Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

As for whether Fang Zheng is actually human, it’s not just Afro Head who has doubts; in fact, almost everyone now has similar questions.

The truth is, everything that’s happening in front of them is too incredible, beyond all expectations. Hearing this, a man dressed oddly, holding four hamsters, lowered his head and let out a cold laugh.

”Hohoho, I can feel the dense dark magic power entwined around that man; he is definitely no ordinary person!”

”Did you really need to say that?”

Facing his companion’s chuunibyou behavior, a blonde twin-tailed girl in a kimono beside him immediately retorted with sarcasm. It’s obvious to everyone that Fang Zheng is no ordinary person. Just this golden, flashy spaceship is definitely not something that should exist in their world.

”Speaking of which, Mr. Fang Zheng originally introduced himself as the Ultimate Mage to us......”

This time Afro Head also joined the conversation.

”Mage? No, no, no, this is clearly the Ultimate Alien!”

Another freckled girl with short red hair holding a camera frantically shook her head.

”Uh......”

Hearing the word ”alien,” Makoto Naegi’s expression immediately became awkward.

”What’s wrong?”

Looking at Makoto Naegi’s expression, Togami Byakuya curiously inquired, and Makoto Naegi scratched his head awkwardly.

”Well...... I suddenly remembered that when Kirigiri-san asked Mr. Fang Zheng before, he did indeed say he was an alien. Of course, at that time everyone thought he was joking...”

Makoto Naegi did not continue but there was no need to say more. Just looking at this golden spaceship in front of them, it was clear that Fang Zheng was not joking then.

”Kirigiri-san, what do you think?”

Makoto Naegi once again turned to the white-haired girl standing in front of the screen, and upon hearing Makoto Naegi’s inquiry, Kirigiri Kyoko pondered for a moment, and shook her head.

”I don’t care, whether Mr. Fang Zheng’s identity is an alien or a mage, ultimately he is an existence beyond our understanding. But anyway, at least for now, he seems to be on our side; for now, that’s enough.”

”That’s true.”

Hearing Kirigiri Kyoko’s response, a girl with long golden hair, exuding noble qualities like a princess, also nodded.

”Anyway, he saved Chiaki-san, about whom we’ve been speculating about his identity and origins. If it wasn’t for Mr. Fang Zheng’s help, Chiaki-san would probably have already met Junko Enoshima’s deadly hand, and we too probably wouldn’t be standing here now.”

”I believe Mr. Fang Zheng isn’t a bad person.”

At this time, Sayaka Maizono also joined in, clasping her hands to her chest.

”Mr. Fang Zheng is a very gentle person, I... I know this very well......”

Saying this, Sayaka Maizono’s cheeks flushed a bit, it was unclear what she thought of.

Seeing this scene, a pang of sourness welled up deep inside Makoto Naegi. After all, he had been secretly in love with her for three years... Well, even though Makoto Naegi himself knew that there was no possibility between an ordinary student like him and Sayaka Maizono, a popular idol. But, oh well, somehow, still feeling a bit... never mind, it’s useless to think about these things now.

With this thought, Makoto Naegi looked away and sighed a mixed sigh.

Fang Zheng didn’t know what Makoto Naegi was thinking, at this moment he was tracking the whereabouts of two girls following the guidance of the past sight.

”But to be honest, they really can run...”

Fang Zheng walked out of the gate, glanced at the surrounding streets, and frowned slightly. Along the way, he had already seen many corpses killed by Black and White Bear. But it wasn’t just these; there were also many kids with Black and White Bear headgear jubilantly torturing and beating those corpses, as if they had some deep hatred towards them.

Although he knew these kids were probably brainwashed by Black and White Bear because of the headgear, this scene still displeased Fang Zheng. To be honest, even in the Pitch Black World, he didn’t want the Cursed Children to deal with those who abused them in this way.

It’s not that Fang Zheng has a saintly heart, but as a Deity, this is something he can do himself. There’s no need to have the abused Cursed Children retaliate in this manner.

Not to mention, the relationship between both sides in this world hasn’t reached that level of conflict as in the Pitch Black World......

To be frank, Fang Zheng thinks it’s better for these kids to drop dead. Once they wake up and see their parents’ corpses, then recall everything they’ve done, it’s unlikely anything good will come of it.

As he considered this, Fang Zheng continued forward. Soon, he followed the girls’ phantom through the streets to an underground subway entrance.

”Is it here?”

Looking at the blue iron door in front of him, Fang Zheng’s face became serious, then he clenched his fist and struck the iron door with force.

”Boom!!!”

The blue iron door flew open with the sound, and blinding light emerged from within. Fang Zheng raised his head and saw not far ahead of him was a structure resembling a coliseum, surrounded by iron wire, with hundreds to thousands of kids wearing Black and White Bear headgear seated in the audience swaying continually.

