Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Just stay here until we can completely eliminate this demon.

Choosing the first option means enduring the possibility of danger at any moment, even though they have reached a level of strength where they’re not afraid of the jaws of devouring in the outside world.

After all, it is their opponent, and they have already done their homework. The jaws of devouring, like most of the demons here, are trapped here, but it can use its special abilities and some means to create a clone to wreak havoc in the outside world.

Even if the clone in the outside world dies, it will only have a moderate impact on it. The strongest this clone can reach is only Tier Six.

Apparently, this cunning demon knows it as well, and will surely use other methods to target Alka and the others.

Weakening the strength of the strong and using various insidious methods to ambush. No one can guarantee they will always remain alert and always in a state of perfection.

There are far too many deadly methods of defeating the strong with the weak, and Alka and the others are not too keen on having to constantly guard against this demon suddenly appearing while sailing outside.

Moreover, to meet such conditions, they must first upgrade their strength to the Sixth Stage of Perfection or the Seventh Stage.

This is nearly ten years of time.

During this time, they either stay on safe islands, preferably in areas where the Church is present, such as within Gemini Island for intense training.

Or come to the World Scar in this area to directly confront the jaws of devouring. Coupled with the complete defense system here, and their battle experience, they can fight and meditate to train at the same time here.

They can also strengthen their strength through treasures in the ruins and relics.

This is their choice, because no matter which option they choose, the first or the second, they have to come here.

It’s just a matter of how long they stay here.

”We must first pass through the safe transport passage to reach the Demon Defense Wall, to reach this fortress first.”

Alka said while drawing a circle in one direction of the city wall.

There is a fortress there, equivalent to a node of the city wall.

Before others could ask, Alka directly explained: ”According to information, Grefar, the Demon Hunter Judge, is at this fortress now, and I still have to return the treasure borrowed from him.”

Hearing this, everyone nodded, almost forgetting about this matter.

”However, this time, not everyone needs to go together, we will split into two teams.”

Hearing this from Alka, everyone looked at him. Some wondered why, since there seemed to be no necessary tasks requiring them to split up now.

This place is not safe; staying together can handle most troubles.

Alka waved gently, and an area on the sand table protruded.

”You can take this opportunity while I’m away to map out this area. Also, gather some information about this area, or any relics here.”

Everyone looked at the area on the sand table, which was about 200 kilometers away from their current location at Giant Stone Port.

It’s considered a relatively nearby place.

Yes, this is also one of the wildernesses. There are no sightings of gathering places around, and it’s relatively far from the safe transport passage.

But since Alka has already mentioned it, and they need the map of this area, the meaning is already self-explanatory.

”Moreover, this is also an opportunity. If he wants my life, or intends to harm you, now is the best time.

We can understand to what extent he can manage in this place based on how he deals with us right now.

Afterwards, we can have better strategies to counter him.”

Alka mentioned his thoughts at this time.

Facing this thought, everyone discussed among themselves, but I did not object.

”The Heart of Vastva will also be in your temporary care.” Alka said, as a crystal ball floated out from his body and onto the table.

”Why?” Chadite asked with a bit of confusion.

Alka looked at Lucilia and asked, ”You should also feel it. Although this area is very chaotic, the spatial aspect is instead extremely stable.

Long-distance spatial teleportation would only be possible through suspect or special means. It’s very difficult to perform long-distance teleportation as casually as in the outside world, and it carries significant risk.”

Hearing Alka’s words, Lucilia nodded in agreement.

”Since we are dealing with the jaws of devouring, we must also ensure some level of safety protection.

Although space becomes very stable, if we have the Heart of Vastva, it would be very easy to open and enter spatial teleport gates. It’s not for long-distance transport; I have already tested it before.

This way, it can provide you with sufficient safety assurance when danger approaches.”

Evidently, the defensive measures here are aimed against those demons to prevent them from wreaking havoc within the city wall.

Hearing this, Chadite looked at Alka and said, ”What about yourself?”

At this time, Alka smiled and a mirror appeared in his hand, with the scene inside the mirror changing into a dreamlike scene.

”Although the space here has become stable, the connection with the Dream Realm hasn’t changed. I can connect to the Dream Realm through the mirror for teleportation or evasion.

Compared to using the Heart of Vastva, it’s more convenient, but only I can use it this way.”
