Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

We’re screwed!

Hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Sakomiyu Ayase felt her heart sink straight to rock bottom.

Even though she didn’t know exactly what Yangg Shenyai wanted Sakuramitsu Shuu to do, she could clearly tell that Sakuramitsu Shuu was an indispensable part of Yangg Shenyai’s plan. That was precisely why Sakomiyu Ayase had come here: to protect Sakuramitsu Shuu, and at the same time try to drag him back into the Funeral Society. In Sakomiyu Ayase’s eyes, as long as she could rebuild a good relationship with Sakuramitsu Shuu, everything could be rebooted and Yangg Shenyai’s dying wish could be carried on.

But now that this had happened, Sakomiyu Ayase knew that Sakuramitsu Shuu absolutely would never return to the Funeral Society...... if he went back, he probably wouldn’t be their companion anymore, but their enemy. Thinking of this, Sakomiyu Ayase felt utterly despairing, completely at a loss.

”Your complexion doesn’t look so good.”

Looking at Sakomiyu Ayase’s expression, Fang Zheng chuckled.

”Don’t tell me you’ve got a thing for classmate Sakuramitsu Shuu?”

”Haah?”

Hearing that, Sakomiyu Ayase was stunned.

”I totally don’t...... that...... it’s not what you think......”

”Relax, I was just saying it casually.”

Fang Zheng laughed.

”Alright, you head back first. Don’t worry about classmate Sakuramitsu Shuu, I’ll find time to have a proper talk with him.”

”Ah, okay, sorry to trouble you, teacher.”

Sakomiyu Ayase’s mind was a complete mess at the moment, and she only replied to Fang Zheng’s words offhandedly, then turned and pushed her wheelchair away. Right now, for Sakomiyu Ayase, the biggest issue wasn’t whether Sakuramitsu Shuu would return to the Funeral Society anymore, but what Sakuramitsu Shuu was going to do next!

What was Sakuramitsu Shuu going to do next?

That was also something Fang Zheng was very curious about. But unlike Sakomiyu Ayase, who could only go back and wait for the answer, Fang Zheng could watch a live broadcast!

So after sending Sakomiyu Ayase off, Fang Zheng opened his personal terminal again and resumed watching the stream.

Sure enough, just as Fang Zheng had expected, once he learned that his mother had been killed, Sakuramitsu Shuu flew into a rage, drew his Void and had an all-out brawl with the Funeral Society members opposite him, completely crushing them. Not only that, Sakuramitsu Shuu also met with the Commander of the Antibody Squad, saying that he had previously been confused and had been forced to join the Funeral Society, but now he’d seen clearly the Funeral Society’s anti-human, anti-societal, terrifying nature, and was therefore willing to abandon the darkness for the light and join GHQ.

To demonstrate his firm resolve in joining the organization, Sakuramitsu Shuu decisively sold out the Funeral Society members at school, like Inori Yuzuriha, Sakomiyu Ayase, and the others!

So GHQ immediately dispatched an Army to Uranus State First High School, attempting to capture Inori Yuzuriha and the others. However, these girls could more or less be considered used to being on the run; the moment they noticed GHQ mobilizing its Army, they hurriedly left the school and went back into hiding, so they weren’t caught.

Of course, the bad blood between Sakuramitsu Shuu and the Funeral Society just kept getting worse and worse.

As for Fang Zheng and Sakuramitsu Shinmei...... they were the type to enjoy the show without fearing things getting out of hand — the bigger the mess, the more fun the spectacle!

After that, the drama kept coming nonstop.

First, two days after the Funeral Society hostage incident, a yacht out on the open sea exploded; all the members of the Consecration Center clan attending the party on board were killed. The Consecration Center Financial Syndicate was then raided by GHQ. The official reason given was that they had discovered financial dealings between the Consecration Center clan and the Funeral Society, suspecting them of aiding terrorists.

As for the real reason, naturally it was because there had always been an internal desire and belief within the Consecration Center Financial Syndicate to revive Japan’s independence, especially in the heart of Arisa of Consecration Center’s grandfather. GHQ was never going to let that kind of budding movement slide, and that was why Fang Zheng didn’t bother intervening — he just watched a live stream of a ”Good day to you, madam” sinking-ship soap opera.

After all, from Fang Zheng’s standpoint, organizations like the Funeral Society and the Consecration Center that clung to the belief of Japan’s independence all deserved to die. He wasn’t about to change sides just because there were a few pretty girls in there. So even when the much-admired student council president at school, Arisa of Consecration Center, was killed in GHQ’s attack on the yacht, Fang Zheng didn’t even frown.