And at the center of the arena, under the spotlight, stood two bewildered girls. One had short black hair and wore a blue and white sailor uniform. The other had shoulder-length blonde hair, a music note hairpin, pink sweater, and plaid skirt.

Moreover, the two girls looked towards the front with pale faces, and not far in front of them was a pile of garbage.

No, that’s not garbage.

Those are corpses.

Hundreds of corpses piled there, rotting, bloodied, the smell permeating the air disgustingly. Seeing this, Fang Zheng narrowed his eyes, revealing a hint of cold killing intent. Then he strode into the arena and approached the two girls. As he did, the two girls heard the noise and turned their heads uneasily, staring at Fang Zheng in confusion one was unsure what to do.

”You, you’re......”

”Are you Komaru Naegi? Are you Makoto Naegi’s sister?”

Fang Zheng raised his head and looked at the short-haired girl in front of him, asking. Actually, he almost didn’t need to ask to know the answer, as the silly hair sticking up on her head matched Makoto Naegi’s exactly.

No need for a DNA test to know they’re siblings.

”Ah, yes, I am......”

”My name is Fang Zheng, I’m here to rescue you, it seems you have run into some trouble.”

Fang Zheng glanced at the two girls, then looked forward, while the girl named Komaru Naegi also hurriedly nodded.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, I, I...... well......”

”I know what you want to say, but for now, you should leave here first. What I’m about to do is not suitable for children, it’s best you don’t stay here to watch.”

Saying this, Fang Zheng looked at the blonde girl beside him.

”Can I trouble you to leave here first, and wait for me by the tunnel? I’ll handle things here shortly.”

”Ah, okay, um...”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s command, the blonde girl nodded, then looked at Fang Zheng, wanting to say something, but Fang Zheng waved her off.

”It’s best you don’t say anything, don’t ask anything, I won’t answer. Alright, go on.”

”.........Yes.”

The blonde girl gazed at Fang Zheng, finally seeming to make up her mind, then pulled Komaru Naegi and left the arena along the path. Only after confirming the disappearance of their figures did Fang Zheng turn to stare coldly at the boy in front of him.

”Did you do all this?”

”That’s right!”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s inquiry, a boy wearing headphones, shorts, looking about ten years old, confidently puffed out his chest.

”These guys are the demon creatures I’ve hunted, you adults are all demon creatures!”

Saying this, the boy tightly clenched his teeth, glaring at Fang Zheng.

”These guys only give birth to children, raise them for life, and control everyone on the audience seats like demon creatures! And as a hero, I’ll kill all these demon creatures and free everyone———! I’m Hero Daigoro Daimon!! As captain of the Hope Squad, I’ll kill all adults and liberate all kids!”

”Sounds nice.”

Hearing this, Fang Zheng chuckled coldly.

”Won’t you grow up someday too?”

”I will never grow up!”

However, in response to Fang Zheng’s retort, Daigoro Daimon suddenly roared.

”I’ve already promised with the rest of the Hope Squad that we’ll die as children. Rather than becoming filthy, ugly, and smelly demon creatures, it’s better to die while we’re still kids!!”

”Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh!!”

Upon hearing Daimon’s declaration, the kids in the stands wearing headgear also cheered, while Fang Zheng just stood there watching them.

”I see, it seems you have a lot of determination. Well then, let me see if your resolve is genuine.”

”Come on, I’m not afraid of you, just a mere demon creature...!”

At this moment, Daimon glared fiercely at Fang Zheng, his voice gradually sinking.

”I... am the Hero for everyone. As long as I kill all the demon creatures, I won’t have to fear anyone anymore. I won’t have to fear those people’s tyranny and violence anymore!”

Saying this, Daimon began to tremble.

”No matter if it’s painful or dark or scary or reeking of alcohol or painful, even if I’m beaten again and again... and again and again... I’m no longer afraid! I’m the Hero! I won’t be afraid! Absolutely not! No matter if it’s killing or anything else, I won’t be afraid!! Absolutely not!”

As he shouted, Daimon raised both hands high, and the next moment, something resembling a control panel descended from the sky and attached itself to him. Daimon grasped the joystick tight, swung it forcefully, and then a black shadow descended from the sky, appearing before Fang Zheng.

It was a chibi-sized, three-headed robot, how should I put it...

”Ah, this reminds me of the Divine Dragon Fighters, truly a childhood memory...”

Looking at the chibi robot in front of him, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but muse.

Meanwhile, Daimon held the joystick tightly, staring angrily at Fang Zheng, and shouted.

”Go, Hero Robot! Defeat these vile demon creatures!”

At his shout, the chibi robot immediately raised the drill in its hand and stabbed directly at Fang Zheng before it.

Yet, faced with the robot before him, Fang Zheng didn’t even budge. He stood there with his hands in his pockets, watching the robot, followed by a cold sneer.

”Humph!”

”——————!”

