Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

With a somewhat helpless shake of his head, he spoke.

The speed of the promotion was indeed too fast.

Alka smiled and said nothing more, sitting beside the nearby tea table with the Archbishop.

He placed the box on the table and opened it.

The Archbishop looked at the Scythe of the Harvest inside the box. Seeing the seal he had previously placed on this Treasure still intact, he nodded.

Seeing the Archbishop nod, Alka closed the lid and then pushed the box forward.

”Thank you again for your help. This time it was extremely important to me.”

The Archbishop smiled, nodded, waved his hand, and then patted the box.

”It was just a matter of mutual need.”

He placed his hand on the box and looked at Alka: ”Now that you’re back, when do you plan to leave again? Or are you planning to rest on the island for a while longer?”

After all, it had been many years since his last return.

”I might stay on Gemini Island for about a year,” Alka thought for a moment and said.

It takes time to purchase enough materials, and there are so many Treasures to construct. Especially since there is also a Scepter Level Treasure, all of these require time.

It just so happens that within this year, his companions can also enhance their strength to the Fifth Stage.

”Oh, that’s great. You’ve certainly done a lot of things outside. Charles Fan, the Archbishop of Longmeisi Island, asked me to thank you on his behalf.”

”Who is this?” Alka thought for a moment but indeed hadn’t heard of this name.

The Archbishop smiled: ”He has a very prized disciple who is a Saint of the Holy Mother and also a Prince of a small island.

It’s said that this Prince has already become a King, which was also thanks to your help, wasn’t it.”

Hearing this, Alka suddenly realized, so that’s how it is.

It seems that the information within the Church is very well-informed. The Archbishop apparently knows what he did on Southern Cross Island.

”What are your plans after this?” the Archbishop suddenly asked.

Hearing this, Alka leaned back in his chair.

There were still things he wanted to do, like visiting the World Scar.

He also needed to take a look at the Tower of Trial located in various places; these twelve towers are not something that can be gathered quickly.

Before going to collect these twelve towers, he definitely had to eliminate the hidden rats lurking in the shadows.

So Alka said, ”I might go to the World Scar afterward, as the issue with the Maw of Devourment must be resolved.”

”I heard you ran into it again on Southern Cross Island this time?”

Alka nodded.

”It seems like you’ve indeed been marked by this damned Demon.”

The Archbishop thought for a moment and pushed the box over: ”Since you’re going to the World Scar, then take this Treasure and deliver it to him yourself.

When you get there, he will definitely greet you.”

Alka didn’t immediately take the box but instead looked at the Archbishop and asked, ”Do you have any advice about that place?”

Hearing this, the Archbishop’s face showed a reminiscent expression: ”That place... when I was young, I also battled there, painful memories, beautiful memories, it’s all there.

Just as he said before, that place indeed hides the legacy of a vast Empire, but it’s also an unrelenting meat grinder.

People from various Churches, various Empires, and different organizations.

Pirates, Mercenaries, those filled with hatred, Saints who save the world, ambitious people, Seekers of Treasure, outsiders harboring malice towards the world, Demons, monsters, it’s practically a melting pot.”

Hearing this, Alka obviously gained a bit of new insight into this place.

”However, the main theme of that cruel place is still resisting the Demon invasion. Demons continuously invade the world there.

Each Church’s Knight Order will hold the line there, and people from major powers will also provide manpower to organize defenses.

Ultimately, war remains the main theme there, so if you wish to seek Treasure there, it’s best to be careful, because war is constantly waging, large and small, everywhere.”

Alka listened and nodded.

”But there’s no need to worry; there has long been effective resistance. At that time, you can directly go to the area under our Church’s control.

Once there, you will naturally gain more understanding.”

After chatting with the Archbishop for a while, Alka nodded, pressed the box against his hand again, and bade farewell as he left.