You have to remember, once this Sealed World is lifted, it’ll still be part of this planet. And to ensure that the Heavenly Dao Palace can completely take over and rule this planet, Fang Zheng has to rip out by the roots every group like Consecration Center and the Funeral Society, wiping them all out in one go. Now that GHQ is helping, he doesn’t even need to move personally — he can just occasionally guest-star as a warm, kind member of the Chaoyang Masses. Where else are you going to find such a sweet deal?

And Fang Zheng had also learned from Sakuramitsu Shinmei that GHQ was actually just a chess piece; the real mastermind was Sakuramitsu Shuu’s mother Sakuramitsu Chunka’s—older brother. He was trying to trigger a second ”Lost Christmas,” letting the Apocalypse Virus resonate once more, destroying the old world and creating a brand-new one, where a new King would lead humanity into a new phase of Evolution!

In this plan, Sakuramitsu Shinmei was the Queen. As for candidates for the King, originally Yangg Shenyai counted as one, but he’d already been taken out by Fang Zheng; Sakuramitsu Shuu also counted as one, handpicked by Shinmei. And the last candidate was the mastermind himself. On this, Sakuramitsu Shinmei expressed that the guy was an old cow trying to eat young grass, which was absolutely disgusting!

Fang Zheng said not to worry — just find a time to take him out; it’s not even a big deal.

That said, you had to admit, this GHQ bunch did at least have their brains online.

The mastermind, Kido Shuichiro, was planning to use the fragments of the Primordial Meteorite that first crashed to trigger a second ”Lost Christmas.” But he already had a plan: spread the information and lure the Funeral Society into taking the bait. At the same time, he sent his own subordinates to approach Sakuramitsu Shuu and tell him certain things.

With the ”help” of the mastermind, Sakuramitsu Shuu finally recovered his memories and remembered———— that he had an older sister!

This news was practically a Redemption for the current Sakuramitsu Shuu, because when he recalled his memories, he also remembered everything that had happened back then and the nature of his relationship with Yangg Shenyai. At the same time, he understood the true identity of the girl who kept appearing before him, who he wasn’t sure was a hallucination or a dream.

That girl was his sister———Sakuramitsu Shinmei!

With his mother and his close friends dead, she was Sakuramitsu Shuu’s only blood-related family left in this world!

He had to save her!

However, the person Sakuramitsu Shuu had now resolved to rescue was, at this moment, in a very different state.

”.........Hey, what are you doing?”

When Fang Zheng returned to the infirmary, the first thing he saw was Sakuramitsu Shinmei rolling around in front of the computer like someone who’d blown all her money betting on horses.

”Ah, Fang Zheng!”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s voice, Sakuramitsu Shinmei jumped to her feet and pointed at the computer screen.

”I feel such a connection with her!”

”Oh? Who?”

Fang Zheng followed Sakuramitsu Shinmei’s finger and looked. On the computer screen was a game, showing a silver-haired girl with hair down to her waist, looking petite and cute, with blood-red eyes and a calm, cold expression.

”Oh...... Kazuki Kazami, huh......”

Seeing this, Fang Zheng instantly understood, then gave Sakuramitsu Shinmei a meaningful once-over.

Of course he knew why Sakuramitsu Shinmei felt such a connection with this girl named Kazuki Kazami — because they were the same type!

Kazuki Kazami was also an older sister who deeply loved her younger brother, Yuuji Kazami. Likewise, both Kazuki Kazami and Sakuramitsu Shinmei were the kind of people born gifted, possessing special talents. But...... that’s pretty much the only thing you two have in common, okay!

Look at her, then look at you!

Kazuki Kazami had done everything, both the proper and the improper, with her younger brother since they were little. Bathing together, sleeping together — that was just standard procedure; sticking tongues out at each other and so on was nothing at all.

And you?

Just like how she kissed her own little brother and scared him off.

And after that, Kazuki Kazami, just like Sakuramitsu Shinmei, also disappeared from her little brother’s sight for some reason.

But what happened in the end?

One of them took such a heavy blow he straight-up forgot his own sister.

The other buried his sister deep in his heart, with the main-wife status never shaken.

Compared to that herbivore Sakuramitsu Shuu, Yuuji Kazami is a full-on carnivore with a harem big enough to count on two hands, yet even when he’s all lovey-dovey with other women, he never once forgot his sister.

And Sakuramitsu Shuu? He hasn’t even held hands or kissed, and he’s already tossed his own blood-related sister to the back of his mind, madly in love with a clone.

How the hell are you supposed to compete with that?

Kazuki Kazami is the true winner of the sister route, okay.