The next instant, as if struck by an invisible truck, the huge chibi robot was sent flying, instantly turning into a pile of scrap parts mid-air, scattering across the ground.

”......ah?”

Staring at the wrecked robot before him, Daimon stood dumbfounded, unable to believe what had just happened.

”You just said I was a demon creature, right.”

By now, Fang Zheng had already approached Daimon.

”So, as the Hero, do you know what happens if you lose to a demon creature?”

”Ah... ah...”

Looking at the coldly smirking Fang Zheng, Daimon’s face turned pale, trembling uncontrollably. Yet before he could speak, Fang Zheng kicked out his foot, striking him in the stomach. The ten-year-old boy immediately screamed, being sent flying back.

”Uu... uwa...!”

The intense pain made Daimon curl into a ball on the ground, trembling incessantly, while Fang Zheng walked toward him step by step.

”Although typically in this kind of scenario, I should find a way to correct the brat and make him realize his mistake. However, unfortunately, I don’t have the interest to do that.”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng approached Daimon once again.

”I know, the law can’t punish you, even if you cruelly killed hundreds, or even thousands. Being a child is such a good amulet, allowing you to do anything because of your young age. But I’m sorry, as you said yourself...”

At this point, Fang Zheng grinned, a sinister smile stretching across his face. He leaned down and whispered in Daimon’s ear.

”I am a demon creature, after all.”

With these words, Fang Zheng stomped on Daimon’s foot, and shortly, the clear sound of a bone breaking echoed, accompanied by Daimon’s screams.

”Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!”

”For me, age is not a problem, nor is motive, you know?”

Fang Zheng paid no mind to the child writhing and screaming in pain beneath his foot and continued speaking.

”You see, I can even already imagine, if this were a court trial, what the defense lawyer might say. Mmm, the defendant Daimon Daigoro, due to long-term domestic violence, suffered a mental breakdown and developed violent tendencies. It was his broken home that caused this tragedy, so the fault isn’t his, but his parents and family... Mmm, how about that? Doesn’t it sound convincing to the judge and jury? But for me...”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng once more moved his right foot to step on Daimon’s other leg.

”Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!”

This time, Daimon’s screams were close to a wail, yet Fang Zheng remained unwavering.

”I’m sorry, no matter how eloquent the defense lawyer is, I only see what’s right in front of me...”

As he spoke, he gestured to the mountain of corpses before them.

”Whatever kind of family you have, I don’t care.”

Fang Zheng lifted his foot again, pressing down on Daimon’s left hand.

”I couldn’t care less about what kind of parents you have.”

His heel pressed down gently, amidst the cries, a bloody, flesh-torn hand stretched out with blood and torn flesh spreading on the ground.

”I don’t care what kind of experiences you’ve had.”

Fang Zheng raised his right hand, cold air gathering in his palm, morphing into a greatsword full of Undead wails that could freeze even souls.

”But everyone must be held accountable for their actions, wouldn’t you agree? Since you said you’d rather die than grow up, then... allow me to grant your wish.”

The cold greatsword flipped down, piercing through Daimon’s small body, pinning the ten-year-old child firmly to the ground.

”Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!”

The boy screamed once more, frantically writhing as if a fish making its final desperate struggle. Yet his struggles were meaningless. One by one, ethereal chains emerged from Frostmourne, piercing the boy’s body, tightly binding his soul, pulling it out.

”It hurts! It hurts! It hurts!! Mom, save me, mom, help!!! Mom—————!”

Now Daimon was crying bitterly. The agony of having his soul torn from his body was far worse than the torments Fang Zheng had inflicted on him physically before. His tears and snot mingled, howling a primal scream of pain.

”Such a pity.”

However, Fang Zheng, arms folded, looked at him coldly, expressionless.

”No one can save you, and no one will. But rest assured, you won’t die, and you won’t grow up. Your soul will forever remain in this eternal icy prison, subjected to endless torment.”

”No, save me, no, it hurts, dad, mom... I’m so scared, I hurt so bad...”

Desperately, the boy stretched out his hand, but his body was already withering away, like a deflated balloon. The rapidly retracting chains suddenly jerked upward, violently extracting Daimon’s soul from his body, and then it was swiftly absorbed into Frostmourne.

At this point, what lay before Fang Zheng wasn’t even a corpse, just a pile of skin and bones waste.

Fang Zheng silently withdrew Frostmourne, and the blade sliced across the corpse. Soon, flames erupted, consuming Daimon’s body, along with the mountain of corpses and engulfing the entire arena in a sea of fire. The children in the stands, who had been watching with their headgear, now screamed, turning to flee in panic like a swarm of startled insects.

”This is just the beginning, watch carefully.”

Fang Zheng lifted his head, looking at the camera in the corner of the arena, a grim, cold smile stretching across his face.

”I hope you remember this: for every cause, there is an effect, and your retribution is me.”
