a holy grail-level treasure?”

Chadite couldn’t help but say as he glanced at the cup he took over.

Upon hearing this, Alka looked up at the sky, thinking it was indeed very easy for them.

For others, this treasure might remain buried below forever unless one day someone unearthed the tomb below.

Or unless new tomb raiders or treasure hunting teams explored these tombs and had a fortuitous discovery.

However, for Alka, treasures like this, lost due to unexpected circumstances, which are buried somewhere unknown outside, are the easiest to obtain.

Such accidentally lost treasures for Alka are like picking up money.

The greatest effort needed is simply due to the differing locations of loss, requiring more energy to find.

No deliberate concealment, no protective rituals for storage, no powerful guardians.

Just buried in a place possibly never to be known.

For Alka, it’s like picking up money.

”It’s a pity, we don’t really need a holy grail-level treasure anymore.” Simon remarked regretfully at the cup.

”Sell it! It’s a treasure, after all, and it’s the Cup of Intoxication used by the Great Emperor of Saralan. Trust me, it’ll definitely fetch a price higher than what’s warranted for a holy grail-level treasure.” Chadite laughed as he looked at the cup in his hand.

At this moment, the sky suddenly darkened, as the curtain of night veiled the sky.

Upon seeing this, everyone quickly made their way back to the camp.

When everyone returned to the camp.

Jason looked at Alka and the others and said: ”Did you find anything? You’ve been outside for a whole day.”

Which is to say for about 20 hours.

Hearing this, Alka shook the cup he held in his hand.

”Is this the one?”

”Yes, it’s the Cup of Intoxication.”

Everyone in the camp gathered around, not expecting that just spending one day out, originally to scout.

In the end, Alka and the group directly obtained it.

The scouting turned directly into a journey of harvest.

”Tell me how you got it.” Ulu Liwus asked out of curiosity.

Chadite recounted their day’s adventures while Alka placed the cup on the table for everyone to admire.

He himself opened the map, looking at the dimmed golden dot.

[Cup of Intoxication]

[Difficulty: Tomb Raider]

[Fame: 665,000]

[Treasure Information: The goblet used by the founder emperor of the Saralan Empire, the Savior.

For someone in such a high position and a lover of fine wine. This was the ruler of the empire’s most beloved item.

Left behind in a tomb not belonging to him.

This is a treasure that can enhance the flavor of fine wines poured into it and elevate the drinks with special effects. This function can be used without controlling the treasure.]

Wait, Alka looked at the last line of the description that appeared after obtaining the treasure.

Meaning, as described above, the function of enhancing the flavor of the wine in the cup and adding special effects to the drink can occur automatically without needing to master the treasure.

Seeing this effect, Alka didn’t think it was fake.

He slapped his forehead, suddenly realizing. If this is true, it explains the previous situation.

Which means this treasure wasn’t suitable for the Great Emperor of Saralan, but he discovered this function and thus kept using it.

Because this treasure can perform its core function without being mastered.

It’s similar to if the treasure was in the form of a sword, one that is exceptionally strong and sharp. Even if you don’t master the treasure, not using its special abilities, it’s still a sword, capable of being wielded and remaining sharp.

You can even use the sword’s properties to block enemy attacks because it is extremely hard to damage.

This is also why weapon-type treasures or shield-type treasures are so valuable. Because their form and the attributes of the treasure itself provide additional enhancements.

The decision point on whether the value of this treasure will increase lies in the special effects it can bestow upon the wine poured into the cup—what exactly are they?

”So this is actually a treasure? You just went out for a day and brought back a treasure?” Jason asked with wide eyes at Chadite’s account.

Chadite nodded: ”Though hard to believe, that’s exactly how it happened.”

”Then what’s the difference between this and picking up money? When can I go on a treasure hunt like this, why is luck on your side?” Jason asked, somewhat puzzled.