You’re completely the loser route.

”But Kazuki Kazami didn’t go kissing other men in front of her little brother when they were kids.”

”Uu......”

Hearing this, Sakuramitsu Shinmei’s face turned pale.

”I–I was doing artificial respiration......”

”And what the hell does telling me that do?”

”Aaaahhhhhh!!!”

Right now Sakuramitsu Shinmei was so depressed she clutched her head and rolled all over the floor.

”If I’d known, I never should’ve saved Treton back then! If only I could go back and start over, I’d definitely turn Shuu into a Yuuji-type.........”

”Isn’t it a little late to be saying that now.”

Fang Zheng quietly sniped back, then considerately put on a song for Sakuramitsu Shinmei.

”......I wanna go back to the past, try to let the story last, at least not let you leave me so fast, distract time so it won’t pass, this time I’ll hold you tighter than the last. Don’t know if there’s still time for me to make you stay, I wanna go back to the past......”

”Waaahhhhh!!!”

Listening to this song, Sakuramitsu Shinmei felt it stab right into her heart......

While the final boss of all this was being emotionally wrecked to tears by a song, everyone else was still carrying out their own moves.

Kido Shuichiro, who fancied himself the mastermind behind everything, deliberately released false intel, telling Sakuramitsu Shuu that there was something extremely important that needed his escort, and that this thing could awaken his sister again. On the other side, Kido Shuichiro leaked this news to the Funeral Society, letting them learn that he was trying to use that ”Primordial Meteorite” to trigger a second Lost Christmas.

But conversely, Kido Shuichiro told Sakuramitsu Shuu that it was the Funeral Society who was trying to use this ”Primordial Meteorite” to trigger a second Lost Christmas, attempting to plunge the entire world into utter chaos......

This way, the mastermind perfectly washed his hands of it; by the time he actually activated this ”Primordial Meteorite,” Sakuramitsu Shuu still wouldn’t suspect him.

The reason Kido Shuichiro revealed this to the Funeral Society was precisely to lure Inori Yuzuriha out, since she was an essential tool for the reincarnation and revival of Sakuramitsu Shinmei, and absolutely had to be captured.

Kido Shuichiro was busy as hell, feeling like everything was well within his grasp.

Completely unaware that the true masterminds were currently, one playing games and the other writing settings......

Everything was ready; only the east wind was missing.

The Funeral Society fell for it, just as expected.

Of course they wouldn’t allow GHQ to create another ”Lost Christmas,” so as the Funeral Society’s military commander, Quadrant gathered all their comrades. Taking advantage of the enemy transferring the ”Primordial Meteorite,” they launched a surprise attack on the airport, attempting to seize the ”Primordial Meteorite,” however......their path was blocked.

”Get out of the way, Sakuramitsu Shuu!!”

Facing Sakuramitsu Shuu on the opposite side, Void in hand, the burly Dayun tightened his grip on his weapon.

”You want to stand on GHQ’s side? They’re the ones trying to destroy this world!”

”Bullshit, the ones trying to destroy the world are clearly you people from the Funeral Society!”

Raising the Void in his hand, Sakuramitsu Shuu glared viciously at the Funeral Society members opposite him.

”You killed my mom, and now you want to destroy the world. I will never let you succeed!”

Looking at the Sakuramitsu Shuu in front of them, Quadrant and the others were utterly despairing. At this point, nothing they said would get through to him; the hatred of a mother’s murder isn’t something you can just talk away. Now Sakuramitsu Shuu had completely branded the Funeral Society as an all-evil terrorist organization, firmly believing they were trying to use that ”Primordial Meteorite” to trigger a ”second Lost Christmas.” No matter what they said, it was useless.

In the end, Quadrant grit his teeth and gave the order.

”Attack, we don’t have time!”

”Like hell I’ll let you succeed!!”

With a furious shout, Sakuramitsu Shuu swung the Void in his hand, plunging into a full-on brawl with the Funeral Society members before him.

At the same time, atop the airport control tower, Kido Shuichiro stood there, looking down at the chaotic battlefield below. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly into a cold smile.

Then he looked toward the dim sky before him and raised both hands high.

”Well then, let’s begin. The time has come to carry on that Lost Christmas from that day!”

”————————!!!”

As his words fell, the next instant, a streak of purple Radiance suddenly burst forth from the center of the tower, turning into a halo that swept across the entire city. As the purple Aura spread, eerie music echoed through the sky, and at the same time, the world around them gradually began to change.

Everything, in this moment, reached its peak.

At the same time, Fang Zheng also lifted his head and looked toward the window.

So it finally begins.

The final script.
